| Ellen and Wife Portia Rossi Still Going Together Amidst Reports of Divorce Posted: 27 Jun 2014 07:05 PM PDT  Ellen Degeneres and wife Portia Rossi have been under a lot of scrutiny lately as reports continue to indicate they are going through divorce proceedings. However, the couple were seen in New York City earlier in the week stepping out together, holding hands and joking with the paparazzi. It almost seems like the two are thumbing their noses at the rumors of divorce. Regarding the vicious rumors, Ellen told People magazine the following: "I love her so much it kills me. The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."  The couple has had to endure rumors that ranged from; Ellen cheating to jealously to Portia being allegedly pregnant. Lately, their relationship has been further subject to scrutiny, including recent allegations that Portia was jealous of the closeness between Ellen and her gal-pal Sofia Vergara. Both stars however seem to be looking happier than ever as they took a sunny stroll around the city together, laughing and holding hands. Furthermore, the couple are planning a lavish trip back to Australia to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary. So, it looks as if their romance is sound and intact.      | ||

But with his wife Kate Pappas, Kyle Beckerman is a softie, a romantic and a lover. Even when they are on the soccer pitch, he is far removed from the fighter he usually is. This is seen in the couple's adorable engagement photos taken at the Rio Tinto Stadium, the home field for Beckerman's MLS club, Real Salt Lake. The couple also got a few nature shots that show their love for the outdoors. Pappas and Beckerman met in 2009 and the midfielder popped the question in January 2013. They got married in January 2014, right before Beckerman headed out for Team USA's training camp. Kyle Beckerman and then fiance Kate Pappas had the photoshoot last October but they resurfaced yesterday as Team USA faced Germany at the World Cup. | Cassie Shows No Baby Bump as She Steps Out in Bra Top For Outing With P Diddy Posted: 27 Jun 2014 05:07 PM PDT  Cassie Ventura sparked off speculations last week that she and boyfriend, P Diddy could be expecting their first child together. The model had posted an Instagram bikini picture [see here] that showed noticeabley fuller stomach, breasts and face. Cassie later removed the photo that started the stories and replaced it with another, but that only added fuel to the fire. Now with pictures emerging from Cassie and Diddy's outing last night, it is obvious that any pregnancy talk is not justified. The couple attended the 40th birthday party of baseball star, Derek Jeter, and also later seen at Khloe Kardasian's 30th birthday with French Montana. For the outing, Cassie wore a knee-length fitted white skirt and a gray denim bra top that both showed off her toned midriff. No more bump watch :)         | ||
| Ice-T’s Grandson Elyjah Marrow Arrested For Fatally Shooting Roommate Posted: 27 Jun 2014 04:09 PM PDT  Elyjah Marrow, grandson of actor and rapper Ice T, has been arrested after he accidentally shot and killed his roommate, Daryuis Johnson, in their Georgia apartment. According to police, 19-year-old Marrow was fiddling with a handgun in his Georgia apartment Tuesday when it accidentally went off, fatally wounding roommate Daryus Johnson, who was also 19. Daryuis Johnson was first transported to nearby WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Marietta Police Officer David Baldwin told reporters; "Marrow was not using proper firearms safety when handling the gun. That reckless handling of the firearm is what led to Johnson being accidentally shot and eventually killed." The 19-year-old Elyjah Marrow had on occassion appeared with his grandfather Ice-T, on the reality series 'Ice love Coco,' about Ice T and his wife. TMZ reports that Elijah Marrow has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, and reckless conduct. He was also hit with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm. He is currently in custody. And so far, there's been no comment from Ice-T.      | ||
