A notorious terrorist and gang leader simply known as Mallam Husaini was shot dead today June 20th along the Jos-Bauch highway by the Nigerian military after his gang engaged soldiers in a shoot out after attacking a military convoy that was on an operational patrol between Jos and Bauchi.

In a press statement released today by the Defence Headquarters, Mallam Husaini had led a series of attacks on security personnel and led the attack on the Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad HQ in Abuja in Nov. 2012 and also led the attack on a military convoy moving from Lokoja to Kaduna where two soldiers were killed in January 2013.

After the shoot out, the military recovered the Ford bus used by the terrorists to operate, 8 Primed Improvised Explosive Devices, rifles, pistols and about 70 rounds of ammunition.

According to DailyPost ,the spokesman of the Enugu State Police Command, Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, disclosed that

Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity, located at Umudikwere, Ihe/Owere Nsukka in Enugu was not known until DSP Gloria Udoka and her operatives from the Anti Child Trafficking unit of the state criminal and investigation department, stormed the place based on the complaint they received from wife of the Pastor, Veronica Ngwu, bordering on sexual abuse of people in the ministry, which has brought about indiscriminate pregnancy among married and single women in the ministry.According to Veronica, her husband used to be a well known catechist in Nsukka Catholic.Some of the members' wives are now living with him after he impregnated all of them"

It was further disclosed that while acting under the same alleged will of God, the Pastor got his wife's niece pregnant..

Reacting to the allegations against him, the General Overseer stated that he has about five wives with thirteen children, apart from other concubines, who came as a result of the prophetic will of God.He claimed that he does not do anything with any married woman until full consent and agreement is reached between him and the husband in line with the directives of the holy Spirit.
Two of the women, who had left their husband and are now living with the General Overseer, Calista Omeje, and Assumpta Odo confirmed that they left their husband and went to the General Overseer based on the prophetic injunction to do the will of God.

Calista revealed that she is married to her husband with ten children, and that she was impregnated by Timothy, though the baby later died.She further disclosed that she also gave her daughter out to the General Overseer to be impregnated in fulfillment of will of God.

Abacha set to contest In Kano governorship!

The Presidency may have finally cleared the coast for Mohammed Abacha, the son of late General Sani Abacha, to join forces with pro Jonathan supporters and win back Kano State for Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, next year.

abachaCompetent sources told Vanguard that Wednesday's withdrawal of the N446.3 billion money laundering charge against Abacha was aimed at giving him a clean bill to be able to run as PDP gubernatorial candidate in the next election.

A close associate of the family admitted, yesterday, that the Abachas were very excited about the withdrawal of the case against Mohammed by the Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, and that he would likely proceed with his gubernatorial campaign programme.

Some well wishers were also said to have stopped by on Wednesday and yesterday to congratulate Abacha and sympathise with him over his lingering trial by the government.

A top source in Kano explained, yesterday, that the Presidency, which considers Mohammed Abacha as one of the most influential young politicians in Kano, had primed him to challenge the rising political clout of Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and secure victory for PDP in 2015.

Political structure

The Presidency, it was further learnt, believes that it was the solid political structure put in place by Mohammed Abacha that secured victory for Kwankwaso, who defected to APC last year.

The governor, who is said to be nursing a presidential ambition on APC's platform, is, however, facing severe opposition from the Presidency particularly, after installing the former Central bank of Nigeria, CBN's Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as Emir of Kano, against the wish of the Presidency and his party, which reportedly preferred a different person.

The feeling in the Presidency is that with the appointment of the former Kano governor, Ibrahim Shekaru as a minister and the quashing of the charge against Abacha, it would be possible for them to whittle Kwankwanso's political influence and make PDP take over Kano in the next election.

Campaign posters emerge

In preparation for the takeover of the mantle of power by Abacha, his giant, colourful and intimidating campaign posters have been placed by the side of the Kano State PDP Secretariat along New Court Road, Jedi Jedi Quarters of Kano metropolis in addition to opening of his campaign office along Audu Bako Way, also in the city.

Adorning the big office are the posters of Mohammed, President Goodluck Jonathan and the National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu.

A Kano politician described Mohammed Abacha as someone who enjoys a very "smooth rela-tionship and support of the youths of the town" and also has a deep understanding of the politics of the state.

The politician said: "Let me tell you, the junior Abacha enjoys the support of the people and also has a good working relationship with Shekarau."

