7 - 6OL802M

This 80 year-old man looks like a troll or maybe a creature from The Lord of the Rings. His skin is scaly, you can barely see his eyes and he smells to high heaven.
The reason for this is simple, he doesn't have a skin disease or terrible condition: he has just refused to take a bath for sixty years.
A Reddit user posted the gallery below.
It's Very hard to believe this is a real human being.

It's impossible to judge others for their decisions. After all we are all different, but it's extremely difficult to understand why Amoo lives the life he does.

Pakurumo Readers Pls Help! What can I do to make my girlfriend of 10 years Leave Me?!?

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 09:43 AM PST

I've been dating my girlfriend for 10years and she is now 32, I'm 34. The thing is, I know deep in my heart I can never marry her.
I knew that 2 years ago. But I have done all I can to make her leave inthe past 2 years yet she won't leave. I have cheated, beat her, not called for weeks, still yet she is always forgiving me.
I have even set her up with men but she would always tell them how she loves her boyfriend of years. I've been dating another girl for the past 2 years and I want to propose but my stubborn girlfriend I don't love doesn't want to make way.my girlfriend who I want to marry is getting tired of waiting for me to breakup with this one
I even went as far as telling her maybe we should spend some time apart. She just laughed and said we are one in spirit so that doesn't make sense .
I am fed up. What can I do to make a woman get tired and leave ? This is urgent and I need answers before I go crazy. Is it by force to love again?
I'm pissed off!

KCEE's  popular song, Limpopo definitely gave him a number of endorsements deal, chief among them was his MTN Ambassadorial deal, which came shortly after releasing the song.

"I really don't want to talk more about this development because it is not a new thing. Campaign Posters of The richest Black woman on Earth, Folorunsho Alakija Floods Lagos! [PHOTOS]

Alakija's posters have flooded the streets of Alausa, Lagos. They invite people to support her ambition for the governorship seat.

"2015: Vote Folorunsho Alakija for Governor," the caption on the posters read.

However, there is no indication of Alakija's possible party.

The richest woman on Earth has not commented yet on the issue of spreading posters.

Alakija is seen by many as a woman of impeccable character and one that could provide the needed leadership to move Lagos forward, but with the dominant All Progressives Congress in power in Lagos, it is doubtful if she can achieve her aspiration outside the party.

In 2013, Forbes named Alakija as the richest black woman on Earth as she defeated the television show-host and actress, Oprah Winfrey. By November, 2013, Forbes put her net worth at $2.5 billion. But, according to the UK Mail, by January 2014 her net worth had skyrocketed to $7.3 billioncourtesy, therefore beating Oprah Winfrey, whose net worth is now $2.9 billion, to the second place.

"I pray that all of my artistes Grow more BIGGER than Wizkid” - Banky W.

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 08:28 AM PST

The issues between Banky W and Wizkid have been resolved but it's obvious there is some bad blood between the two.

In a recent interview with a Popular Nigerian radio station, Banky W has disclosed that his greatest prayer is to have artistes that will excel more than Wizkid, who is also singed to EME.

He said Wizkid never left EME and put the blame on bloggers and newspapers who just love to attract more traffic and buyers.

Read Interview Excerpts below: -

"Bad news is more interesting to people than good news and when you don't give people bad news, they just find a way to create it just to get traffic to their website or sell their newspapers. Contrary to what was reported, Wizkid never actually left (EME). We understood that we had to restructure because he was getting bigger. He now has his imprint called, "Star Boy", which is normal. Jay Z signed Kanye (West), who now has G.O.O.D Music. Everything is fine, Wizkid is still with the team. I am very proud of him and I pray that all of my artistes will grow as far as Wizkid and even more."

'400 Nigerian students Waste Away in Chinese prisons' -Association of Nigerian Students in China Reveals!