| Dying Cancer Patient Rowden Go Pangcoga Marries Girlfriend Leizl Hours Before He Dies Posted: 27 Jun 2014 03:05 PM PDT  Rowden Go Pangcoga and Leizl Pangcoga were supposed to be married July 8, but Rowden was diagnosed with Stage 4 live cancer in May. Hours before his death, the dying groom got his wish to wed his one true love as the couple were married on June 10. Because Rowden couldn't leave the hospital, the marriage ceremony was brought to him. On June 11, 2014, 12 hours after they were married, Rowden passed away. Their wedding video titled A Wedding That Will Move You, currently has over 6Million views on Youtube. See the video and pictures below. There is also a touching description by Hasset Go, he is the groom's brother and also uploaded the video on Youtube. Nurses are a line of communication for those who may have no one else to talk to. They can serve as a confidante for those who don't want the rest of the world to know why they are seeking care. Inspire Hope in Others As a nurse, you are the one who is going to talk to patients about their status, give them their medicine and otherwise be there when a person needs someone to talk to. If someone is going through a battle with cancer or a child is going through an illness, you can be there to give hope to that person. There have been stories where nurses will hold a spa day inside a patient's room or just spend extra time talking to that person even when their shift is over. Just knowing that someone cares can provide the hope that a person needs to keep going. Act as a Liaison for Younger People A nurse can act as a go-between for young people who may not want to tell their parents why they may have gotten sick in the first place. If a teenager has a heart condition that was exasperated by drug or alcohol abuse, that teen may be more likely to play dumb and make it harder for the doctor to figure out the cause. However, a good nurse is able to coax out what caused the condition to flare up and help that person get better without judgment. Simply Be a Friendly Face An older person who is forced to stay at a long-term care facility or at an assisted-living facility may not have a lot of friends and family. Therefore, their nurse may be one of the only people that he or she will see on a regular basis. Over time, seeing the nurse and chatting about a TV show or a book could be something that helps an elderly person want to get up and start the day. Getting a nursing degree from Ohio University or other such schools is about more than becoming a medical professional. Posted: 27 Jun 2014 01:50 PM PDT  Yesterday, when Kim Kardashian shared pictures of her blonde wig on Instagram, she started by fooling her followers into thinking she had dyed her hair blonde again, tagging the picture; "It's baaaaack!!!! #BlondeHairDontCare thanks to @SergeNormant" However, she corrected that impression when a few hours later, she posted another photo (below), with the caption: "It's just a wig! Looks so real though right?" The second picture quickly became controversial, but not because of the prank! It appeared that Kim had a wardrobe malfunction in the selfie, and her nipple were showing in the photo.  Well Kim Kardashian has set the record straight, she was actually wearing a nude coloured bra! Though I wonder that the bra seems to either be see-through or has a nipple effect, with that area darker and poking out like the real thing. Do you think Kim K knew the picture would how her breasts that way and shared it anyway? I personally don't think so. Kim is known for sharing her assets on social media, but mostly her backside, and the nipples are against the Instagram policy and she wouldn't want to break their rules and lose her 100s of millions of followers there. This reminds me of the uproar following the white one-piece swimsuit selfie Kim shared about five months after giving birth to North West. [see here] She captioned it, "#NoFilter" and it showed off her post-baby body. It also got her then fiance retweeting the picture and stating that he was running straight back to her! | 34 Weeks Pregnant Alysia Montano Runs 800 Meter Race, Gets Standing Ovation Posted: 27 Jun 2014 09:10 AM PDT  Just six weeks aways from her due date, Olympian Alysia Montano ran in the opening round of the women's 800 meter race at the USATF Outdoor Championships. By the time she completed the run, Alysia Montano had most of the audience on their feet and cheering for her even though the heavily pregnant runner crossed the finish line dead last. She may not have won the race, but the Olympian was a winner in the eyes of all those watching for even attempting the run. She said of her standing ovation at Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium. "I just felt so supported. I didn't want to be judged or have any ill things said about me. I just wanted to kind of do what my heart and my desire wanted to do." Related - 8 Months Pregnant and Still Lifting Heavy Weights Montano, a five-time U.S. outdoor champion, had a previous qualifying time that allowed her to enter the competition and clocked 2 minutes, 32.13 seconds, mere seconds behind her closest competitor in the preliminary heat.   