Tragedy In Abuja As Mother Stabs herself to death, After Demolition Bulldozer Crushes Only Child! [PHOTO]

Protests broke out today along Kubwa Express Road in Galadima, a section of Abuja, after a bulldozer being used by a demolition squad of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) killed a child. The bulldozer was being used to demolish illegal structures built on a parcel of land that a source belongs to an unnamed "influential person." The child's mother then died shortly after by stabbing herself, the two tragedies triggering protests by squatters and onlookers in the area.

A source at the location told SaharaReporters that the "influential individual" who owns the land had connived with officials of the Federal Capital Territory by pretending that he was building an estate on the land.

Trouble started when the demolition team arrived in the village with a retinue of armed men from the Army, Navy, Air Force, mobile police and Civil Defense Corps. An eyewitness said that the demolition squad began demolishing structures without allowing the occupants to take anything from their houses. "They did not allow anybody to salvage their property before they began to pull down all the houses. What led to the riot was the killing of a small girl who was left in the house while her mother went to buy something from the market. Before she came back from the market, the bulldozer had already crushed her child with the house," said the source. He added: "When the mother of the girl arrived and saw her daughter in a pool of blood, she grabbed a knife and stabbed herself. She eventually died too."

Infuriated by the two tragic deaths, residents of the community barricaded the lanes of the express road, making it impossible for motorists to ply the roads. The angry mob set up bonfires and smashed the windscreen of any vehicle that attempted to pass. The protests caused a heavy traffic gridlock along the road as many people abandoned their vehicles on the road.

A source told SaharaReporters that the demolition team hurriedly left the scene for fear of being lynched by the irate mob. One of the residents whose structure was demolished told SaharaReporters that the FCT authority had given the residents a six-month ultimatum to vacate. The deadline expired in March, but the resident condemned the government's failure to offer any compensation or resettlement plan.

A similar demolition squad recently went to a village called Jahi near Shoprite in Abuja to pull down illegal structures, but was resisted by the residents.

'How Boko Haram is Forcefully Recruiting Cameroonian Boys' – Report

Fresh report indicates that militants of the dreaded Boko Haram group snatch young boys in Cameroon, from across the boarder with Nigeria, to force them into the sect.

According to Daily Mail, numerous villages in the area were cleared out and schools torched by the terrorists even despite the presence of elite troops of Battalion D'Intervention Rapide (B.I.R).

Speaking with Sky News, residents said Boko Haram raided villages during the daytime to snatch boys.

One of the boys narrated how he refused to join the terrorists, causing substantial tension, however he managed to escape from them.

While Nigeria accuses Cameroon of being unable to prevent the insurgents from crossing the border and thus letting them hide in the neighbouring country, the spokesperson of Cameroon's Defence Ministry Lieutenant Colonel Badjeck claims speaking with Sky News:

"They [Boko Haram] are not in Cameroon. Why would we allow that? This is bad for Cameroon. We are suffering too at the hands of Boko Haram."

It would be recalled that more than two months have passed since the abduction of over 250 Chibok school girls. The feared sect claimed responsibility for the kidnap 3 weeks later stating that they would sell the girls in the market.

Numerous experts alleged that the students might have been splitt into groups and relocated to the neighbouring countries. Later Cameroon and Chad claimed they might block the main routes said to be used by insurgents.

Despite the international support in the find-and-rescue operation, the abduction victims still remain in captivity.

In a shocking footage, a Romanian couple drowned while people laughed and filmed them, doing nothing to help.
The incident which happened over the weekend saw 47-year-old Calin Neagu and his 45-year-old wife Dana trying to cross over the rain-swollen Jiu river in southern Romania.They were in two carts being dragged by a horse when the current was too high for the horse to cope and the horse struggling to drag the load across the river, came to a halt. A fisherman watching rushed to help them by beating the horse hoping it would move them before the current swept them away but it didn't budge ..As the three of them struggled to stay balanced, an unknown group filmed the incident, finding it funny.
A voice was heard saying:

"She is drowning man. Haha.'..Another adds,'Are they drowned man?'.

After the couple finally sink into the water, the final words of the people filming the video are:

'Man, where are they?'

Local police said that divers recovered the couple's bodies from the water several hours later, and are now investigating their deaths.The fisherman who entered the water to help the couple survived , as did the horse.

HELP!!! My House Girl Is Tempting Me, What Should I Do?

I will simply go straight to the point, as I would not want to give very explicit details about myself. This is for some obvious reasons. My wife is very sharp, I mean, she is such an intelligent woman and can easily trace this true confession to me. For the fact that I love her so much, I cannot let a thing fall in-between us. That is why I have kept this as top-secret till today; but I will have to let this out of the bag.

