Is That a Baby Bump? Photos Of Eva Mendes at Her Most Recent Red Carpet Appearances

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 04:35 PM PDT

It was reported a couple of days ago that Eva Mendes and boyfriend Ryan Gosling are expecting their first child together [read here].

The actress is said to be seven months pregnant leading some to wonder if she had begun to show at the times she was last photographed at events. Turns out that the star deliberately wanted to keep the news as quiet as possible and for as long as she could.

Eva Mendes kept an extremely low profile in recent months, and made her last red carpet appearance in March. At all the events, she wore looser clothes that could hide a baby bump.

What do you think, was she showing even back then?

Khloé Kardashian Confesses That She Knew About Lamar Odom's Cheating During Their Marriage

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 03:47 PM PDT

In a new preview for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian confessed that her now ex-husband Lamar Odom cheated on her with another woman on her birthday last year and she lied to her family to  cover for him.

She disclosed this, while cleaning out her closet and packing up her things from the home she once shared with Lamar Odom, to sister Kourtney Kardashian!
"The way I was living is not a way to live! I kept in hiding every time there was something going on. I would have to lie, or conceal, or cover up, and I'm so over it!"
While infidelity rumors ran rampant, this is the first time Khloé has opened up on the matter and actually admits to knowing about Lamar's cheating.

"Lamar is doing all this press because he is on a new team. But what he is saying is just not true. Saying that he talks to me everyday and that we are working things out. But I haven't been able to reach him for months. And it almost gets my hopes up.'

"He's wearing his ring full time. F*** your ring, you were wearing it when you were f****** someone else too! The way I was living was not a way to live. Everything I did I had to hide or conceal or cover up.

"Let me tell you something. Last year on my birthday I lied to everyone. Because I had to lie and say I was with my husband. When in fact my husband was missing with another girl. Okay? And I lied and I gave up my Beyonce tickets. That's how badly I was hiding. And I didn't have a birthday. I was alone and lied to everyone.'

Angelina Jolie Is Planning To Sue Daily Mail Over Heroin Video For Invasion of Privacy

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 02:12 PM PDT

Angelina Jolie has reportedly begun legal action against the Daily Mail for publishing a video online [here], which it claims shows her while she was addicted to heroin during the 1990s.

The newspaper suggested the footage, taken from the National Enquirer, featured a conversation between Jolie and her father Jon Voight about her brother James and late mother Marcheline Bertrand.

The Times writes Jolie is believed to regard the publication of the video as a gross violation of her privacy.

Former drug dealer Franklin Meyer claims he supplied cocaine and heroin three times a week to the actress and allegedly recorded the footage.

Reports of Jolie's legal action come just days after the Daily Mail was forced to apologise to actor George Clooney for suggesting his fiancee's mother objected to their marriage on religious grounds.

Clooney blasted the publication for the story, writing a blistering op-ed in USA Today, in which he accused the Daily Mail of behaviour that "should be criminal".

Clooney has refused to accept the apology, taking to USA Today once more to say: "There is one constant when a person or company is caught doing something wrong. The coverup is always worse."

#BackToCleveland - LeBron James Returns to Cleveland Cavaliers as Fans React in Hilarious Memes

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 01:49 PM PDT

LeBron James announced today that he would be leaving the Miami Heats and moving back to join the Cavaliers in Cleveland, Ohio.

The 29-year-old star basketballer wrote an open-letter sharing his decision, in which he confirms that his wife, Savannah is having a baby girl. Check it out.

Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It's where I walked. It's where I ran. It's where I cried. It's where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I'm their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn't realize that four years ago. I do now.

Remember when I was sitting up there at the Boys & Girls Club in 2010? I was thinking, This is really tough. I could feel it. I was leaving something I had spent a long time creating. If I had to do it all over again, I'd obviously do things differently, but I'd still have left. Miami, for me, has been almost like college for other kids. These past four years helped raise me into who I am. I became a better player and a better man. I learned from a franchise that had been where I wanted to go. I will always think of Miami as my second home. Without the experiences I had there, I wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing today.