Montano said she consulted her doctor and midwife, who encouraged her to race 34 weeks into her pregnancy. "That took away any fear of what the outside world might think about a woman running in pregnancy or exercise in general. What I found out mostly was that exercising and maintaining during pregnancy is actually much better for the mom and the baby." She also said she knew she wouldn't advance out of the first round. Rather, she viewed her participation as a celebration. "We see so many people in different avenues in their life start their family, and it looks so different than it does for a professional athlete, especially for a professional athlete woman," said Montano, whose due date is Aug. 13. "You've seen [four-time Olympic middle distance runner] Bernard Lagat have two kids, and we don't see the other side of it. This is what it looks like to be a professional athlete as a woman." | Update - Karis and MJ Got Married, Raised Enough Funds and After Surgery, MJ's Now Recovering! Posted: 27 Jun 2014 01:46 PM PDT  We have good news! Who remembers the story of Karis Gouldbourne and her fiance MJ who needed heart surgery to survive beyond 30 years? Well, if you don't, read it here. Karis left a comment on that post that MJ has had the surgery and is now on the mend. She wrote; I'm happy to report that we eventually received enough donations and that MJ had his op about three weeks ago. He's now at home recovering, and should be back to normal within six months. Also, the couple got married! Karis shared the news on their FB page saying, "after an almost seven-year-long relationship and a two-year-long engagement, MJ officially put a ring on it. Call me "Mrs Karis Jagne". In fact, call me "KJ" See the last two FB updates from Karis with pictures and video.  Amazing news! [May 22] Thanks to an incredible man whom we will call 'The Anonymous Helper', along with every single one of YOUR shares and donations, we have managed to secure the entire amount of money we need to be able to afford MJ's triple valve surgery! The #fundmyheart campaign is complete! I will ask you all to give yourselves a pat on the back for all your hard work and support, and we can now concentrate on getting the operation underway. Thank you all so much! However, MJ isn't the only person suffering, and so when everything is sorted we are going to try and turn Fund My Heart into a proper, registered charity. Don't unlike the page - we'll be up and running again ASAP. Time for an update! [June 20] MJ had his operation on the 1st of this month - almost three weeks ago already. I'm absolutely delighted to say that it went very well, and he's been back at home since last Wednesday. Unfortunately, because of how long his heart was left untreated, his aortic valve stopped developing a few years ago; this meant that the surgeon had to completely reconstruct it (I did not know this was possible, and am still amazed at what his human hands can do!), and therefore the surgery, in total, took around fourteen hours when it was supposed to take just six. Apart from that hiccup, all went very smoothly and in three to six months, MJ will be fully recovered. All that has changed physically is his impressive scar, sternum to stomach, and the fact that his heart ticks. Literally ticks. Like a clock. It's extremely cool. Oh, and I forgot one thing - it's WORKING! Finally, I would just like to thank you all again for your support, your generous donations and shares, and again to our Anonymous Helper for speeding the entire process up. #fundmyheart went from 0-1000 in what felt like minutes, and now it's almost over. | Sherri Shepherd, Jenny McCarthy Leave 'The View' - Will The Show Be Cancelled? Posted: 27 Jun 2014 01:52 PM PDT  Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy will be leaving The View, and with the show's co-creator Barbara Walters retired from hosting duties last month, some wonder if that's the end? Shepherd said in a statement confirming her departure, "It's been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and (executive producer) Bill Geddie for giving me the opportunity. I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey." ABC confirmed McCarthy's departure saying: "The View will be moving in an exciting new direction next season and ABC has made decisions to evolve the show creatively." McCarthy then tweeted about leaving the show: "My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks. Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year." This leaves only Whoopi Goldberg as the current regular host, and speculations are swirling about other hosts that might be joining her, or if the show will simply be cancelled.      | ||

And no, it is not Weight Watchers. The rapper said it was a combination of a slight diet plan and a CrossFit exercise routine, and that he has been able to lose 100 pounds over the last year. Rick Ross used to have seizures some years ago and this led Reebok, whose brand he represents to introduce him to a trainer to help him lose weight. Rick Ross explained in an interview: I do this sh-t called CrossFit. I call it RossFit. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I call it ROSSFIT.