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 08:29 AM PST

Tukur Hassan Tingilin is the Treasurer of Association of Nigerian Students in China, and is studying Mechanical Manufacture and Automation at Tianjin University of Technology and Education.  In this interview with Vanguard Learning, he talks about the difference between Chinese and Nigerian education, discriminations Nigerians face and number of Nigerian students in prison. Excerpts:

How do you think China's educational system is useful to Nigeria's need?
To start with, China is by far ahead of Nigeria in terms of educational facilities and infrastructure. So, I think the availability of better facilities/infrastructure will avail China-trained Nigerian students the necessary expertise and skills, especially in terms of practical knowledge and its application which is lacking or inadequate back home.

Secondly, with China's rapid investments in most African countries (Nigeria inclusive), having Nigerians that have passed through the Chinese education system will go a long way in helping the country achieve a better synergy with Chinese investors. Such people will have a better understanding of the Chinese system, work ethics etc.

Presently, there are over 1,000 Nigerian students studying in China that have identified with the Association during the last tour we conducted in conjunction with the Nigerian Embassy, and most of them are on self sponsorship.

Why do most Chinese students prefer studying abroad, preferably in America and Europe?
I think this is driven, to a large extent, by the quest of most Chinese to learn and speak English, especially the younger generation. I have also come to a conclusion based on my interactions with some Chinese students, that they see America as a benchmark in everything, so they have this feeling that studying in Europe or America will help them achieve their aim of being able to learn and speak English as well as give them better prospects and opportunities.

For example, a recent analysis I watched on CCTVNEWS shows that a considerable number of graduates, especially with specialty in arts, find it difficult to secure jobs related to their fields or are unemployed. Another factor is low income. Like I said earlier, they have this notion that things are better in America and Europe and when they study in these places, they can secure high income jobs.

Is it true that most students who come here to study actually come to do other things?
It is true that some of the students who came to China to study end up doing other things that have, in some cases, led to imprisonment either as a result of fraud, drugs, promiscuity, etc. For example, some usually come to China under the guise of studying Chinese language, but they quit and go into social vices and end up being arrested and sent to prison.

But it would be fair to say only a handful of students compared to the large population of good Nigerian students are found wanting and have succeeded in putting the multitude of the Nigerian people and even students in an uncomfortable situation and given the country a bad image.

I was opportune to be at Beijing in July just before the Presidential visit where I heard the Nigerian Ambassador, Aminu Wali, say that there are currently over 400 Nigerians serving terms in various jails in China.
Wali also disclosed that 80 per cent of the prisoners committed drug-related offences. He also said about 80 per cent of the crimes committed by Africans were committed by Nigerian citizens.

The Ambassador called on the Federal Government and National Assembly to take action to support the efforts to help Nigerians in distress abroad and also support the embassies outside to "give more consular support to Nigerian prisoners or Nigerians who find themselves not only in prisons but in difficulties in the host countries."
Also, the Ministry of Education and the Nigerian Universities Commission need to have a tighter grip on Nigerian institutions, especially secondary and tertiary education.

It is understandable that the country is still struggling with basic education so introducing another responsibility might overstretch the Ministry thereby making it unable to deliver any, but the area of concern here is the gross indiscipline displayed by our youths today. Discipline is a recipe for leadership, if the leader of tomorrow lacks discipline, then there is probably no tomorrow.

We have had cases of students who find it hard to attend classes, don't have respect for their teachers but prefer to roam around during classes, dress indecently and are arrogant. We have heard of Nigerian students who cannot keep up their grades and had to be demoted to carry electives in elementary Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology, before proceeding to their major courses while fellow compatriots are best in their classes.

How do Nigerian students cope with discrimination and language barrier?
It is really challenging for anybody coming to China for the first time because you hardly get someone who can speak English. As students, we have to force ourselves to learn the language and it is really interesting to learn and speak because once the Chinese understands you can speak the language, they usually become more friendly and kind to you.

On the issue of discrimination, Asians are more accommodating compared with the Europeans and Americans. When you talk of Nigerians in particular, the discrimination for us is all over the world, even with our fellow Africans. After the last African Cup of Nations, the Senate President was quoted as saying that "Nigerians have few friends in Africa" which is really true.