I went to Miami because of D-Wade and CB. We made sacrifices to keep UD. I loved becoming a big bro to Rio. I believed we could do something magical if we came together. And that's exactly what we did! The hardest thing to leave is what I built with those guys. I've talked to some of them and will talk to others. Nothing will ever change what we accomplished. We are brothers for life.  I also want to thank Micky Arison and Pat Riley for giving me an amazing four years.

I'm doing this essay because I want an opportunity to explain myself uninterrupted. I don't want anyone thinking: He and Erik Spoelstra didn't get along. … He and Riles didn't get along. … The Heat couldn't put the right team together. That's absolutely not true.

I'm not having a press conference or a party. After this, it's time to get to work.

When I left Cleveland, I was on a mission. I was seeking championships, and we won two. But Miami already knew that feeling. Our city hasn't had that feeling in a long, long, long time. My goal is still to win as many titles as possible, no question. But what's most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio.

I always believed that I'd return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn't know when. After the season, free agency wasn't even a thought. But I have two boys and my wife, Savannah, is pregnant with a girl.

And then fans on both sides of the divide, Miami Heat fans and Cavalier fans started the memes.

At a point #sadwade was trending on Twitter. Laugh it off :)

John Legend's New Video - You & I (Nobody In The World) is a Love Song To All Women

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 12:21 PM PDT

John Legend premiered the official music video for "You & I (Nobody in the World)" yesterday on VEVO. The clip opens with John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen [see her also in John's All of Me] before showcasing women of all races, ages, and sizes.

A cancer patient without her wig, the scars of a woman with mastectomy, a kissing lesbian couple, a biracial little girl, and one with Downs Syndrome, all of us are stars. Transgender actress Laverne Cox ("Orange Is the New Black ") also makes an appearance.

Very touching video, and also a tear-jerking ballad with thoughtful lyrics. A love song to all women.

You fix your make up, just so
Guess you don't know, that your beautiful
Try on every dress that you own
You were fine in my eyes, a half hour ago

If your mirror won't make it any clearer I'll
Be the one to let you know

Out of all the girls
You my one and only girl
Ain't nobody in the world tonight

All of the stars, you make them shine like they were ours
Ain't nobody in the world but you and I
You and I
Ain't nobody in the world but you and I

You stop the room when we walk in
Spotlights on everybody staring
Tell all of these boys, they wasting their time
Stop standing in line, cause your all mine

And this evening I, won't let the feeling die
I never wanna leave your side

Out of all the girls
You my one and only girl
Ain't nobody in the world tonight

All of the stars you make them shine like they were ours
Ain't nobody in the world but you and I
You and I
Ain't nobody in the world

You keep wondering if you're what I'm wanting
You don't even have to try

You don't have to try
Don't try
Don't try
You don't have to try

Out of all the girls
You my one and only girl
Ain't nobody in the world tonight

All of the stars, they don't shine brighter than you are
Ain't nobody in the world but you and I
You and I
You and I
Nobody in the world tonight
Ain't nobody in the world but you and I

[RML Women] Udo Okonjo of WOW DIVAS and Fine and Country Real Estate

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 11:07 AM PDT

Udo Okonjo is the C.E.O of Fine and Country West Africa, a renowned real estate company, and also the founder of W.O.W. D.I.V.A.S Network, an NGO that works to motivate women. Udo says empowering women is one of the most rewarding things in her life.

There is nothing more empowering than empowering than the thought that in sharing my own experience, solutions would be triggered in those that will be reading this. It is a joy to empower, strengthen and change someone's previously disempowering perspective or lack of enlightenment about a situation.

Being diagnosed with cancer some 8 years ago  and ending up a few years later with the healthiest, cutest, most heartbreakingly handsome second son is something for which I am thankful to God.
Read the rest of our exclusive interview with Udo Okonjo below...

Tell us about your WOW DIVAS. What are the big issues?
WOW D.I.V.A.S means Women of Worth, Divinely Inspired Victoriously Anointed Sisters. It was inspired by my desire to never let another woman think that she is alone in her valley, that she has no one to cry and celebrate with or support her through life's lows and highs.

