BREAKING NEWS! Governor’s House In Gombe Bombed! [PHOTOS] Posted: 05 Jun 2014 01:09 PM PDT    The governor's private house, which also serves as his official residence was bombed in a late afternoon attack in Gombe today. The attack happened not at the government state residence of Governor Ibrahim Dakwambo. SaharaReporters learned that a Police Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) that was stationed in front of his house was the target in the bomb blast. The bombing also touched-off multiple explosions and had rocked the district where the governor resides. Mani Manithan took on the challenge  in 1989 in a bid to stop world violence after some violent acts in his country, India.  He had vowed to keep walking backwards to achieve world peace. According to him, he is now used to walking in reverse and it doesn't affect him.He climbs stair, crosses the road backwards. Mani, who runs a mobile phone shop now revealed he has forgotten how to walk forwards. He told AFP 'Walking normally is more of a challenge - my mind has forgotten how to do it. I have become very comfortable walking like this.My life has been full of struggles, sacrifice, achievements and protest so I have no issue continuing my backwards walking until we achieve world peace.'You can see on an international scale terrorism has increased. Dr. Dre Buys Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's Moated Mansion for $40 Million! Posted: 05 Jun 2014 10:03 AM PDT     When Dr. Dre moves, he makes big moves. Lauren Beale of the Los Angeles Times reports the rap mogul and Beats Electronics founder has officially purchased Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's $40 million mansion estate in Brentwood, Los Angeles. According to Beale, the four-acre property features a French chateau surrounded by gardens, a cobblestone motor court and a moat teeming with koi fish. Designed by architect Richard Landry, the home is an 18,298-square-foot mansion with five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a library/study, a gym, a sauna, covered terraces and seven fireplaces—because no chateau worth its mortar has fewer fireplaces than bedrooms. While a $40 million home is the height of extravagance, the price Dre paid for the property is substantially less than the original listing. Brady and his wife placed their mansion on the market with the asking price of $50 million, which Dre was presumably able to haggle down by a tidy $10 million. Dre's purchase comes fast on the heels of the decision to sell his thriving music streaming and headphone company he co-founded in 2008 to Apple. According to Elizabeth Lazarowitz and Cory Siemaszko of the New York Daily News, the producer and his business partner Jimmy lovine sold Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the multinational corporation in May for $2.6 billion in cash and $400 million in stock options. Dre and lovine also accepted positions as Apple executives working under CEO Tim Cooke as part of the deal. Naturally, selling his headphones company has landed Dre firmly in the black, with more than enough cash on hand for snapping up mansions with moats. As for Brady and Bundchen, according to an article on Trulia.com (h/t Tony Manfred of Business Insider), the two are in the market for an apartment in New York City. They reportedly were looking at an $11.5 million duplex in Manhattan earlier in the year. I can already hear Brady walking into a giant, multi-level pad overlooking Central Park and gushing about how much more "manageable" it will be. INCREDIBLE!! How A 13 yr Old Girl Climbed the Tallest Mountain in the world, Mountain Everest! [PHOTO] Posted: 05 Jun 2014 08:57 AM PDT    The 13-year-old daughter of poor Indian farmers who became the youngest girl to climb Mount Everest said Wednesday that she "shed joyful tears" at the summit after a grueling climb across difficult terrain and personal fear. Nepal requires climbers to be at least 16 years old to scale its peaks, but Malavath Poorna said she and a team of Nepalese guides climbed the 29,035-foot mountain on May 25 from the northern side in Tibet. There are no age restrictions in China. "It was very difficult. Every step is a dangerous step," a smiling Poorna told reporters in New Delhi, describing steep slopes, exposed rocks, deep crevasses and extreme cold that went below minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit. At 10,830 feet, she said she saw "six dead bodies. I was shocked. Oh my god I got some fear." But she remembered her training and regained her confidence. "When I reached the top of Everest, very good experience. I feel great and proud, and I shed joyful tears" as she looked around and saw "mighty mountains and morning sunlight," she said in English, waving her hands expressively as she spoke. The climb was verified by the China Tibet Mountaineering Association in Lhasa, making Malavath the youngest girl to climb Everest. American Jordan Romero, from Big Bear, California, became the youngest boy at age 13 to reach the summit -- also from the Tibetan side -- in 2010. Malavath said her parents, impoverished farmers from the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, encouraged her during eight months of training despite the fact that she had never before been on a mountain. Her family are dalits, once known as "untouchables," at the bottom of India's ancient caste system. The expedition was sponsored by the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society as part of its program to encourage and help underprivileged students in India. A waiter across the road from the building first alerted to the danger when he heard a scream "It was a desperation ... Customers started crying at the sight.I thought nothing of it and ran to help." 28-Year Old Nigerian Who Allegedly defraud & Killed Australian Grandma Lover Arraigned In Court! [PHOTOS] Posted: 05 Jun 2014 08:16 AM PDT   Do You Remember 28-year old Orowo Jesse Omokoh, who left Nigeria for South Africa to meet his 67-year old Australian lover, who is a mother and Grandma and allegedly killed her after stealing her money, before fleeing back to Nigeria? If you missed the story, read it HERE!. Well he was arraigned in court today, June 4, 2014 and here is how SaharaReporters puts it, plus fresh pictures of him Below.. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 arraigned a suspected romance scammer: Omokoh Orowo Jesse before Justice R.B Akintola  of the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan, on a 9-count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence. Specifically, Jesse allegedly fleeced an Australian lady, Jette Jacobs of the sum of $90,000 (Ninety Thousand United States Dollars) in a romance scam that went awry. He reportedly met Jesse in an online dating site and contrived a relationship with her. Reports showed that Jette travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa in November 2012. Jesse left Nigeria to meet her on February 4, 2013. Five days later, Jette was found dead in her apartment. Jesse returned to Nigeria two days after the discovery of the body of his supposed lover in her South-African apartment. All the nine charges were read to Jesse and he pleaded not guilty. Count one of the charge reads: "Omokoh Orowo Jesse, Ifeanyi Oro (still at large), Emojewe (still at large) and David (still at large) sometime in 2012 at Ibadan within the Ibadan Judicial Division with intent to defraud conspired to obtain the sum of $70,000 (Seventy Thousand Dollars) from one Jette Jacobs, a 67-year-old Australian woman under the false pretence that the money represents payment for marriage engagement processes between you and her in Nigeria and which pretence you knew was false". In view of Jesse's plea, EFCC Counsel, Zainab Ettu prayed the court for a trial date and for the remand of the accused person in prison custody. However, counsel to the accused person, Tunji Ogunude informed the court that he had filed an application for bail and sued for bail on liberal terms for his client. REVEALED! How Young Girls Now Spy For Boko Haram! As if that was not enough, a National Newspaper reports today that young girls have now been brainwashed by Boko Haram members and have turned into their spies.  Special Forces of the Nigerian Army Unit in Gwoza, Borno State have arrested  a 13-year-old girl for spying on the military formation for the sect members after an AK 47 assault rifle was found in her residence. She later led the men to the homes of other three girls who also spies for Boko Haram. According to them, the military is also concerned that some of the abducted girls of The Government Secondary School in Chibok, who have been in their custody since April could be indoctrinated for such dangerous assignments as well. That's $10m less than the power couple had listed it for three months ago. The home was on a few millionaires' wish lists, according to TMZ but it was Dre – who recently closed a $3b Apple deal with Jimmy Iovine for their Beats company – who came out the winning bidder. Mother jumps from 3rd floor balcony after her daughter refused to break up with boyfriend (Photos) Posted: 05 Jun 2014 05:36 AM PDT    A single mother from China tried to kill herself after her daughter refused to break up with her boyfriend.                      Su Liu, 45, threw herself from the third floor of an apartment block in the city of Sichuan after trying and failing to get 18-year-old daughter Tingting to break up with boyfriend Fang Shu, 26. According to Mailonline, Mrs Liu disapproved of Fang, who Tingting met on the internet, because he is 'lazy and reluctant to work'. Mrs Liu has lived alone with Tingting in Chengdu city ever since she divorced the girl's father six years ago.But since leaving school several months ago, Tingting left the family home and moved into a rented apartment with Fang. Despite Mrs Liu 'strongly objecting' to the match, Tingting carried on with the relationship.According to a Police official On June 2, the day of the local Dragon Boat Festival, Liu found the rented room in which her daughter and the man have lived together for the past several months. Liu demanded that they break up their affair, but after her attempts failed she threatened to kill herself by jumping off the building.Tingting and her boyfriend stopped Liu and locked her in a secure room, but when they left she managed to get out and jumped out of the third floor window. Shocker! Over 200 killed as Boko Haram dressed in military uniform attack 4 villages in Borno Posted: 05 Jun 2014 02:53 AM PDT    At least 200 villagers may have died in Borno State after gunmen believed to be members of the extremist Boko Haram sect, but dressed in military uniforms attacked villages in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, government officials and eyewitnesses have said.   News of the attack is just being heard because the men destroyed the telecommunications mast in the villages during the attacks.   Reports say the men dressed as military personnel deceived the villagers that they came to protect them, only to gather them together and began to shoot them. Some of the villagers who tried to run into the bush for safety were pursued and killed by the sect men who came in terrain vehicles and motorbikes and armed with Kalashnikov assault weapons and rocket-propelled grenades. Continue... According to Hon. Peter Bive, the House of Reps member for the area at the National Assembly who spoke with AFP, he said the attacks on the villages were left many dead. "There were deadly attacks on these villages by Boko Haram insurgents who killed a large number of people and destroyed homes. We are still trying to compile a toll of the dead as people on the ground are still counting the number of casualties." he said. He also stated that the sect men have been daring enough in their actions as they have foisted their flags in 7 villages in the region indicating that those areas are now in their control "Boko Haram have hoisted their flags in at least seven villages in the area which they now claim to be under their control," he said.
