Beyonce Congratulates Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on Their Wedding

It was wrongly reported that Beyonce and Jay Z had confirmed their attendance to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding in Italy with Jay Z standing up for Kanye as best man. However, Beyonce and Jay Z were not at the wedding with some classing it as a snub to the newly married couple. To show her love and support of Kim and Kanye, Beyonce shared the picture below with the caption;

Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West celebrated their marriage earlier today at the historic Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Kim wore a Givenchy Haute Couture lacy wedding dress with a sheer back and long sleeves while Kanye West wore a custom Givenchy tuxedo. Jay Z and Beyonce didn't attend the wedding as had been reported. E! Online gives all details

Kim married Kanye today in an intimate (but not so secret!) ceremony which was attended by the couple's nearest and dearest.
E! News has learned that Rick Wilkinson Jr. officiated the ceremony, which was nothing less than spectacular.

During the wedding, the couple, along with their guests, enjoyed a magical performance by Andrea Bocelli. The famed Italian tenor serenaded Kim and Kanye with several songs, including "Con te Partiro."

Guests in attendance included Kris Jenner, Bruce Jenner—who walked Kim down the aisle—Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, Kendall Jenner,Kylie Jenner, Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huck, Rachel Roy, LaLa Anthony, Brittny Gastineau, Jaden Smith, Ray Romulus, who wore Vivianne Westwood, stylist Monica Rose, Robin Antin and the couple's adorable 11-month-old daughter, North West.

Kim's bridal party consisted soley of sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kris, Kylie, Kendall, who all undoubtedly looked stunning their bridesmaids dresses.

White roses were delivered to the Forte today as part of the stunning floral arrangements, and the catering was provided by Galateo Ricevimenti. Guests dined on traditional Tuscan cuisine before they enjoyed an impressive 7-tier cake, which was crafted by Galeto.

Security was on high alert today at the 16th-century-era fortress, where attendees were required to hand over their cell phones prior to the I-dos.

The artwork was provided by Vanessa Beecroft Art Installation, while event company Jaulin Decorations was also seen at the Forte, which was adorned with elements of a "strong Tuscan influence" that were "reminiscent of what happened in Florentine art from the 13th century onward," according to a source.

Prior to the ceremony, two white dress bags, which seemingly contained Kim's wedding dress wear, were sent via private jet from Paris. Kim later got dressed at Forte di Belvedere and while we have yet to see her gown, we have no doubts that bride looked absolutely stunning!

Even before guests stepped foot on the stunning Forte, the excitement had already begun.

At about 2:40 p.m. Florence time, Kris, Kendall and another man dressed in a tuxedo were part of a larger group waiting outside a villa on the outskirts of Florence before they were transported to the wedding destination.

"I saw Kris and Kendall," a second source tells us. "They seemed expectant, upbeat and enthusiastic. They were standing outside waiting to leave and looking at a stunning panoramic view of Florence. They were happy and excited and you can tell they couldn't wait to go."

And for good reason—congrats to the happy couple!

4 Reasons to Celebrate Being Single

Posted: 24 May 2014 05:03 AM PDT

Justin Schamotta

In the rush to meet that perfect someone it's easy to forget just how great it is being single. As a lone rider you get to do what you want, when you want and with whomever you want.

2013 was dubbed 'the year of being single' after the UK census revealed that for the first time there were more single-person households than married-couple households. By 2031, the Government Office for Science says that singletons are on course to become the biggest type of household.

With the number of singles on the rise, there's even more scope for reaping the rewards that flying solo can bring. Here are just some of the benefits.

1. Single people are fitter – literally. A poll commissioned by the Department of Health revealed that married people were far less likely to take the recommended 150 minutes of exercise per week than their unmarried counterparts.

2. Single people have better social lives. It's a lesser known fact that couples spend so much time on the sofa that they start to chemically bond with them. Singles on the other hand tend to hang out with friends, neighbours, work colleagues – and relish the chance of meeting new people.

A longitudinal study published in the Journal of Gerontology reported that people over the age of 35 living with a partner (or spouse) were less likely to spend an evening socializing with others than their unattached counterparts.

3. Single people have more interesting sex lives. Those with partners might get more sex, but it's always with the same person. Single people, by contrast, can play the field and enjoy the altered state of consciousness that is lust.

4. Singles get more 'me' time. Indulging in your favourite activities is one of life's greatest pleasures – whether that's travel to foreign lands or focusing on creating a piece of art. This ability to be spontaneous is highly undervalued and well worth cherishing. The moment a relationship starts, the name of the game will be compromise.

The take-home message here is that single people are more fun and interesting than those who are members of the couple club. The irony of course is that the more you embrace your singleism, the more likely it is that someone will want to relieve you of it. So enjoy it while it lasts!

Do you Think Single Girls Prefer to Date Married Men Than Single Men?

Posted: 24 May 2014 02:01 AM PDT

Toke Makinwa, who was recently appointed as a co-host on the Moments With Mo TV Show, seems to believe that single girls do deliberately go out with married men, and prefer them to single men.

Her latest blog on the topic seems very timely since news of Joseph Yobo's alleged cheating with a single lady [read here] sparked a social media quarrel between Adaeze Yobo and one of her Instagram followers yesterday.

Toke's latest vlog says more and more single girls of late are dating married men, and she plays good/bad cop on the scenarios that may surround such infidelity. In the video, she explains some reasons why single ladies prefer to date married men.

- Ladies can't deal with lies by single men,

- Single guys are scarce and hard to find,

- Married men are (arguably) more romantic and

- The financial gain.

You should definitely watch to see if you agree or disagree with the points Toke raised.