There is this myth that women are their own worst enemies, I decided to challenge this myth head on and so I invited a group of women (initially my friends and friends of friends) who could use some cheering, laughter, support, encouragement and empowerment to go through the seasons of their lives.

I wanted them to know that they are not alone and i believed that by being in the midst of other women who had triumphed over adversity, they too would become empowered to rise to their full height and confront whatever was facing them.

From a modest first hangout on the 29th October 2010 in Johannesburg, South Africa with 26 women from different countries, WOW DIVAS was born. It has mutated to a global network of over 150 purposeful women driven by the desire to inspire, encourage, celebrate and empower one another.

Why should women want to join or attend the workshops?
At our WOW DIVAs meetings, there is a lot of encouragement, prayer, affirmations, food and drinks. It is a time to practice what I call the RRR – Retreat, Revive and Refresh. It is essential to a woman giving her ultimate best. When a woman is not balanced emotionally, physically and spiritually, she is unable to function as the phenomenal woman God created her to be. We believe that impossible is nothing, that is why we walk on water daily. WOW- women of worth; walking on water.

What made you passionate about women? How did you become involved in the cause/issues?
I have witnessed a few friends go through difficult seasons in their lives. One of the biggest challenges facing women is having the power to stay focused and positive in the face of difficulties. There are so many challenges from distress at home, to not being appreciated or having societal demands from family members, in-laws and work place pressures that make many women want to throw in the towel and live depressed or attempt suicides as a way out.

The inability of women to stand up for what they truly believe and the insight to recognize how truly valuable they are and how worthy they are to receive the best in life and live joyfully is causing havoc in a lot of homes. A lot of love and support is necessary to restore self worth. I believe that it is up to women to build up other women however they can.

There is something divinely beautiful about lifting another woman up, irrespective of how close you are. You never know whose life you may save by being positive, embracing and affirming.

How has the Internet and having a website impacted your cause?
My blog and my social media are the platform through which I do what I can to make a difference in my world. I believe that 100% dedication, hard work and an uncompromising commitment to excellence are key factors to success.

One of the business secrets I have discovered are to discover your passion and make someone pay you for it. Be bold, be passionate about your teams and customers and loads more. These principles work for my business and my blog and social media platforms are the ways in which I share what I know with other growing entrepreneurs.

My social media platforms are also used to create awareness of the WOW DIVAS and what it entails. I have a closed group on Facebook where we gather daily to share the books we are reading, love, care and loads of affirmation to motivate you to take the actions that would help you fulfil your life's purpose after you have discovered it.

How has your career impacted on where you are now?
I was a lawyer for over twenty years before I became keen on real estate as a vehicle for creating wealth. I sought a way to do real estate professionally and elevate the service standards and so I sought out an international firm to ally with.

I learned pretty quickly that the opportunities were in advising and partnering with major developers and clients who would benefit from creative marketing, excellent client service management, and a high level of professional management of their sales and leasing transactions. In 2007, the West African license was signed by me and a few partners.

God has been faithful in bringing me to this point. My core values are passion, leadership, professionalism, integrity and creativity.

What were some of your most challenging moments?
Going through diagnosis, treatment and recovery were some of my most difficult moments. What got me through is a strong sense of belief in God. I don't have any clue how I would have survived without the solid foundation of unwavering faith in God. I am so thankful to God for my blessed and honourable husband, my children, parents and siblings, spiritual parents and friends were my strong support system.

I was practically carried on angel's wings throughout the diagnosis, treatment and recovery period. It helped that I was not ever actually ill (apart from the discomfort of the treatment itself which is enough to kill you) since I discovered it early enough to take a radical preventive approach.

All through I was fully engaged, working from home and filled with a firm resolve to focus on helping others. I believe that all this helped me get through and an unwavering sense of belief that I still had work to do on planet earth.

Ultimately, I believe that doing of all these alone without grace are no guarantee, so surrendering the final outcome to God during the initial stages was one of my major turning points.

