This news comes barely days leading up to the World Cup in Brazil. Bonsam says his aim is to prevent the Real Madrid striker from playing against Ghana in the group stages, and possibly beyond that. News broke last week of Ronaldo's ailment, triggering a hushed celebration from Ghanaian soccer fans who secretly dread the national team playing the Portuguese team with Ronaldo in striking position. A statement issued by the Portuguese FA on Wednesday, confirmed that the 2008 FIFA Player of The Year was diagnosed with tendonitis in his left kneecap area, and is also nursing a muscle problem in his left thigh. Tendonitis is an inflammation, irritation and swelling of tendons, and even though this is quite a common condition with athletes, Kwaku Bonsam claims he is responsible for that condition, and that no doctor can cure it until Ghana is clear from Ronaldo's reach. "I said it four months ago, that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World Cup, or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana, and the best thing I can do is to keep him out through injury." he said on the Ghana-based Angel FM in Kumasi. "I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called 'Kahwiri Kapam'"he added. "This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury, because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is his thigh, next day, and it is something else." Kwaku Bonsam paid a visit to SaharaTV some months ago while visiting New York. In that interview he claimed that some Pastors paid him visits at his shrine to seek spiritual help. Ronaldo missed the 0-0 game with Greece over the weekend, and is also likely to miss Portugal's World Cup warm-up matches against Mexico, and Ireland. It is however not clear if he will recuperate early on time for the World Cup. Ghana plays Portugal on June 26 in Brasilia, in their final Group G match. The couple have been in a relationship for over eight years before they finally tied the knot on Sunday, November 17, 2013. There has been a lot of talk and whispers about their marriage, the family issues and the fact that Lola is by far older than Peter Okoye has been trending. | Two 12yr old girls stab classmate 19 times to prove 'Slender Man' myth was real! Posted: 04 Jun 2014 08:03 AM PDT   But the little girls believed so much in it they planned their friends murder for months. Fortunately the girl didn't die but Morgan and Anissa are being tried as adults and face 65 years in prison.
Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier face attempted murder charges after attacking their friend, saying that they did so because they wanted to join the cult of the 'Slender Man' after reading about him online. The girls told investigators they believed the Slender Man was real and they wanted to prove it by slaughtering their friend after inviting her for a sleepover in the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha, Wisconsin. The two suspects the knife back and forth between them before one girl held the victim down and the other stabbed her 19 times. It is not clear which one held the victim down and which had the knife. One girl told detectives she regretted it and the other said she was sorry.
When the victim escaped in the midst of the assault, her assailants grabbed her and pulled her into the woods and told her to lay down and be quiet, hoping she would bleed out and die, according to court documents. 
The girls were found walking near an interstate highway shortly after their victim was rescued. They had a backpack full of snacks and a five-inch knife. Awww! Posted: 04 Jun 2014 07:34 AM PDT  Some women, who were on their way to the Ecobank in the Prayer City on Monday recounted their experiences in the hands of the security men at the main gate of the camp. They wondered why the church must "embarrass" women, who were on their way to a "bank and not the church auditorium. One of them, who spoke to a Punch correspondent on condition of anonymity on Monday, said, "See the loose trousers that I'm putting on. How does this offend anybody? You can imagine the embarrassment that I was subjected to at the gate on my way here (bank). "They asked why I must wear trousers to this place, as if I said I was going to the church auditorium. At least, they should have waited till I want to enter the church." When contacted, the Security Head of the church, who gave his name only as Mr. Lanre, told Punch that the road in question was not an access route for the public, adding that security challenges informed the barricade. "The so-called access road is illegal. It is part of the church property. If we decided to block it, I don't think that is business of anybody. Can you claim what does not belong to you? They (communities) even went ahead to stage an informal protest. Attacks on public places in the country have made it mandatory for organisations to beef up their security. "We are not under compulsion to share our property with the communities. Regarding your question on the social benefits the neighbouring residents derive from the church, I can't comment on that. But there are records of what we have done for them," he said. Commenting on the women on trousers, Lanre said the dress was inconsistent with the doctrine of the church. Unfortunately, that doesn't always happen, and here are the top 7 reasons why people fail. They give up It crushes me to see it - a human being full of potential…giving up. Suicide is the ultimate expression of giving up, and in my opinion it is life's most tragic event. We all have a place in this world, and suicide is giving up before you find it. Giving up isn't always so obvious. It can be the guy in the cubicle making 90k a year, who has been slowly drained of his vigour for life, accepting misery because it's bundled with a nice paycheck. It might be the popular girl in class, who secretly hates herself for being fake and not having any real friends, feeling hopelessly trapped by the facade she's created. Anybody you see could be giving