(Mrs) Folake Achudume, who doctors have confirmed dead has resurrected before she could be buried. The woman while narrating her story and testifying to the goodness of God in the presence of their congregation, said she was already confirmed dead by doctors and narrated how her spirit left her body and what she saw in another realm. Her husband also said, when doctors told him, his wife was dead has a result of the operation because she bled to death, said she didn't die but went on a visit in faith. Below is part of what she said while giving her testimony. "What I experienced was like being a drama piece. I saw myself coming out of my body, and going into a white cloud. I didn't know where I was going, but I was asked to look down, only to see my husband, children been consoled, as my burial was been planned. I saw people crying." "Later, I stretched my hand and I was taken to a glorious place, where I saw people in white garment welcoming me, telling me to come in. I joined them, but a big hand stretched out, with a voice saying the place is not for me," "I later found myself in another place, more glorious and beautiful, I was not allowed in again, but I was taken to a third place, where I was not allowed again. Then a voice came telling me to look down, and told me I should return to where I was coming from, but I was struggling to join the group. Then I heard a thunderous voice and it was at that point my eyes opened." "I stand to tell you that God has power over death. The consultants had confirmed that I bled to death after the operation. If you understand what I went through you will realise that life is vanity. By that experience everything in life to me has lost value. Posted: 08 Jan 2014 07:22 AM PST  Controversial Lagos miracle pastor Pastor Ofuche Ukoha, popularly known as Dr. Sign Fireman, has been arrested by Lagos police over alleged ritual murder of a 12 year old girl. Sahara Reporters reports... "Sign Fireman has been implicated in a ritual murder scandal involving a boy in his church who strangled a 12 year old girl while trying to obtain feces from her for ritual purposes. The disclosure of Pastor Fireman's involvement in the scandal was made by an eighteen year old boy paraded by the police in Lagos. The teenage suspect stated during the parade that he was sent on the ritual mission by Pastor Fireman.He said he had always dreamt of becoming rich and had approached the pastor personally, after years of attending the church without his own financial miracle happening, Mr. Fireman reportedly told him the way to get his Sign for finance was to get the feces of a virgin girl. The suspect said Pastor Fireman promised him a reward of N100,000 for the assignment. The suspect narrated how he sought and killed the 12 year old girl simply named "Bose", the daughter of poor lady on his street. Confirming the incident to a Lagos correspondent this morning, Lagos Police PRO, Mrs. Ngozi Braide said Pastor Fireman was arrested on Tuesday five days after he was declared wanted by the police. She said investigation has commenced regarding his involvement. She also said the outcome of the investigation would soon be made public. With his church receiving hordes of miracle seekers every weekend, Pastor Fireman's church auditorium at Aguda, Surulere area of Lagos is reportedly notorious for using semi-nude female ushers.  |
| Half N*ked women protest against Shell in Bayelsa! [PHOTO] Posted: 08 Jan 2014 06:34 AM PST  Hundreds of half-n*de women in Peremabiri community in Bayelsa State, Niger Delta, yesterday, staged a protest against non-implementation of an existing agreement by Shell. The women disrupted movement of workers into the oil platforms and boat houses operated by Shell in the area, alleging non-implementation of the memorandum of understanding Shell entered into with the community. The protesting women tied red cloth to block the entrance to the oil platform located within the community. They further alleged that Shell had failed to redeem the two-year-old promise to replace a faulty community generator, renovate existing community school and provide potable water for its host community. Some of the women carried placards with various inscriptions such as "Shell: Give us Light", "Implement MoU or go", "We need water, Light, School for our children" among others. The protesters claimed that the oil firm had adopted delay tactics to avoid providing the amenities which they said were time-bound. Reacting to the development, the spokesman for Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, Precious Okolobo, urged the aggrieved women to adopt the spelt-out channel of addressing their grievances. "The SPDC has continued to work with the Peremabiri community on the implementation of the MoU in their area. The MoU model has provision for addressing grievances." On the broken down generator at Peremabiri, Okolobo said SPDC procured a new set that is being transported to the area for installation and commissioning. He said the set was twice the capacity of the bad one, and would be commissioned as soon as possible. "The Bayelsa State Government and MoU Cluster Development Board are aware of the situation and are engaging the Community Development Committee," Okolobo said. Slamet, from East Java, is believed to be suffering from neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition which causes uncontrollable growths along the nerves. According to his brother Suwadi, the 59-year-old had a tumour removed from his waist in 1991. But six months later tumours began to form all over his face and body. Years later the condition has become intolerable and Slamet suffers constant pain throughout his body. Recently the tumours have started blocking his nostrils, making it difficult for him to breath   Neurofibromatosis is the name for a number of genetic conditions that cause swellings or lumps. Although many people who have the condition inherit it from one of their parents, up to 50 per cent develop it randomly from a gene mutation before they are born. Despite their alarming appearance, the growths and swellings - called neurofibromas and caused by a growth of cells - are not cancerous or contagious.         