It took some of my African friends in my class time before they started relating with me because they were warned from home not to associate with Nigerians. It took over a semester before a Tanzanian friend told me that he found us totally different from what he knows of Nigerians in his country.

Though the Chinese government has very strict laws and we have never heard cases of discrimination, but Nigerians always undergo thorough checking at airports and immigration because of the records we have.

Recently, we (the Association) received a lot of complaints from students in some Provinces that the universities they applied to denied them admission because they are Nigerians. Some reported to us that when they further enquired on why Nigerians only, they were referred to the Entry and Exit Police who usually are responsible for issuing students' visa application form.

We forwarded these complaints to the Nigerian Embassy in Beijing and I urge the Foreign Affairs Ministry and Education Ministry to intervene, work together with Chinese Embassy to control the way students are being admitted, so that the image of the good ones will be saved and Nigerians will be free from such discriminations.

What is the difference in graduate education between China and Nigeria?
Graduate education in Nigeria is largely theory-based with little or no practical knowledge. This is due to inadequate facilities to meet the requirements of the large number of students as well as an unconducive atmosphere for research to thrive, especially with our obsolete equipment in our laboratories and workshops, outdated books in our libraries, lack of internet facilities, etc. All these have adverse effects on the benefits of graduate education back home.

On the other hand, the story is different here in China. I am not saying the system is perfect but it is definitely better than back home. Students gain a lot in terms of practical knowledge and researchers are up-to-date with research trends in their fields. Laboratories and workshops are equipped with modern facilities; internet facilities are always available, students use latest software related to their fields etc. All these give an edge or sort of benefit for a person that is opportune to study here over someone that studied back home. These are few of the differences in terms of benefits.

Niger-Delta Named Among The World’s 10 Most Polluted Places in the World! [PHOTOS]

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 07:38 AM PST

According to the report, the World Health Organization (the public health arm of the United Nations) has estimated that 23 percent of deaths in the developing world can be attributed to environmental factors like pollution. Besides cancer, exposure to toxic chemicals can cause acute and chronic poisoning, cognitive impairment, organ damage and respiratory problems, the report said, adding that children are most vulnerable to these impacts.
Researchers said the 10 sites were chosen based on the severity of their health risk and prioritized by their value as examples of different kinds of pollution threats around world.
Here are the 10 sites listed in the report, in alphabetical order:

Agbogbloshie, Ghana:

A boy places another piece of 'e-waste' on a burning pile of electronics in Agbogbloshie, Accra, Ghana, in 2008.
This dumpsite in the Ghanaian capital Accra is the second largest e-waste processing area in West Africa. When sheathed cables from electronics like microwaves and computers are burned to recover the copper material inside, metals can particulate in the smoke and get left behind in the soil. An estimated 40,000 people are affected by the pollution threat.

Chernobyl, Ukraine:

Bumper cars remain abandoned in the empty town of Pripyat near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on March 25, 2011 in Pripyat, Ukraine.
The world's worst nuclear disaster at Chernobyl in 1986 released 100 times more radiation than the atom bombs dropped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Skin lesions, respiratory ailments, infertility and birth defects affected people in contaminated areas in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine for years and the accident has been linked to more than 4,000 cases of thyroid cancer. Pollution from Chernobyl is estimated to have affected some 10 million people.

Citarum River, Indonesia:

Greenpeace activists wearing protective suits inspect toxic waste discharge from a textile factory seen in the background in Citarum river, in Dayeuhkolot district in Bandung regency, located in West Java province.
More than 500,000 people are directly affected, and up to 5 million people are indirectly impacted, by chemical pollution in the Citarum River Basin in West Java. Lead, aluminum, manganese and iron concentrations in the river are several times higher than world averages because of pollution from industrial and domestic sources.

Dzershinsk, Russia:

Itar-Tass / Landov
A major site of chemical manufacturing in Russia, Dzershinsk has high levels of pollutants like dioxins and phenol in the groundwater. Residents suffer from diseases and cancers of the eyes, lungs and kidneys and life expectancy in the city is just 47 for women and just 42 for men.