6 Signs You're Having an Emotional Affair and Cheating on Your Spouse

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 07:11 AM PDT

By Jessica Padykula

Developing connections with people other than your spouse is a good thing, but there comes a point when it can get out of hand. From "testing the waters" to imagining a future with someone other than your partner, our relationship expert shares insight into whether you might be getting too emotionally attached to someone new.

"The dangers of an emotional affair are that you'll lose your primary relationship, and then, when the new relationship cools off, you'll wind up wishing you still had the first relationship," says Tina B. Tessina , PhD, (aka "Dr. Romance") psychotherapist and author of Money, Sex and Kids: Stop Fighting About the Three Things That Can Ruin Your Marriage (Adams Media, 2008).

"If there are children in your primary relationship, they will suffer. Even jobs can be wrecked by this type of infatuation." Not sure where you stand with someone at work or at the gym? Here are the telltale signs you're getting too involved:

1. You're confiding in someone other than your partner.
Having good friends to confide in is essential to your happiness, but if you're excluding your partner, and your main confidante is someone you have a crush on, then you're treading dangerous waters, warns Tessina. "If you're shutting your partner out, and going to someone else instead, you're asking for trouble and neglecting your primary relationship," she explains. "If something needs fixing between you and your partner, make an effort to fix it. Don't escape into fantasy."

2. You're "testing the waters" to see what another relationship might feel like.
No matter how unsure you feel about your primary relationship, developing an emotional relationship with someone who is not your partner or spouse won't solve anything in the long run. "This is not testing anything, except your marriage," affirms Tessina. She describes this type of "testing" as an empty fantasy, and warns that your real life (even if you did get together with this new person) won't compare to what's in your head.

3. Your spouse is no longer the person you share news with.
When something great happens (a promotion, a raise) we usually want to share the news with someone we love. If that person is no longer your spouse but someone you met elsewhere, you are likely having an emotional affair. One of the draws, explains Tessina, is that this other person doesn't owe you anything. He may be a good listener, but he has no responsibility or frustration toward you, so it's easy to talk to him. But, she asks, "Could this person step up to the plate for real if you really needed help or support?" Rather than jump into someone else's arms, if your marriage is lacking, fix that problem first. Consider talking to a therapist or couples' counsellor if you aren't able to make any headway on your own.

4. You spend a lot of time thinking about this person.
Daydreaming is something we all do, whether we're in line at the grocery store or on the treadmill. But it's not reality. "The person you're dreaming about may not even really care about you," Tessina warns. Instead, she advises putting that energy into connecting with your true partner, and doing the necessary work to improve communication and connection in your marriage.

5. You're planning an imaginary future with this person.
Do some of your daydreams involve planning a future with whomever you're emotionally involved with? If so, be careful how far you go into fantasy. "Pay attention to the fact that this is an imaginary scenario and not at all based in reality," Tessina says. "Work on fixing your real life instead. You can use these fantasies to understand what you're missing and work to develop it in the relationship you have," she explains.

6. You're bored and feeling unfulfilled.
Emotional affairs often occur when there's boredom or lack of fulfillment, coupled with an opportunity to work with or connect with someone in an ongoing way, such as in a church group, work, or class, explains Tessina. If you've been feeling a pull towards someone other than your spouse, think about what's happening in your life that might be causing you to look elsewhere. "Often people neglect their relationship and avoid fixing problems, which dampens communication and sexual energy," she says. "This makes an outside connection all the more attractive." Focus on keeping the emotional/sexual connection alive and outside relationships won't become problematic.

Put a positive spin on emotional attachment
Developing an emotional connection with someone new can turn out to be a positive, if you let it. "To make an emotional attraction positive for your marriage, be sensible about it, use it to enliven your life," advises Tessina. She suggests introducing your partner to this new friend, and socializing together. That way, you're letting your new friend know that your primary relationship is important to you.

If you feel like you're ready to move on from your primary relationship, make sure that leaving is really the best choice for you. "Take care of that before going further in the new relationship, or the breakup/divorce will haunt your new relationship forever," Tessina warns.

Rather than abandon your current situation by giving in to an emotional affair, ensure you've put in the effort to fix what isn't working in your marriage.

