Living Life Abundantly - Area Number One is Romance in Marriage

One of the things resonating with me recently is that God said he came so that we might live life abundantly! Hmm, let's ponder on that, God came so that I (we) might  live abundantly. The first part of that sentence says that the Enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy but God comes so that we might live life abundantly!

Did you get that? God came so you, I might live life abundantly. This means that if I am not living life abundantly then something is wrong…that means simply that the enemy is trying to kill, steal or destroy a part of what God has come to do in my life! God's plan for abundant life means that the enemy's intent to hinder my abundance is to be made null and void.

So I have declared a take back mission- I am taking back everything that does not pass the test of "living abundantly". I am a woman on a mission. I am a bit of an intellectual you know so the first stop on understanding this was to dissect the word abundantly.

Abundant(ly)means overflowing, prosperous, happy, more than expected, with joy, present in large quantity, more than adequate, over sufficient, richly supplied, copious, profuse…Ahah all this just for me?

So on my take back mission I am going to tackle each and every area of my life and put it through the "living life abundantly test".

Area Number One is "Romance"

Yes if you are married you know the first area the enemy tries to destroy is romance. Such a wicked thing really!

While dating I would say "Honey, lets save your money and instead of going out again let's just stay in and watch a movie."

Or what about "I can't wait till we get married and I am all yours"

Or shy with PDA? Public Display of Affection? "ooh Honey don't kiss me outside you know I am shy"

Are you married and looked in the mirror lately? Can't remember the last time I went on a date. If we do manage to even get out on a date there is another enemy in the form of the "smartphone" that tags along.

What about romance? After a day in Lagos traffic, office drama, checking homework, running out of diesel, Prayer meeting…..did you say romance?

Then PDA? Had I known I would have to apply for a hug or hand holding private or public, I would not have been shy before!

Anyways all this one now is story…I am taking it all back from the enemy! I want abundant romance, yes I want the date nights back that will be uninterrupted by blackberry or twitter or facebook or instagram or whatsapp Phew!

I am supposed to be enjoying my marriage abundantly, that means more than what I think is ok because God has abundance in mind. After all "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life". God has already given all I need and told me that he came so I can live life abundantly!

So as I commence my take back mission – I can already visualize it my marriage bubbling, abundantly with romance, date nights, PDA (smile). So what is stopping me? Nothing that I don't already have the power to overcome!

A video of President Obama while pumping iron in a private gym was leaked on to the internet throwing his secret service men into confusion. Security sources believe the pictures of the President were taken as he worked in his 5-star Marriott hotel taking time out from his busy schedule while in Poland.
President Obama was in Warsaw on his current tour of Europe and arrived on Tuesday.

Discussions on various media sites have centered on why Obama seems to be finding it hard lifting the not too heavy weights, probably 10kg dumbbells, lol...

They should leave Mr. President alone jare...

Woman Posts Graphic Photos of Her Bruised Face After Domestic Violence By Boyfriend

37-year-old Angela Brower recently broke up with her boyfriend of 6 months after he became verbally and physically abusive towards her. On the day he came over to pick up his belongings, he attacked her, punched in the face so hard that she fainted.

When she regained consciousness, she says he then began beating her in the back of the head. She begged him to spare her life for her children, he stopped and she found a chance to run.

After she was released from hospital, Angela Brower posted graphic photos of her battered face on her Facebook page in an effort to spread awareness about domestic violence. She captioned the pictures, " Does this look like LOVE TO ANYONE OF YOU?"

TMZ Releases Another Justin Bieber Racist Video After Apology For a Previous N-word Joke

TMZ has released another video of Justin Bieber using the N-word multiple times, and again Justin Bieber has apologized. This new video was reportedly produced when Bieber was 14, and he says the N-word repeatedly, substituting it for girl in the lyrics for his single, "One Less Lonely Girl."

Justin Bieber also makes reference to joining the Ku Klux Klan and killing a N****. What makes this worse is the fact that mentor Usher co-wrote the song "Lonely Girl" with Bieber in 2009.




Justin Bieber issued his second apology for this latest video, telling The Sun newspaper he needed to "take responsibility" for his mistakes and "not let them linger".

Bieber said that facing up to the mistakes of his past was one of the hardest things he ever had to deal with. He said his actions were totally unacceptable and was worried that his millions of fans might think he was condoning racist behaviour.