Hazaribagh, Bangladesh:

Bangladeshi tannery workers sit amidst smoke as they labour at a temporary tannery in the Hazaribagh District of Dhaka on October 6, 2012.
Tanneries using old, outdated and inefficient processing methods to make leather dump 22,000 cubic liters of toxic waste each day into the city's main river, impacting more than 160,000 people. This waste includes the cancer-causing chemical hexavalent chromium.

Kabwe, Zambia:

Blacksmith Institute
Decades of unregulated lead mining in this African city have caused serious health problems for residents of Kabwe, where more than 300,000 people are thought to be affected by pollution. In 2006, children's blood lead levels in Kabwe were found to exceed the recommended levels by five to 10 times.

Kalimantan, Indonesia:

An excavator load coal to a truck at Pit Pelican of Kaltim Prima Coal in Sangata, Kutai Timur Regency, East Kalimantan province, Indonesia, in 2007.
On the island of Borneo, Kalimantan and the surrounding areas have become contaminated with mercury because of small-scale gold mining, impacting some 225,000 people. Miners in the region use mercury in the gold extraction process, resulting in mercury emissions during the amalgamation and smelting processes.

Matanza Riachuelo, Argentina:

A man looks down over a pile of garbage along the banks of the Riachuelo River near Buenos Aires, Argentina, on July 2, 2009.
More than 15,000 industries are thought to be releasing a variety of pollutants into the Matanza River, which passes through Buenos Aires and empties into the Rio de la Plata. Contaminants include zinc, lead, copper, nickel and total chromium (a term that includes two forms of chromium), making the drinking water near the Matanza-Riachuelo river basin seriously unsafe, threating more than 20,000 people who live in the area.

Niger River Delta, Nigeria:

Smoke rises as an illegal oil refinary burns after a military chase in a windy creek near river Nun in Nigeria's oil state of Bayelsa, December 6, 2012.
An unknown number of people are impacted by the voracious petroleum industry in this densely populated part of Africa, where there were nearly 7,000 incidents involving oil spills between 1976 and 2001. The report said that about 2 million barrels of oil were being extracted from the delta every day as of last year.

Norilsk, Russia

Smoke stacks for a nickel-refinery spew sulfur dioxide into the environment July 21, 2002 in Norilsk, Russia.
Norilsk is an industrial city in Siberian Russia, where each year, nearly 500 tons each of copper and nickel oxides and 2 million tons of sulfur dioxide are released into the air. Life expectancy for factory workers in Norilsk is 10 years below the Russian average.

Who will be the King of African football? Will Mikel Obi Break the Nigerian 14-Year-Old Jinx??

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 06:28 AM PST

The annual CAF Awards enters its 22nd edition this year and the Awards Gala will take place Lagos, Nigeria.
On Thursday, January 9, 2013; the King of African football will be unveiled at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos; amongst the trio of Yaya Toure, past winner of the last two editions; his Ivorian counterpart Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel (Nigeria).
From 1992 to 2012, from Ghana's Abedi Pele to Ivorian Toure, 14 players have laid claim to the most prestigious individual honour in African football. Eto'o has been crowned an unprecedented four times – 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010, whilst Senegalese forward, El Hadji Diouf won the award twice in succession; 2001 and 2002 just as Toure in 2011 and 2012.
However, the first player to have been named CAF African footballer of the Year on two occasions remain ex-Nigeria captain Nwankwo Kanu, in 1996 and 1999 before Drogba duplicated the feat in 2006 and 2009.
Winners of the prestigious honour have come from either the midfield or attack; and that tradition will be respected yet again this year as the contenders are within that scope.
In addition, the 14 players to have been decorated since 1992 had and continue to remain amongst the foremost African ambassadors of the world's most popular sport.
When the roll call for the laureates is launched, there is one noticeable observation; Nigeria is the country which has the biggest number of laureates with five awards in total, two for Kanu, one each for Emmanuel Amunike, Rashidi Yekini and Victor Ikpeba.
Patrick Mboma won it once coupled with Eto'o's four-time feat also gives Cameroon five titles, Cote d'Ivoire has four in Drogba (twice) and Toure (twice) whilst Diouf is responsible for the only two titles in the name of Senegal.
One-time winners include Ghana – Abedi Pele, Liberia – George Weah (the only African player to have been crowned FIFA World Footballer of the Year), Morocco – Mustapha Hadji, Mali – Frederic Kanoute and Togo – Emmanuel Adebayor.
Another common feature is that all winners plied their trade in Europe at the time of their coronation.

