Kelly Rowland Confirms Pregnancy - She Will Be Having a Baby Boy!

Kelly Rowland just confirmed on Instagram that she is pregnant and it seems she will be having a baby boy! She shared the picture above with the caption, "I'll be stuntin like my daddy....."

Former Model Claims Jay Z Loved and Wanted to Cheat With Her While Married to Beyonce

Last year, a female rapper claimed she had the chance to have an affair with Jay Z, but turned it down as she is a fan of Beyonce, his wife. Liv wrote a rap song about this alleged time in her life in which she detailed how the superstar approached her on the set of a commercial and they 'connected'.

'I could have messed with Jay, but got respect for Bey,' she raps. According to her, this all happened when Beyonce and JayZ were newly married, so at least 6 years ago.

Well, Liv is still selling her story, and along with reality star Casey Cohen, Miss Belgium Claudia Sheelen, and video model Shenell Scott , she is linked to Jay Z in this week's issue of Life & Style. Liv posted a photo of the magazine on her Instagram page and said her part of the story was 100% correct. She said she could've slept with Jay Z if she wanted to.

Liv's claims last August as reported by Hollywood Life;

LIV doesn't give an exact date for when this alleged rendezvous occurred in her August 3 interview with PNC Radio, but her story does have other in-depth details. The up and coming female rapper states that Jay Z approached her in a club and told her she was "his favorite female rapper." According to LIV, Jay then told her that he would "call her whenever he comes to town" and that he wanted to make her his "in-town chick."

LIV explains that that proposal was as far as it went. She says she turned him down because she respects Beyonce and doesn't want to move ahead in her career by sleeping with famous rappers.
But for someone who claims she doesn't want to get famous by being a mistress, she sure isn't being shy telling people about the run-in. Besides giving this interview, LIV also calls Jay Z out in a new song! In her track "The Invasion: Part 2″ she raps:

I could have messed with Jay, but got respect for Bey. We were on the same set of a commercial, see, I was sitting by myself, and he sat next to me. I was handling it well, and he was shocked to see, I was getting up to leave, he sent his guards to me. Excuse me Miss, do me a favor, put your number on this piece of paper. When Jay get settled and he'll call you later. I know most chicks would have took the bait, but then those chicks be the ones I hate. I wonder to this day if I'd have gave it up would it be me on stage throwing it up!

This picture of 25-year-old Karlesha Thurman breast feeding her baby at graduation has gone viral and is sparking controversy across America! For the moms out there, how do you feel about this? I think the mom did what many moms would do, her baby got fussy and she breastfed her.

What does it matter if she also happened to be at her college graduation and took a picture? She posted it on a FB page promoting breastfeeding and did not ask for it to go viral!

Well, the picture is causing a strong controversy amongst people who have strong opinions on breastfeeding. Some people applaud her, while others are outraged.

Karlesha Thurman, who graduated with her accounting degree from California State University, Long Beach posted the photo of her breastfeeding her 3-month-old daughter, Aaliyah, on Facebook page, "Black Women Do Breastfeed" to show support for a woman who wrote about getting dirty looks for breastfeeding in public.

Little did she know that she would soon be the center of the subject, with people from both ends having a say on how they felt about her photo. Some went as far as to call Thurman "weird" for breastfeeding her child at her college graduation. Thurman, however, couldn't disagree more. She says to Today that she doesn't really care.

"I was proud of the fact that not only did I graduate but that I got to share the moment with the one person who is the most important to me and that is my daughter,"

"I did it to show it's natural, it's normal, there's nothing wrong with it,"

I didn't even know there was a big controversy about breastfeeding in public until all of this happened."

Black Women Do Breastfeed reposted Thurman's photo to show their full support and encouragement, with the caption:

"Congratulations, mama!!!! Giving her daughter more gifts than one! Isn't this beautiful?! #normalizebreastfeeding,"

Many other women soon took to the page posting their words of support and addressing the backlash Thurman received for her picture. Thurman also had thanks for them

"Thank you, I found out I was pregnant my last year of college, had my daughter one week into my last semester, she was my motivation to keep going, so me receiving my BA was OUR moment, so glad I captured the moment and so glad you shared it with the world so thank you again"

I think she's one brave lady. Where do you stand on breastfeeding in public, I totally support it. Could she have covered up, yes, but did Rihanna cover up? No. So why should she?

In fact, breastfeeding is a more natural use of the breasts than sexual titilation of audiences.

Yaya Dacosta Set To Play Whitney Houston in New Biopic, And She's Nigerian!

