James Packer and David Gyngell, both media moguls, have been friends since childhood, and Mr Gyngell was best man at Mr Packer's wedding to wife Erica.But last year Mr Packer, 46 announced that he had separated from his wife, and allegedly began a relationship with Ms Kerr, Orlando Bloom's ex-wife
Mr Gyngell, 48, apparently confronted his friend outside his Sydney home, and the pair began rowing about Mr Packer's treatment of his estranged spouse.The two men, who both own extensive entertainment businesses, had to be separated by bodyguards, and were later fined $500 (£280) each for 'offensive behaviour'.
Mr Gyngell's wife Leila McKinnon today poked fun at the controversy, comparing it to the fight between Beyoncé's wife Jay-Z and her sister Solange Knowles.

A friend allegedly spilled the beans to Mailonline. The source claims Solange lashed out at Jay Z because of his repeated promises to help boost her music career.

In this interview with E24-7 MAGAZINE`s, the sultry actress talked about her secret marriage and other issues relating to her and the industry, Nollywood.
When did you actually come into movies?
I came into the industry in 2004 and registered in Lagos, but my family relocated to the east, Enugu.
What prompted your coming to Nollywood?
I loved the art. I watched a couple of movies and became interested. Then I felt it was something I could do. Though prior to that, I would not say I had the childhood dream of been an actress for I actually wanted to be a lawyer. But along the line, I felt been an actress would be okay for me. So in 2004, I decided to start practising my dream.
Coming from a Christian home, was there anyone that tried to stop you from acting?
For some reasons, I have family and friends that trusted me and my judgment. They did not raise eyebrows when I told them what I wanted to do. They trusted that I can tell good from bad, bad from good. They gave me their full support, not even questioning me at all.
Who was Queen as a teen?
Queen as a teen grew up in a strict Catholic home. My upbringing was very strict. I had disciplinarians as parents. It was not much fun because my mum was a teacher and for that, she did not believe in wasting away time. She believes that all your time should be put into good use. If we were not studying, we were in the church. I did not really have the normal funky upbringing. As a teen, I was quite preserved, scared of my parents and my parents made sure I did what I was supposed to do. It was a strict Catholic upbringing.
What was your education like?
I attended Airforce Primary School, Enugu for my primary education, and I had my secondary education at Queens School, Enugu. I also attended theNnamdi Azikiwe University, Okar. It was basically the same thing; nothing fun about it, apart from the fact that I have wonderful sisters from a godly family and because we grew up as friends, loving each other.
How did you fit into the life of an actress when you have this quiet reverend sister kind of look and life?

The industry is an all comers affair; you find every kind of people in the industry. So when you come in, you create what you want for yourself. Initially, my upbringing was like a hindrance. But my look actually got me the attention I needed before I even started getting roles. This is because when I came, a lot of people started having protective instincts toward me. Because they felt I did not fit in, they took it upon themselves to act like guards. They felt I should be somewhere else. In fact, at a moment I started asking myself if I was really cut out for the industry. But because I have passion for it, I decided to stay. But one way or the other, I would say it helped me a lot. Then again, it was also a hindrance; because of my looks they were not giving me roles. They almost ostracized me. They used to say that I can do it, but my looks would not suit it. They kept on hammering on the looks issue. But thank God, it is a thing of the past now.
What were the other challenges you faced at the beginning?
There were a lot of challenges. There were a lot of very good actresses as well who all wanted the same thing, and were willing to do anything for what they wanted. But because of the way I grew up, I was willing to go through all the challenges of audition.
Have you ever experienced s*xual harassment in Nollywood?
I did not really have that. I think for some reasons even when they had it in mind they could not say it to me. The only thing that happens after such is that they would not say it to me and they would also not give me the job. Then, I will keep wondering why I could not get the job..
How have you been able to stay out of controversies so far?
People always say that Chioma Akpota and I are the two actresses in Nollywood that have been able to keep far from controversies. I always allow people to be the judge. All I know is that I live my life the way I ought to live it.
What is your romance life like?
I am going to say this now, but I do not know if I would actually want you to publish it. It is that I am married! This is a crazy job; my home is where I find peace and that is why I do not like exposing it to people. This is because it is a crazy world out there and that is where I get my peace. I go home and I am treated like a wife, like a woman and I feel like a normal human being. That is why I keep it away from my job, my film life. Because I am married, when it comes to men, I stay far.
Were you planning to keep your marriage life from the public until death, like Goldie did?
Yes, but she has her reason for doing that. I do not like those who expose their marriages. If your home is private to you, you shut it down. But when you are through with this one you shut down your business life and try to enjoy your quiet family life. I do not blame her. I understand what she did. On the Big Brother Africa thing, for me she might have acted it. She wanted to win the money. She has a home somewhere. I do not blame her for anything she did. That was the entertainment part of her. Maybe that was why she wanted to keep her home safe from prying eyes so that she can go there, switch off her phone, her business life; that is what I do. Your home is where nobody is looking at you as a star, where you do some things and your husband says, 'excuse me; I am the man of the house.'
When are you producing a movie like your colleagues are doing presently?
I have already started thinking on that. But I think I would want to go solely into producing movies not directing. That will be this year and there is a script, cast and money for that already.
Do you plan to retire someday from movies and become a Reverend Sister?
No, I do not love to be a Reverend Sister. Though I actually thought I was going to be a Nun. And then I could remember the first time I went for an audition and got introduced, the lady said, 'who brought this girl that looks like the Virgin Mary?' I laughed. But along the line I knew I would not make a good Reverend Sister because I knew I wanted a family of my own. If I be a Nun I knew I would not have that. I knew I just love having a family. So I dropped it and faced reality. So, there is now no going back.
Why do actresses live more flamboyant lives than actors, is it that they get more paid?
I do not agree that actresses live more flamboyant lives than actors; it is not true. But it looks like that because the men have families to cater for as the bread winners of their homes. They pay school fees and house rents when a single actress will use all that money to buy a car or so. In that case, she would be seen as living a more flamboyant live. That does not mean she makes more money than her male counterparts. When you check, almost all our actors are married with kids and having home responsibilities to attend to. But a lot of actresses are married to guys that can take care of them and whatever they make is an extra income for them to live flamboyant lives. That is how I see it.