Awards winners

1992 Abedi AYEW PELÉ (Ghana)
1993 Rashidi YEKINI (Nigeria)

[MUST READ] How Prophets From Lord Chosen Church Shamed Themselves After Boasting Of Raising The Dead!

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 05:04 AM PST

We don't tell God what to do. He does what He wants to, and what pleases Him at the right time.
Some prophets from The Chosen Church in Imo State have embarrassed themselves after claiming they could raise a man who died a month ago in Burkina Faso, and was brought to his home town, Imo State for burial. The prophets told the community leaders that they want permission to exhume his corpse so that the miracle could happen.
The elders warned them and even said they shouldn't worry to raise him. They refused and insisted it was not the right time for him to have died.

His aunt, a member of The Chosen Church also joined in begging the elders and insisted they should let them perform the miracle. The elders accepted on one condition that the police will be involved, and if they fail to raise him, they will be arrested because it is a taboo in their land.
The D-day came, and hour after hour, nothing happened till 6pm of that day, after they said the man will rise at exactly 12 noon. My people, when the police men couldn't bear it any more, they had to arrest them and took them to their station, and the people of Imo are patiently waiting for the outcome!

Here is how Victoria Ohaeri narrated it on her blog;

A young man, from Umuezii community died in Burkina Faso in November last year under mysterious circumstances.  A month after, his sealed body was brought back to Nigeria and was buried the same day in his family compound in Umuezii, Nguru Mbaise, Imo State.

Trouble started when prophets and seers of the Chosen Church of God prophesied that the dead-and-buried young man was still alive (six feet beneath the earth) as his soul has persistently approached them via telephone calls and other spiritual means, requesting immediate exhumation. His elder sister, who is a member of the Chosen Church, communicated this prophecy to the entire family, leading to a family resolution insisting on the "divinely ordered" exhumation.

The decision to exhume the dead body did not go down well with the community as such act was considered an abomination both under the native tradition and under the prevailing Catholic norms deeply established within the community. All entreaties to the family made by the traditional ruler and parish priest of the St. Luke Catholic Church, Umuezii to refrain from such religious charade fell on deaf ears. It got to a point that the deceased family representatives openly accused the church and community leaders of killing their late brother, and preventing his "god-ordained" resurrection.

As a lasting solution to the impasse, the traditional ruler of the community invited the Chosen Church seers and prophets to sign an agreement of performance failing which they will be handed over to the police authorities for prosecution.  The second condition was that the miracle will be performed in full public glare and in the presence of other independent witnesses. Proudly beating their chests and boasting deafeningly about their "majestic powers", the seers and prophets signed the agreement and a date was mutually agreed for the resurrection miracle.

On the appointed day, a horde of prayer warriors, choristers, singers, speaking-in-tongue experts, seers, prophets and the like stormed the village as early as 6 a.m. The traditional ruler also invited the police, radio commentators, reporters and correspondents from local newspapers and the state-owned Imo Broadcasting Corporation. Chosen Church of God seers boastfully started with an early morning prophecy that the dead young man will "resurrect" by 12 noon prompt. The digging up of the grave followed immediately until the body was exhumed.