"I just hope that the next 14-year-old kid who doesn't understand the power of these words does not make the same mistakes I made years ago," he said, adding: "At the end of the day I just need to step up and own what I did. Once again, I am sorry for all those I have let down and offended."

As well as apologising to the newspaper, Bieber also posted a photograph of Bible passages about forgiveness on to his Instagram account. The passage starts with the lines:

"When your sins weigh heavily upon you, come to Me. Confess your wrongdoing, which I know all about before you say a word. Stay in the Light of My Presence, receiving forgiveness, cleansing, and healing."

This new video's release comes just days after Bieber issued an apology for another video in which he was telling a racially-charged joke about African-Americans fearing chainsaws.

In the video posted also posted by TMZ, Bieber asks his friends, "Why are black people afraid of chainsaws?" and he replies that it's because the sound of a starting chainsaw sounds like, "Run N*gger, N*gger, N*gger!"

The pop star took to Twitter and released a statement, wanting his fans to understand he didn't know the power of his words back then and wants to move forward.


"I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake," the statement reads in part. "I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again."

Jaya Kelly, R Kelly's 14 Year Old Daughter Lives as a Boy, Mom Supports Him

14 year old Jaya Kelly is the youngest daughter of R Kelly and his ex-wife, actress Andrea Kelly and she has decided that she would rather live life as a boy than girl. The former celebrity couple have three kids together - Robert Kelly Jr., Joann Kelly, and Jaya Kelly. Jaya Kelly now goes by the name Jay Kelly and identifies with the term a Transguy or Female To Male Transgender.

According to SandraRose,

Jaya identifies as a "transguy" on her social media page. A transguy is a biological girl who is transitioning into life as a boy. Jaya, who calls herself Jay, dresses in boys clothing and emulates the testosterone fueled behavior of boys in her peer group.

Jay's mom, reality TV personality Andrea Kelly (Hollywood Exes), seems to be accepting of her daughter's condition. We don't know how dad R. Kelly feels since he is not a constant presence in his daughter's life.

Simi Osomo Bans From Her Wedding All Friends Who Missed Her Bachelorette Party

Simi Osomo is the fiancee of popular musician Dr. Sid and the couple are planning their wedding [see Introduction pics]. The soon-to-be-bride planned her bachelorette party for Las Vegas last weekend [see Venice proposal] but it seems most of the close friends invited didn't show up. Simi Osomo has therefore decided to ban those friends who didn't make the trip from attending her wedding ceremony.

Simi's anger stems from the fact that these friends not only did not come, they also didn't bother to inform her that they wont be attending, meaning her group plans, all paid upfront were for nought. She sent out an email tho those concerned about her feeling and how she did not wish to see them at her wedding.

Do you think Simi is going overboard, and taking a decision in the heat of anger that she will later regret?

It shouldn't be compulsory to put unnecessary expenses on your bridesmaids but at the same time, courtesy demands that the friends let her know in time if they cannot afford any of the cost of what a would-be-bride has planned for them.

Have you ever been caught in this sort of situation, where you decided not to pay for an ashebi, an expensive gift, or a destination wedding? How did that affect your relationship with the soon-to-be-newlyweds?

According to Linda Ikeji, a source close to Simi and her friends said,

"Yes, she invited a few close female pals but she wasn't paying for accommodation or flight and most of them didn't think it was worth it. It was a bachelorrette party, not a wedding and Vegas is an expensive place to visit if you didn't plan for it" 

Here is a copy of the email she sent to her friends

Hey,
I''m emailing in regards to my bachelorette party in Vegas. I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt that, out of courtesy and regard for me, you would have communicated to me or Titi in advance that you will not be able make the trip.

I communicated with you on different occasions beforehand and at no point did you tell me you couldn't make it or at least mention your reasons for not showing up. Titi spent a lot of time, effort and money planning the Vegas trip, with a lot on the itinerary already paid for, but you couldn't be considerate enough to respond to the final email confirming arrival dates and times saying you couldn't make it.

After careful thought of your actions towards me, I would like to let you know formally that you are not invited to Sidney and I's wedding. I would like to share it with the ones who truly care and support me - friends I can count on, who equally hold me in high regard.