Yaya Dacosta is set to play the role of late music legend Whitney Houston in a new Biopic to be directed by famous actress, Angela Bassett. Angela acted alongside Whitney Houston in Waiting to Exhale and both women were also friends. The movie will be Angela Basset's directorial debut, and it would be aired on the Lifetime TV Network.

The untitled TV-movie, according to TVLine which first reported the details, will chronicle Houston's rise to musical stardom and her always volatile relationship with singer-songwriter Bobby Brown.

However, we may not see the movie if Whitney Houston's family have anything to do with it. The family feels she deserves more than just a television movie. Whitney's sister-in-law, told TMZ: 'Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie. If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening.'

Whitney's estate has reportedly already informed Lifetime of their displeasure and is said to be threatening a lawsuit if the network refuses to cancel production.

But we're hoping here on RML that the family comes to an agreement with Angela Basset and Lifetime to go ahead with the movie. Why? Because we're huge fans of Whitney Houston and also, Yaya Dacosta is a Nigerian! I bet you didn't know that :)

Viral Video Shows What Happens When You Boil Coke

Coca Cola - mineral in Nigeria, or soda in the US, is sweet, addictive, has loads of sugar and you've probably heard it can be put to many uses, including washing the toilet. I think. But what happens when you boil coke? Well someone has done the job, and the outcome is not nice at all. Infact, it is downright disgusting, makes me think I'll never drink coke again.

The YouTube video by Crazy Russian Hacker gives a glimpse into what you ingest by consuming a liter of cola, and has gone viral since posted it under the title, What Happens When You Boil Coke?

Here's what he did: he takes a pot, places it on the stove, and places some cola in the pot. He turns on the heat and little by little the water from the soda evaporates as the soda boils. What is left is a black, sticky, slimy mess. It looks like tar sitting in the bottom of the pot.

The American Heart Association states that there are 180,000 deaths per year that could be linked to drinking soda and the sugars in them. Corresponding figures from Nigeria is not readily available but there are indications that this may also be on the high-side going by the sheer number of people who take soft drinks daily.

Bitter Husband Puts Cheating Ex-wife’s Wedding Dress Up For Sale With Insulting Advert

A Sydney husband hopes to get his revenge on his cheating ex-wife by selling her wedding dress on Gumtree with a scathing advert that includes references that she's an 'adulterous, deceitful, double-crossing and traitorous soulmate' who took half of his worldly possessions when they divorced.

His ad went live on Gumtree yesterday and has already racked up more than 60,000 visits and a few bids with the highest at $300. The man is not asking for much though I doubt any woman genuinely about to get married would buy that dress.


If you can't read the advert from the picture above, some lines from the man, who says the ex slept with one of his closest friends two years into their marriage, reads in part;

'Due to be married soon? Not planning on staying faithful? Want to sleep with one of your soon-to-be husband's closest friends? Then THIS is the wedding dress for you!

'This stunning, tuille swathed, ivory bridal gown has a proven track record of producing an adulterous, deceitful, double-crossing and traitorous soulmate.

'A one of a kind garment designed by Benedict Arnold, believed to be derived from the very cloth Judas Iscariot himself wore to the Garden of Gethsemane to betray the only son of God – Jesus Christ.'

It goes on to read that the dress offers legal entitlement to your husband's worldly possessions.

It adds: 'Cosmetically, the garment is in better condition than the marriage – not looking for much. Make an offer.'

Tiwa On The Front Page of SA Paper After MAMAs Win, Replies Wanted Critics

The Times of South Africa put Tiwa Savage on their front page in an article titled "Too hot to be stopped by savage backlash" which is obviously a play on her name. They acknowledged her win at the MAMAs and her nod to her supportive husband while she defends her choice to make the Rated 18 miusic video for her song, Wanted.

The article talked about how Tiwa "has copped lots of flak of late", and how she "had been called all sorts of names, even getting a patronising letter from a Nigerian housewife. Below is what Tiwa, who is not surprised that the video has been banned from airing on most stations, said,


"[Being sexual] is something we're comfortable with behind closed doors but very uncomfortable with in public," she said. "But, fortunately, as artists we have the platform to do things that a lot of people might not be able to do. I felt like I was at a stage in my life at which I was very comfortable in my skin.

"I'd worked on my body and I wanted to do a video that was pushing the envelope - that would have people talking and open up a conversation."

"I feel that while being a role model I also need to explore my life as a woman and target the adult market.

"There are a lot of people who love the video and are inspired. You learn you can't please everyone, so you do what feels right at the time."