Then the singing, violent shaking, screaming, cursing, loud yelling and other theatrical displays in the name of deliverance prayers ensued while the large crowd of keen onlookers watched with deep interest.  From 6.a.m till 12 noon, there was no sign that the young man was preparing to wake let alone resurrect. Seeing that the 12 noon deadline had passed, the seers quickly issued another prophecy shifting the hour of resurrection to 3.p.m. By this time, the prayer and singing sessions became even more intense and violent. 3 p.m came and went. No sign of life. The Chosen Church prophets again, quickly handed down another prophecy declaring 6.p.m as the divine resurrection hour.  6.p.m also went by, and the dead man remained still, lifeless and unresurrected till this day!

Understandably impatient and angry after the 6p.m deadline, the policemen on standby arrested all the prophets, dancers, singers, clappers and everybody that accompanied them to the community. But before then, the Chosen Church prophets had forwarded messages to their head office requesting for spiritual reinforcement. Undeterred by the arrest of their team members, an additional team that arrived around 6 p.m continued with the prayer sessions even more aggressively and vociferously. They prayed and sang all through the night till the following morning. Still, no sign of resurrection! The police officers, who had then totally run out of patience, arrested the remaining Chosen Church members, and everyone connected to the resurrection miracle including the deceased's family representatives.

Some of the arrested Chosen Church members are currently on bail, while a lot more are still in custody till date. The dead body was deposited at the morgue at the Federal Medical Center, Owerri, as exhibit, pending further police investigations and prosecution of the false prophets.

I was present at the New Year church service held at St Lukes Catholic Church, Umuezii, Mbaise where the parish priest's sermon harped on the infiltration of false prophets into the Christendom, warning parishioners to be wary of them. He then invited the members of the deceased family to tender an unreserved apology to the community for the abominable acts they committed. (PICTURED ABOVE) The deceased's elder sister tendered what seemed like a half-hearted apology on the family's behalf.

What happened in Imo State is reminiscent of the stories that feature on Nkan 'Nbe, a popular Yoruba TV Program that features latter-day mystical occurrences. The Imo incident provides a compelling and cogent rationale for the effective regulation of the nefarious activities of churches whose stock in trade is to constitute public nuisance and to deceive and hypnotize the gullible. As a direct result of this incident, some Mbaise communities have proscribed the activities of Pentecostal churches in their localities.

All eyes are on the Imo State Police Command to see how they would handle this issue, and ensure that measures are put in place to deter future sinister activities perpetrated under the banner of religion.

End times!!!: Meet The Man Who Thinks He Is Jesus Christ, Dresses like Jesus (Photo)

Posted: 09 Jan 2014 02:43 AM PST

Inri dresses like Jesus, says his mission is to prepare the elect for the formation of the new earthly society, which will strive to fulfill the Creator's will.
He has spent 35 years preaching and has 'hundreds of followers' from around the world, including the UK, Britain and France, some of whom live with him at his 'church' compound outside Brasilia.

As 'Jesus reborn', he gave himself the name Inri which means - Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews' and Christo which means - Christ. More photos when you continue

But despite seeing himself as Jesus reborn, Inri refuses to celebrate Christmas saying it is just a day where 'the rich humiliate the poor'.'It is a day when the little sons of the rich can show the gifts they received while the poor children only get a crumb,' he said. 'So it is a very sad day for anyone who sees things with the eyes that I see.'

Inri says he first experienced the 'revelation' that he was Christ during a religious fast in Santiago, Chile, in 1979. Since childhood he had been following a powerful voice that 'speaks in his head' but it was only on this occasion that it told him:

'I am your Father. The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob.'
He now runs his own church, the 'Soust' (Suprema Ordem Universal da Santmssima Trindade), located on a lush farmland outside of Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, which he calls the 'New Jerusalem'. He and his followers survive on homegrown fruit like bananas, avocados and mangos as well as a vegetable garden. There's also a chapel where Inri speaks to his followers every Saturday morning and a kennel for the dogs that guard the complex.

Critics believe he is mentally ill - an accusation he firmly denies. He said: I can be crazy but not dumb. Madness is different from dementia. It is the mother of philosophers, prophets and inventors.