The transition from playing to coaching, what informed it?

I'm just gonna summarize it because it's a long story. But for me, being on this stage right now is about my daughter. She was in high school and her school wanted a coach and the principal was making an announcement to the students – I need a coach – to coach the soccer team and if you have anybody, let him call me or come to the office so we can talk about it. She came home and said dad, I think you would wanna coach my school? I said I'm not a coach. She said no, but you played professional football in Europe. I said yes, but that does not make me a coach. She said yes, they are 13-years-old, 12-years-old, just like me. Hey! I am not a coach; I played, yes; but I am not a coach. Those are two different things. We argued back and forth. You know how these American kids behave and she went ahead the next day to tell the principal that my dad played professionally for years; maybe you wanna talk to him. So, the principal called me: Mr. Keshi, can I see you in my office, please? And I went. But then I was in school. So, I had to juggle my school, work and coaching these kids and already I had said I was tired of football; I just wanted leave football and do something else. But then I came back to football through her and it's even more beautiful now than playing. So, that's how I came back to coaching and that's it.

Alright! What makes a good coach?

You see, I cannot speak for all coaches. I can only speak for myself. What makes a good coach, I think, is listening to your players, listening to your assistant coaches, having the right drills, the right trainings, because that is gonna make or break the team, because if the players are not stimulated with the drills, the training drills that you are giving to them; after 30 minutes they just fall apart, they will say there's no fun. So, every training session – that's what people don't understand; they think coaching is just to gather the players on the field and start kicking and running, no! You have to have something that will stimulate the players, make them wanna do this stuff and take it from there. And they have to believe in you.

What makes a good player?

A good player does not necessarily have to be a skillful player. A good player for me; my own opinion, is a player that gives 110 percent in training sessions, that is learning from his team mate's mistake and does not repeat the same mistake. When the coach is correcting James, he is learning from that. Another thing that makes a good player is also by talking, asking questions; asking the coach: what am I doing wrong? When I was playing, there was a time I would just listen as the coach was pointing out all the players not doing things right. He never called me and I had to get up one day and say coach, you didn't talk about me; I need to know how I'm also doing and he will say oh, no, no, no, you are doing fine. I will say no, I cannot be perfect (Smiling), it's not possible, I must be doing something stupid. But you see, to be a very good player, for me, is the simplicity of the game. Being smart – because you need to be smart. Your I. Q has got to be high and once you have the I.Q, you have the E.Q and you are ready to learn, you will be good.

What makes a good skipper, a good captain?

A good captain is…he's just a leader. It's like you being a father of the nation. A good skipper is someone that has to come last.

What is the costliest mistake that any footballer can make?

Costliest mistake any footballer can make? You know we have the back men in the game, we have the front players, the midfield, defence. Mostly, people see the defence line. When they make a mistake, that's where they hammer most. But when the mistake comes upfront, they don't see it. But this is where it generates from and if the upfront cannot stop it and it ends up in goal, they think the defenders are not good or the goal keeper is not good. It's about the team.