up in some area of their life. If you've ever seen someone you love give up on their dream or struggle, even temporarily, you know of the sinking feeling you get. Giving up is the number one reason people fail because it is the only permanent failure. As long as you are actively trying, you have not failed yet. But once you give up, success will not arrive unexpectedly. You can have the worst strategy and focus on all of the wrong things, but as long as you keep trying, you will learn and have hope. That is an important truth. Failure happens; none of us escape unblemished. But for every single person who has ever lived, the secret of life is an unflinching, inspiring little phrase that has shaped nations, bought freedom, saved lives, and fulfilled so many dreams… Never Give Up. They don't care Obviously, if you don't care about doing it well, you won't. Apathy can infect any area of our lives, and when it strikes, it produces bucketfuls of failure. The scariest part of apathy is how contagious it is. You'll have it in one area of life, feel the resulting failure, and let it spread to another area. Or your apathetic friends will rub off on you. This is one more reason to experiment and try different things – to ward off apathy. The more excited about your life and the possibilities to explore, the better! Apathy can often lead to the worst-case scenario of human life. That worst-case scenario is next on the list as the number one reason for failure, and it's the saddest thing you'll ever see in a human being. Lesson: The more you care, the more you'll succeed. They're in the wrong place Sometimes failure is simply a matter of location – the wrong country, the wrong state, the wrong job, the wrong hobby. This is the tricky aspect of failure – knowing when to move on to something else. Not all people are capable of success in all things. I'm very fast and athletic, but I weigh 140 pounds and have a difficult time gaining weight due to my cheetah-style metabolism. I would literally get crushed in the NFL. There was a point in my life when I had to accept the reality that I wasn't built for professional football, my favourite sport. Anyone need a tissue? Oh come on! It's so sad! Right now, there is someone doing a mediocre job at work, who could be world class in another field. Is it you? This is a good reason to experiment and try different things – you might latch on to something and love it enough to succeed with it. Lesson: If a fish and a human switch places, they will both die of suffocation. Location matters. Excuses – they blame anyone and everything but themselves "If she didn't … If I wasn't living here… If the economy… If that hadn't happened…" Blaming others, while a lousy thing to do, isn't even the problem – it's the poisoned perspective it reveals! Do you know what it really means? Excuses and throwing blame are the same way of saying, "I'm not in control." Now that's scary. Everyone had a perfect excuse when the economy went into a recession in these past few years, but after telling everyone their perfect excuse, they were still in the same mess. Meanwhile, other people did well because they adapted. Excuses feel good temporarily, but don't be fooled, they can only hurt you. Accept full responsibility for where you are, and you'll have a chance to change it for the better. Lesson: You are the only variable you can control in this world. They're scared Fear must be cold, because it freezes people. Deer are famous for freezing right before a car hits them. Like that situation, freezing in place isn't a smart strategy in life. Progress paves the the way to success. If it takes 10,000 hours to master something (as Malcolm Gladwell suggests) and fear makes us do nothing, then fear needs to go. Face your fears head on and you'll find success right behind them. Overcoming fear is success in itself, and it opens the door for more. Lesson: Fear is failure's not-so-secret weapon. Bonus tip: Fear itself is afraid of the spotlight. Get into the habit of confronting it, and soon enough, it will be afraid of YOU. They're pessimists If you go in expecting to fail, you've got a great chance to do it. If I expected Deep Existence to wear me out, be unpopular, and waste my time, why would I write this? Pessimism leads to failure because it decreases the amount of effort a person will put forth. Success requires effort, which is fueled by the perspective that your efforts are not in vain. Lesson: You instinctively hesitate to invest in a sinking ship, even if you're the one sinking it. They try to climb a mountain before they even leave the house For 2013, my goal is to do one push-up per day. One push-up a day is easy, but it doesn't get you very far. The value comes from starting. In other words, I rarely stop at one push-up and I often get a solid 30 minute workout from it. I am never intimidated by the challenge, even when I'm sick or tired. This one tiny step helps me bridge the gap between couch and exercise. (Update: I've been going to the gym for months now, and it's because doing one push-up a day destroyed my resistance to exercising. Posted: 04 Jun 2014 07:34 AM PDT  Making the assertion during an interactive session with journalists in Lagos, at the weekend, the Secretary to the Borno State Government, Ambassador Baba Ahmed Jidda, said the state government had spent over N10 billion in supporting the military against Boko Haram. Jidda, however, claimed that no state, including Borno, got a dime as security vote from the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC). "Every state makes its own budget it intends to spend from its own normal allocations. For us in Borno, we have spent over N10 billion in the last three years to support security agencies in the counter-insurgency," he added. In addition to various provisions, he said the government was also accessible to security agencies, saying that no security chief in the state spent 10 minutes before having access to Governor Kashim Shettima, no matter the time of the day.