I'm not oblivious of the fact that most issues of this nature are blamed on the men whom most of us see as womanizers; but mine is a different thing entirely. I'm not a womanizer. I have tried everything possible to make sure that this girl-my house girl leaves my house, but my wife will always insist she stays.

I'm a pastor, but I also work as a civil servant. I would have loved to write further about where I live, but for the same reason why I can't mention my name, I can't tell you where I'm writing from.

This young lady was brought to my house by my wife sometimes in 2010, and had just completed her secondary education last year. She is supposed to pick up a form for her higher education because she is related to my wife; distant relation, sort of.

Frankly, she has been very good, and has been taking care of my only daughter since my wife put to bed late last year. Her presence is a big relief to me and wife because we are both very busy people. My wife works with a bank, and sometimes come home around 8-9pm.

Lately, this young girl has summoned courage to seduce me; to be sincere, she is tempting me.

I often return to the house ahead of my wife. Sometimes, because of hold-up and other issues, I will get in around 5-6pm. She started by running to embrace me with her transparent-short gown to welcome me each time I knock, on arrival. I was shocked the very day she did that. I felt so embarrassed. "Even if I had traveled to space…hun! This one is just too much… hun!" I soliloquized in my bedroom after she had dropped my office bag and ran out to get my food. This continued for 3 weeks. Sometimes, her boobs will just slip out of her 'top' and she will simply apologize. My wife has never met her on that gown as she wears another cloth when it's almost time for my wife to return. I have developed double minds about her. I have had different evil thoughts since this whole thing started. The one that happened last was the way she sat facing me, with her legs wide opened. I left the food that I was eating and walked to the bathroom to do nothing in particular. I had thought she would adjust as soon as I returned, but she didn't budge. I think I fell into her trap finally that day. I almost had it with her when I grabbed her, and she jumped at me. We started that regrettable romance before God intervened with the sharp cry of my baby. That was what saved the day.

The next day, I had told my wife that we should send her away, but she vehemently refused to accept my suggestion. She had asked me to give some reasons why we should send her away, and I had told her that she was getting so stubborn and lazy; hence, she is as good as no House-help.

My wife who claimed she had never experienced that had accused me of formulating things against the lady. She told me that I wanted her out of the house because I had seen that she will soon secure admission into the higher institution, and I will soon begin to pay for her school fees. I couldn't tell her the truth, because something tells me it will be disastrous. I just felt I could handle the matter in the most professional way. But right now, things have gone out of hands since the past 2 weeks. I have done virtually everything that can be considered dirty with her except that I have not done it with her yet. What's keeping me from doing it is my conscience and for the fact that I can't do that in my matrimonial home.

That sin will be so grievous, I know. She had asked me repeatedly last week if she can meet me in any of the hotels around town this weekend since my wife will be around then. She has just Saturday and Sunday to take care of her hair and visit friends, and she wants to use that opportunity to have me all to herself. Now, I'm contemplating on this issue. All I need is your advice; Saturday is just 1 day from today, and I can't make up my mind on what to do. I love my wife, but I think I'm becoming so foolish in the name of being faithful. Please, tell me; should I do it or not? It has gotten to the level where I cannot tell my wife the truth because she won't even believe, since I had told her a different story before. She will see it as blackmail. Your reaction will either encourage me or discourage me, even though my mind beats faster, and something tells me to do it. Should I?

Stockton Police Department, California posted his mugshot on their facebook page..Instead of hailing the Police for nabbing a criminal,Jeremy Meeks, a 30 year old convicted felon's picture got over 44 thousand likes and 13,000 comments because of how handsome he looks..

They say he is the most beautiful criminal ever seen and the mugshot looks more like an ad campaign.Jeremy who is already a previously convicted felon was arrested for illegally possession of loaded firearms and criminal street gang activity..He is being held on $900,000 bail but many commenters are talking of raising the funds to set him free.The dudes are not finding it funny with one writing

Lagos State University, LASU to reopen June 23rd! [DETAILS]

The management of the Lagos State University, LASU, has announced the resumption of academic activities in the school. The school re-opens June 23rd after it was shut down following weeks of students' protest over increase in school fees. The school fees have since been reduced.