What is the greatest thing that being a footballer has done for you?

This is it right here (Being honoured by celebrated designer, Mudi Enajemo).

What has playing football not done for you?

I don't think there is.

What do you know now that you didn't know before as a coach?

(Thinks) – I can't remember anything right now.

What did you enjoy most as a footballer?

What I enjoyed most was when I made people smile, when I put joy in people's faces and I just go home and I sleep and I smile and say yes, I just made some people happy.

Can you remember the most memorable goal that you scored?

Uh! I cannot pick one out because I think God gave me some few goals that were wonderful. But I remember the goal I scored in Strasbourg that brought Strasbourg from Division II to Division I and the whole of Strasbourg went crazy; a goal that I scored from about 4 yards and the whole state was men! It was a festival for a week. And I remember a goal I scored for Nigeria; but Nigerians don't know about this. It was in Angola against the Angolan national team. I remember a goal I scored in Senegal in the 1992 Nations Cup – the winning goal against Senegal; opening game. There are few goals like that.

Any footballer who wants to last long on the scene, what must the person do?

One – stay in prayers; two – be self disciplined; and when I say discipline, there's a lot that goes with self discipline. At least, you know when to go to bed, you know when to go out, you know when to party with your friends. These are all about the self discipline stuff that you need to really address. If you have that self discipline and of course working hard in training sessions, because most people think if I'm talented, I don't need to do a lot in training, I just play. No! You are a better footballer when you give everything in training sessions, you work hard in training sessions and in the game, you will just be flying and you will be asking yourself: Did I just do that? Was that me? Yes! Because you are just giving everything on the field after the training session. So, you need that self discipline, you need to hard work and of course you have to believe in yourself because you might come to an obstacle where a coach might tell you; you know what, I don't think I need you and you will say no, coach, you need me. Trust me! And this is where you need to show your ability, you need to show what you have and that is it.

Can you recollect the worst match that you ever played?

Worst match? Worst match will be…(Thinks) I can't remember. Worst match, I'm thinking some game with New Nigerian Bank. No, no…I will take it back. Yeah! I now remember. Worst match was…well, it wasn't really the worst because I was ill. I was playing with Coach Bale in ACB then and we had a league game against Bendel Insurance in Benin and I only played for about 15 minutes when I was substituted because I wasn't feeling fine. I was very mad at myself. I cursed myself out and the next day, went back to training all by myself, trying to re-capture what happened, why I was taken out; it had never happened to me. Never! I've never been on the bench as a reserve player. It's very hard for any coach to substitute me. Very hard! So, it was something I took personally and said God, I had to iron this out.

At the peak of your career, you were called The Boss. How did that sobriquet come about?

The Big Boss actually. The Big Boss came about when I went to Europe. I realized that there were a lot of things that we needed to do for the national team because my dream was to make the Nigerian national team a great nation in football and most of our players were still local players and I was trying to take some of them out, because with the little experience I had gained while I was in Europe, I needed to establish it with the players and let the players know what it takes to win a game; I needed to change their mentality that hey, it's not just all about running on the pitch, you got to do something and I think when I'm playing I'm always directing and all those stuff and the journalists, the media felt that I was a little bit bossy (General laughter) in teaching the players. But I was doing it for ourselves. So, that we can win our games, be happy, Nigerians are happy and they started calling me The Big Boss. And it just stuck.
During your playing days, who was your closest friend and why?
They've all been my closest friends…

We know, but there must be one person with whom you shared intimate secrets?

I hate to have one that's a favourite. I've always taken my team mates as my friends, my brothers. That's the way I carry every one of them. Maybe late Uche Okafor. You know we are all different, we need some kind of talk, some kind of psyching to make the other person feel better and at a point Uche was on that level. But he was somebody that I liked very much.

Outside of the field of play, you look calm and cool. Do you have a dual personality – a lion on the pitch and a lamb outside of that?

No, when I'm on the field, I'm a different person. I'm very aggressive. Aggressive, not to the point of getting somebody injured, but I wanna win. That's all I want. I will do everything necessary to win because I have to win. But outside the field, I'm a different person. Some people don't even recognize me and they are like are you Keshi?

Anytime you lose a match, how do you feel, how do you console yourself?

It depends on the game. If I play and give everything that I know I have, I don't really go crazy about it. But I still feel bad that I lost. But I know I cannot win every game. It's not possible. But even if I have to lose, I want to fight it to the end and for the other team to know that yes, they played against a team and that's it. Because it's not possible that I win every game, but should I lose, let me lose gallantly.