"A lot of times you look at an artist and you think what they do on stage is their lifestyle, but just because we portray a certain thing on stage doesn't mean when we get off the stage we sleep with every guy we see.

"It's just a persona. I don't think anyone can look at my life and see any scandal.

"That's what parents should be teaching their children. Whether Tiwa Savage does it or not, they will have access to certain things that are bad, so we need to teach them how to decide between good and bad."

Couple Love - Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the new Emir of Kano With His Wife Saadiya

Sa'adiya Lamido Sanusi, née Ado Beyero, is the daughter of the recently deceased Emir of Kano, a princess and now a queen as her husband, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is crowned the new Emir of Kano. Sanusi Lamido is a grandson of the Emir before Ado Bayero, meaning that the two are cousins. Kissing cousins, you could say. The couple have known each other since they were little and have been married for 26 years.

Parents Arrested For Their Obese 11-Yr-Old Son Who Weighs Almost 100kg

Some parents in the UK with an 11-year-old boy who, at five feet tall, reportedly weighs 95Kg or 210 pounds have been arrested for letting him become obese. Yes, that's right. They were not given a talking to, or told to get counseling. They were not given a free gym membership for the child. They were arrested by the police on suspicion of child neglect and cruelty.

The doctors who monitor the boy's health and the teachers at the specialist school he attends had raised an alarm earlier, and when his weight reached 95kg, they alerted the police. The parents were then taken to a police department for case investigation.



But the parents say it's not their fault, they claim their genes are to blame. Do you agree with the parents that some people can be genetically predisposed to be obese and easily gain weight? I see their point but I think almost 100kg at just 11years old is a bit extreme.

The Independent reports;

The 49-year-old and his wife, 43, were both questioned under caution after doctors at the Queen Elizabeth hospital contacted police after treating the boy twice in March.

The pair were subsequently visited by social workers and agreed to a letter of intent over the 11-year-old's care.  If they fail to comply, legal proceedings will reportedly be started to take the child into care.

But the pair insisted they were trying to keep their son at a healthy weight and encouraged him to take regular exercise.

They said they had been threatened with legal action earlier this year and had signed up to a voluntary plan to address their son's weight issues, with little success.

"The idea that they could take away my son scares me so much. I'm nothing without my kids," his mother told the newspaper.

"I'm chubby and the whole of my husband's side of the family is big. Its genetics – you can be genetically fat."

And his father added: "He's always been big. He was born with shovels for hands and spades for feet. Everyone on my side of the family is big. There's nothing we can do about it. I only eat occasional kebabs. Our son's favourite snack is steamed broccoli – and he's still big."

Football Fans Unhappy With Joseph Yobo's Performance at World Cup Friendly Matches

Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo made the national team's final list released by head coach, Stephen Keshi, last week for the FIFA World Cup which begins Thursday in Brazil. However, not everyone is happy about that development, and his performances at the recent friendly matches have not helped his case, especially the Nigeria-USA match last Saturday. Fans took to Twitter to voice their displeasure.










It has also emerged that "real politics and intrigues" played a major role before Joseph Yobo, who currently plays defense for Fenerbahce of Turkey, could make the final list.

According to Tribune's Sports pages;

Yobo's name was conspicously missing in the list released on Monday morning, adding that by evening when the final list was about to be submitted to FIFA, the player's name had found its way back into the list.

The source who pleaded not to be mentioned told Tribunesport by phone from America that the technical crew, headed by Keshi was prevailed upon by top officials in Nigeria football circles, who insisted that Yobo must make the list having been serving the country since 2001.

According to the source, the officials had argued that Keshi too was in a situation similar to Yobo's 20 years ago when Nigeria won the African Cup of Nations in Tunisia, months before the Super Eagles made their maiden World Cup appearance in USA. The 'Big Boss' also attended the Mundial that same year with the Eagles.

Tribunesport recalls that Keshi was not wholly fit for the 1994 Nations Cup, where he made a cameo appearance on Nigeria's way to winning the trophy.

"He was reminded of this and was told that he should realise that Yobo is the longest serving national team player, and that the only thing left for him was the 2014 World Cup and his desire to take his number of international matches to 100. Politics played a major role in his (Yobo's) inclusion in the team because he did not make the squad initially, but by evening, when high-level politicking had taken place, his name had been included," the source said.

It was also disclosed to Tribunesport that some 'senior' players in the team also lobbied for the inclusion of their captain. The source, however refused to mention the names of those 'senior' players to Tribunesport.