In November a photo of Vinicio Riva, who also has neurofibromatosis, spread across the world when he was warmly embraced by Pope Francis at one of the pontiff's weekly audiences in St Peter's Square. Posted: 08 Jan 2014 05:32 AM PST The police in Lagos State, yesterday, said they have arrested an 18-year-old boy, Ikechukwu Friday, who allegedly killed a 12-year-old girl for money ritual. The suspect, who is currently being interrogated at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, was paraded before newsmen. According to him, a pastor he asked for money instructed him to kill a young girl and obtain her faeces. He said the pastor promised him N100,000 if he was able to accomplish the task. According to him, "I attend a popular church around Ketu Street, Aguda but I live with my parents in Badagry. I just finished secondary school and I have been very broke so I approached the pastor for money but he told me that I should strangulate a little girl. "He said when strangulating the girl, she would pass out faeces. The pastor said I should obtain the faeces and bring it to him. He said if I could do this, he would give me N100,000. "So, on December 30, 2013, I approached a young girl, Bose Ogoja. Her mother sells food in Badagry and I usually patronise them, so she trusted me. I told the girl that I wanted to show her something and that she should follow me. So I took her to an abandoned NITEL building and locked the door. "I pressed her neck tightly and she passed out faeces. I was, however, not able to get the faeces because I was caught before I could escape." The suspect, an indigene of Onitsha, Anambra State, pleaded for mercy, adding that this was his first crime. State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said the boy was arrested by neighbours in the area and handed over to the Badagry Police Division. Braide said the pastor, who allegedly gave the boy the instruction, had been arrested and was already cooperating with the police. While displaying the gruesome picture of the slain girl, Braide said: "He was arrested in an uncompleted building. The security guard manning the building told the police that he saw the boy entering the building with the girl. "He said a few minutes later, he heard the girl screaming and later saw the boy leaving. The security guard raised the alarm and the neighbours were alerted and they arrested the boy." On entering the building, the discovered that the girl was dead. "The picture of the girl's corpse shows that the girl was naked and defecated on the floor." Meantime, the police also arrested a 39-year-old, Michael Udom, for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to the company he worked for. According to the police, the suspect attempted to sell the vehicle for N250,000 in the Ijora Badia area of the state but was arrested before he could do so. The suspect, however, denied the allegation, saying he took permission from his boss before taking the bus home with him. He said, "I work with a courier company. After the close of work on December 25, 2013, I told my manager that I wanted to use the vehicle to pack things from my house and he agreed. Shortly after parking the vehicle, someone called me from my house saying he wanted to buy the vehicle. "I refused and told them that I could not sell the vehicle without the company's consent. However, I did not know a policeman was there. He also posed as a buyer and arrested me." vanguard  |
| Ondo State Lawmaker Narrowly Escape Death In assassination attempt! [PHOTOS] Posted: 08 Jan 2014 04:57 AM PST  An Ondo State House of Assembly member, Soji Akinkurolere, survived an assassination attempt on Monday January 6th at his home in Okitipupa in Ondo state thanks to one of his trusted aides. According To Reports from SaharaReporters, Mr Akinkurolere's aide foiled the assassination attempt when 5 gunmen raided the lawmaker's private residence. Akinkurolere escaped with his family, without harm. "I was on the other side of the road when I saw a vehicle parked some distance from the residence with men inside," a neighbor in Okitipupa told SaharaReporters. "I was surprised when I saw a man, whom had been sitting in the front seat of the car, come down from the residence and start making phone calls. Immediately he dropped the calls, he tapped the other guys seated in the back seat and they headed to the home of Honorable Akinkurolere. The last thing I heard was sporadic gunshots." Gunmen searched the residence for an hour and caused property damage to buildings and vehicles with their random shooting. SaharaReporters called the lawmaker and his family for comment, but calls were were not returned. Okitipupa Divisional Police Station would not comment on the assassination attempt, but vehicles belonging to the Assemblyman, marked with bullet holes, could be seen parked outside. A source said the case had been turned over to the criminal investigation department at Command Headquarters in Akure.  Sahara Reporters read the statement given by the suspect in which he wrote he did not send anyone to kill the lawmaker. In the same statement, the suspect said he was both a supporter of the lawmaker, helping him win his assembly seat, and a frequent critic of the lawmaker on social media.  |

Gov Adams Oshiomole and his entourage were passing by and as usual, he was on foot while his cars were on the move.Some little children who were hawking saw him and took to their heels but a little girl hawking Plantain chips stood crippled with fear and unable to run.As the Governor got to where the girl was standing, he looked at her, brought out his pen and wrote her a 1 million naira cheque. Excitedly, she threw her plantain chips away and began to scream with joy, and at same time thanking the governor for his kindness and generosity! If our Big man can be doing this, i can see us Moving Forward What ur view on this???  |
