| Paul Confirms Stormy Days With PSquare, Prays For God's Intervention Posted: 22 Apr 2014 08:20 AM PDT Paul Okoye has gone on Facebook to somehow confirm the rift between the PSquare twins and their manager and elder brother Jude Okoye that has left the musical group shaky and their fans tense. He left the message, "After the storm comes the calm. Hoping for better days ahead as one family. God's intervention." Following that has been an outpouring of prayers from fans and other commenters on the post. The twin, credited with writing most of the duo's songs has also been sharing several pictures in the past week that seem to allude to wanting their family to remain united. Like below...
RML wishes them all the best as their work through. There is nothing more beautiful than brothers united in love. | ||||||||
| On Tiwa and TeeBillz Dubai Wedding - What Has Venue Got to Do With Patriotism? Posted: 22 Apr 2014 02:29 PM PDT Tiwa Savage and Teebillz held their traditional wedding ceremony in Nigeria last November and will be holding the white wedding in Dubai this weekend. Photo above shows Tiwa arriving at her room in the hotel where the wedding is to take place. When Banky W, a close friend of the couple posted the image of the pre-wedding party where he and other celebs are to perform, one of his followers was very critical. @afrikaetal said "Why Dubai all the time. Use the powerful platform you have to promote your home country instead of the hypocrisy of always running to other Countries. If you all invest the money into small businesses in Nigeria or Africa at lage, we too will have others running to us # proudly African #" Banky W did not find it funny, "Such comments irritate me. We use the platforms we have to promote Nigeria all the time. We invest our money in Nigeria, You don't know the number of kids we put through school with scholarships, the number of health care bills we pay for people…you don't know the number of Nigerian companies we bank roll and float or the number of ideas we invest. It's hard enough finding happiness in this world… Two people should be able to celebrate it any way they fell like it!!! PLUS They already did their traditional wedding in Nigeria, they should be free to do whatever or go wherever they want for the white wedding. It;s THEIR wedding. Not a country's…not a state's…not mine…and certainly not yours. Leave them be. People all over the world get married, go on vacations or honeymoons, wherever they feel like it all over the world. Our ppl (people) should be allowed to do the same without being branded hypocrites. You and the high horse you rode in on should have several seats. My goodness." What do you think? Does setting one's wedding outside Nigeria when both of the couple live in Nigeria signify less love for the country? |