Where do most footballers lose it in terms of attaining and sustaining success? Some of them are here today and gone tomorrow, but you are here and still standing strong. What did you do that they didn't do?

I don't know.

Okay, what is the secret of your success as a player and a coach?

I think it's just that I have a line in everything that I do. This is my job. Period! I don't mess around with my job. Even for entertainment or whatever, I know when it is time for my work. And when it it's time for my work, it's time for my work. And when I'm done with my work, I can do whatever I wanna do. I don't mix it up. But you find people that mix their job together with some other things and at the end, the job will suffer. So, I like to take one thing at a time and do it and make sure I give it 110 percent concentration and take it from there. When I'm done with that episode, I can do other things. If I'm given the opportunity to clean this floor, I wanna give it the best. Whoever comes in will look at it and say damn, I can actually see myself on this floor. Who did this? This is what I like. I don't wanna do half and half job, I wanna do it totally that I would be satisfied and whoever comes in will like what he sees.

What is the greatest lesson that life has taught you in your entire career?
To be nice to people, to respect every human being that you meet, because in every human being there is a unique thing about the person and what does he want? It's just the appreciation, it's just to acknowledge one that you are good and just do the simplest things in life. It's not about winning billions of dollars and all those stuff, but being able to have fun with whoever is around you and then put smile in their faces. I hate, like I just said, to sit with people with their faces squeezed up. Let's have fun, life is too short.

However, it was not just any other Sunday evening, it was April 27, 2014, the evening veteran actor and Yoruba movie superstar, Yinka Quadri (Kura Matete) rolled his existence on earth, spanning more than 50 years into a book.

A wide array of stars and celebrities, friends and family, put on their nicest garbs to celebrate with the exemplary role interpreter as he officially released his autobiography, Yinka Quadri: Scent of a Legend at a lavish event, held at the Blue Roof, LTV ground, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.

Guests which included the wife of the Lagos state governor, Dame Abimbola Fashola, National leader of the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC) Otunba Gani Adams, as well as his friends and colleagues such as Oga Bello, Jide Kosoko, and many more were full of praises for the versatile actor.

The actress and her brother recently performed at a movie premiere which left everyone breathless with their stage performance.

According to reports, a lion escaped from the Nekede Zoo in Owerri, the Imo State capital last night so children are advised to stay back home for safety reasons.

The State's local radio station Orient FM made the broadcast.

It is said the police command and the management of the zoo are doing their best to track down the lion as the public is also advised to be on the lookout and be safety conscious.

An Australian woman has miraculously given birth to conjoined twins with one body and two heads despite doctors initially telling them to terminate the pregnancy.
Renee Young and her partner Simon Howie, of Tregear in Sydney's west, welcomed their daughters on Thursday six weeks before they were due. The couple, who found out via an ultrasound that the twins they were expecting was in fact one child with two symmetrical faces and two brains connected by the one brain stem, said doctors were shocked by the girls' exceptional progress.
The girls were born with a rare condition called diprosopus, which means they share the same body
and vital organs but have their own faces and brains which are connected by only one brain stem. The condition is so rare that only 35 cases have ever been recorded and none have survived.

But despite all the forewarned medial problems likely to come their way, Ms Young and Mr Howie are just happy their girls are alive and well.

A mother of an abducted Nigerian schoolgirl has identified her daughter in the video posted by Islamist rebels, Boko Haram, yesterday that showed dozens of girls in captivity, a school leader said on Tuesday.
Reuters reports that the mother watched the video on television on Monday evening and spotted her daughter among the girls sitting on the ground and wearing veils, said Dumoma Mpur, parent-teachers association chairman at Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, northeastern Nigeria.

This is a story flying around in the media and from what I heard it happened in Lagos. The story below:

My aunt just came back and she is shaking seriously for she witnessed a strange incident some minutes ago. She boarded a bus from her office to drop at Ikotun this evening and unfortunately the bus had no conductor so one woman - one of them (passengers) decided to play the good Samaritan by helping the driver collect the t.fare from passengers.

Everyone co-operated and paid o except for one old man like that. Eventually he brought out his N50 and gave the woman to give the driver. Immediately this woman collected the money, she started shaking like someone that had been hit with 'warapa'...the shaking got so bad that the driver had to pack and everyone started shouting on the old man to undo whatever he had done to the innocent woman after all it was after she collected the money from him that she began shaking.The old man now said they should let him rub the woman's breast so that the shaking can stop. While rubbing her br*ast, they both disappeared like film trick.

Everybody in the bus shouted and scattered o, even the driver fled o. You needed to have seen the commotion. Please help warn Nigerians to be careful, all these kidnappers keep devising new methods everyday, only God knows where that woman is now."