Kendra Wilkinson Will Show Her Husband's Cheating Scandal on Their Reality TV

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 05:07 AM PDT

Kendra Wilkinson will be opening up her marriage problems to the reality TV camera.

The reality star reportedly flushed her wedding ring down the toilet [here] after it was revealed that her husband, Hank Baskett, had cheated with a transsexual model while she was eight months pregnant. And it seems she wants us all to see her doing it.

WE TV, which broadcasts Kendra's show Kendra on Top, is filming a third season that will cover the cheating scandal and how Kendra and Hank are working on keeping their marriage.

RadarOnline reports that a WE TV spokesperson told US Weekly:

We are currently in production on season three of Kendra on Top. And yes, we are covering her reality.

A source said that during the on-camera counseling session:

Kendra was crying and Hank was kind of being a jerk, looking very pissed. She was talking divorce.

Which of course begs the question - How are we sure all of this was not staged for the cameras?

Model Posing Nude While Breastfeeding Her Baby Stirs Up The Breastfeeding Controversy Again

Posted: 11 Jul 2014 03:03 AM PDT

Gisele Bundchen, Miranda Kerr, Jaime King, Yaya DaCosta, Ashley Nicole, Karleesha Thurman, and now Natalia Vodianova. All mothers, all have chosen to breastfeed their babies, all have shared photos of themselves breastfeeding, and all have faced internet backlash over said photos.

While some have praised the women for sharing these pictures, so as to normalize breastfeeding, others have gone so far as to say they are appalled by the images.

The most recent picture to raise internet ire is Natalia Vodianova's Instagram picture above of her nursing her baby while in the nude.

Although many people saw these photos as beautiful or just another way to support breastfeeding, some have seen them as being "too sexual" or even harming the societal push to normalize breastfeeding again (yes, "again," as there was a time when it's just what was done, no questions asked).

A writer for Canadian Living wrote about Natalia Vodianova's recent photo;

"No mum looks like this when she breastfeeds. Her hair and make-up isn't usually done. She isn't posing seductively. And she certainly isn't breastfeeding in the nude. I hate this image because it presents breastfeeding in an inaccurate fashion."

So the question is, how are photos of breastfeeding supposed to look like? Women breast feed in all manner of places and times, and yes, even sometimes when their hair and makeup is all done.

To normalize breastfeeding in the public eye, all images of breastfeeding should be welcome.

See ordinary women breastfeeding HERE.

First Look at Yaya DaCosta as Whitney Houston for Lifetime Biopic

Posted: 10 Jul 2014 11:56 PM PDT

As a big fan of Whitney Houston, I confess that I'm truly excited for the Whitney Houston biopic! And with this first look at model and actress Yaya DaCosta as the late musician, I must say that I am very impressed.

Yaya has the look down pat but the question some are asking is whether she will be able to portray the mannerisms of the legendary Whitney? We all have to wait and see...

BTW, did Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina really think she could've got the role? She should be happy at the nod to her mom instead of going off on Angela Basset [see here]. Oh well, you can never please some people.

Dating Naked - A New TV Series Coming Soon on VH1, Will You Be Watching?

#DatingNaked will have the series premiere July 17 on @VH1, who will be watching?

So Dating Naked is a hookup show where two people meet up on a blind date but both are naked. And there are also group dates where everyone is naked. Like, really?

Supposedly, what they are trying to find out is if, it is "easier to find true love when you truly have nothing to hide?"

I don't watch that channel at all, but the series is trending on Twitter and I had to know what it was about. What do you think, who will be watching?

French Montana Shares Picture of Khloe Kardashians Bum on Social Media

Chris Brown made headlines a couple of times last week when he shared photos of his girlfriend Karrueche Tran's backside on Instagram But I think they were trying to make a point about cellulite. Or maybe it was to show how her butt has grown over the years.

Today, Khloe Kardashian's new boyfriend, French Montana, also showed off her behind, not naked though on his social media. Khloe's famous butt is covered in dark brown bum shorts and it looks like she's lying in bed when he took the picture.

French had only one word to explain the photo #asssscap. Does that mean butt pads?