Below is a statement released by the school's spokesperson, Kayode Sutton;

"Sequel to the Lagos State government's agreement to the reduction of the Lagos State University School Fees by 34% to 60% across different faculties, the university management has come up with the precise amount to be paid by students in all departments and faculties. In a swift compliance to this agreement, the Governing Council of the University has approved new school fees which now ranges between N76,250.00 for a final year student in the Arts Department (49.3% reduction), and N158, 250.00 for a 200 level Engineering and Medical (Direct entry) student.

"In the new school fees as approved by the Council, a 100 level student in the Adebola Adegunwa School of Communication will now pay N103, 250.00, and a 200 level student (Direct Entry) will be required to pay same fee, while a 200 level returning student pays N88,250.00. For the College of Medicine, a fresh student is expected to pay N115, 750.00, ditto, a final year medical student, while a 200 level (Direct Entry) student in the same College pays N158,250.00, representing a 36.4% reduction.

"The approval also stipulated that a 100 level Engineering student pays N115,750.00 , while the returning students in 200_500 level will pay N143,250.00, N143,250.00, N131,750.00 and N106,750.00 respectively. New entrants (100 level) in the Faculty of Management Sciences and a final year (500 level) student will now pay N103,250.00, N113,250.00, N98,250.00, N98,250.00, N86,750.00 and N86,750.00 respectively" the statement read.

Tiwa Savage, South African Afro-pop duo Mafikizolo and Ghanaian hip hop artist Sarkodie will perform as part of the "Music Around the Globe" presentation on Saturday 28 June. The three artists are all nominated in the "BET Awards" 'Best International Act: Africa' category.

This will be the first time that Mafikizolo and Tiwa Savage have performed in the United States, and the announcement follows their wins at the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) earlier in the month in the 'Best Group' and 'Best Female'categories respectively. Sarkodie also took home a MAMA for 'Best HipHop'.

In addition, Nigerian hip hop superstar Ice Prince, who won the 2013 BET Award for 'Best International Act: Africa', will also take to the stage on Sunday 29 June: he will also present the award for the same category to this year's winner at the BET Awards.

This is the first time international acts have performed as part of the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE since the introduction of international BET Award categories, 'Best International Act: Africa' and 'Best International Act: UK' in 2010.

England must hope that Italy defeat Costa Rica this evening to have any chance of progressing to the second round, and Italy striker Mario Balotelli has revealed his demands should his team prevail - a kiss (on the cheek) from Her Majesty the Queen.

A Costa Rica victory, or a draw in the match between the teams at 5pm tonight, and then England are out.

The former Manchester City striker, who currently plays for AC Milan, tweeted immediately after England lost 2-1 to Uruguay:

"If we beat Costa Rica I want a kiss, obviously on the cheek, from the UK Queen."

The 23-year-old, who scored the winner against England last week, appears a calmer and more relaxed figure than he has been recently – the only real Balotelli story to have appeared from the Italian training camp has been of him filling the Italy page in his World Cup stickers book with pictures of himself.

"I am approaching this competition with a great peace of mind," he said. "I don't feel any pressure because it is not Mario's World Cup, it is Italy's World Cup."

Sad! Football Stars Yaya & Kolo Toure’s Younger Brother Passes away at 28! [PHOTO]

Ibrahim Toure, The younger brother of Ivory Coast duo Yaya and Kolo, has died.

The Ivory Coast FA confirmed in a statement that the 28-year-old, who was also a professional footballer, died yesterday in Manchester.

"Kolo and Yaya Toure just heard about the death of their young brother, Toure Oyala Ibrahim. The entire Ivorian delegation want to show their support to the players," the statement read.

"The Ivory Coast FA president and the executive committee have announced to the entire family of Ivorian football the death of Toure Oyala Ibrahim, the younger brother of Toure Kolo Abib and Toure Yaya Gnegneri, which happened on the 19th of June in Manchester (England).

"In such a sad situation, the players from the Ivory Coast national team, and the entire delegation here in Brazil, show their support to the Toure brothers and their whole family. The president of Football Ivory Coast Federation and the executive committee ask Ivorians for their prayers."

Ibrahim Toure played as a striker for clubs including Egypt's Misr Lel Makasa and most recently Lebanese side Al Safa.

The cause of death has not been confirmed.

Yaya Toure, who plays for Manchester City, has started in both of Ivory Coast's World Cup matches, while Kolo, who plays for Liverpool, has been an unused substitute. Their next match is against Greece on Tuesday.

According to Toyin who posted the photo...."her husband refused to give her some money to make her hair at the salon, instead he chose to relax the hair for her and she is seriously loving and enjoying it'...how cute! Don't you just love these two?
