Stella Damaus and Dorris Simeon Ex husband Living Together, Also Spent the New Year Eve together! [PHOTOS]

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 12:14 PM PST

It appears that Stella Damasus and Dorris Simeon Ex hubby, Daniel Ademinokan kinda spent the New Year together in New Jersey.

Though reports claim the two are actually living together, both of them are kinda insisting that they don't.
Stella some days posted some photos on her Instagram page, obviously excited about the New year eve and the 'snow' and even though she careful left out the fact that she was with Daniel, it wasn't difficult to figure: Daniel gave them away when he posted his photos too - same location, same 'snow' etc.

Oh by the way, they are carrying out the 21 day fasting together, how sweet.

'My Husband's Family Supports Pictures i Post Online, I'm Still a Born-Again' – Maheeda Brags!

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 11:55 AM PST

Read excerpts from this new interview in which she says her husband is aware of her n*des ,she is still born-again and friends with Donjazzy, Olamide and Phyno It is deliberateThe pictures are not targeted at anything. It is all about attention and there is no mistake about it. This business of music is called show-business and I am convinced I am on the right track. I owe no apologies. I just realized this way will be a faster hit than any other way.
The pictures are working form As you can see, there's so much attention on me. All of a sudden, people want to listen to my old singles and are looking forward to my debut album. In this life, everybody gets criticized whether you do good or bad. I have read and heard so much about me that I am now used to it. Thanks to them, they have helped me develop a thick skin.
Relationship
I am married and my husband is Dutch. What I am doing is not alien to him or his family and he understands. I met him at a bar when he just came to Nigeria. We are happily married. Even before we got married, he understood my kind of person. He was aware of my vision. He has always been supportive. He just laughs whenever he comes across any of my pictures. It's in Africa that we attach much importance to such things and consider it sacrilegious.

I am 31 and I had my daughter when I was 17. I do not think this is going to affect her in any way. If my mother did something like this; there is no way it would have affected me. My daughter is not even aware these unclad pictures exist even though she has seen pictures of me in bikini. She is not even allowed access to the social media. Even if she gets to view them eventually, it's not going to mean anything to her because she has the European mentality. When my daughter is 18, then she can decide what she wants. Currently, she is under my care and I won't let her do what I am doing.
Friendship
I have quite a few of them. Don Jazzy is my friend, Olamide and Phyno just to mention but a few. Gospel artistes? No, but I became a born-again Christian and decided that I wanted to continue with secular music. Whether people accept it or not, I am a born-again Christian and that is why I describe my music as honest music. I am not perfect but I'm just living my life in the best possible way.

Till death did them part? Skeletons Found 'Embracing' In The Grave! [PHOTO]

couples embrace

For years researchers in the Novosibirsk region of Siberia have puzzled over dozens of ancient grave sites containing bodies buried face to face, some seemingly with hands clasped as if in an eternal embrace.

But soon DNA tests may help provide an answer to the key question: Are these the graves of star-crossed lovers, or could the remains be evidence of a gruesome ancient custom?

The bodies are part of a massive burial ground located in the Siberian village of Staryi Tartas, the Siberian Times reported. Altogether, close to 600 tombs have been discovered in the area, dozens of which contain the so-called "embracing" couples.

The graves are believed to belong to the Andronovo culture, which existed in the area during the second and first millennia B.C.E., according to Britannica. Yet many of the bodies in the graves are believed to be from the 15th, 16th and 17th Centuries B.C.E., the Siberian Times reported.

So, what gives?

"We can fantasize a lot about all this," Vyacheslav Molodin, an archaeology and ethnography expert at the Russian Academy of Sciences, told the Siberian Times. "We can allege that husband died and the wife was killed to be interred with him as we see in some Scythian burials, or maybe the grave stood open for some time and they buried the other person or persons later, or maybe it was really simultaneous death."

Molodin said he ultimately hopes new rounds of DNA testing will help determine the relationship between the buried couples. For example if it turns out some of the bodies are parents and children, the burials might be an example of an emerging family unit in Adronovo culture, he explained.

"We need to firstly establish unequivocally the kinship of those who were buried," Molodin told the Times. "Until recently archaeologists had no such opportunity, they could establish only the gender and age. But now as we have at our disposal the tools of paleogenetics, we could speak about establishing the kinship."

However, the couples buried in Siberia aren't the only ones that have sparked debate.

In 2007, the bones of a man and a woman from 6100 B.C.E., seemingly locked in a loving embrace, were unearthed in a Turkish grave. While some researchers claimed the remains belonged to a pair of lovers, other scientists scoffed at the notion.

"We don't know what happened there," Yossi Garfinkel, of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Institute of Archaeology, told National Geographic at the time. "Maybe they are just two people who died on the same day and were buried together. Maybe it's a brother and sister who died in a plague. Maybe it was two men."

A similar couple was unearthed several years ago in Italy. That Neolithic couple, believed to have lived between 5,000 and 6,000 years ago, caused an international sensation when the two were discovered near the city of Verona, the setting of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Reuters reported.

Former Nigerian footballer Converts to Islam!

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 09:19 AM PST

Former Nigerian footballer and Mohammedan SC coach Emeka Ezeugo  announced that he has embraced Islam after being inspired by the life of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).

Emeka went to a Muslim cleric last week along with Mohammedan manager Amirul Islam, his former team-mate Kaiser Hamid, Zaker party leader Amir Faisal and club official Abu Hasan Prince to convert to Islam.

The former footballer, who represented Nigeria in the 1994 World Cup after playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club for nearly a decade, said he feels honoured to be a follower of the great prophet who he thinks is the greatest among all messengers of god.

'I am always a curious person and studied different religions when I found the life of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) very inspiring,' Emeka told New Age on Monday.

Emeka, who now has taken a new name Mustafa Mohammed, claimed that his family has accepted his decision, though they all are members of Roman Catholic Church.

'I am a grown up man brother. I am free to make my own decisions. None of my family members protested the decision,' said Emeka.

Emeka, however, said that the large number of friends he made in Bangladesh is like his family and they gave him good support in making the decision.

'Bangladesh is my second home and I have some friends here who are like my brothers. They helped me in making the decision,' Emeka said.

Emeka, 44, said he could not express his feeling about becoming a Muslim and felt like a Bangladeshi and it became stronger after converting to Islam. His life has become more disciplined as he has to offer prayers more now and follow some other rituals of the religion.

'I have just planted a seed and now I have to nourish it into a tree. I know that I will discover many good sides of this decision with time but at this moment I can say the religion has made my life more disciplined,' said Emeka.

He added that he will apply for a new passport with his new name once he returns to his home in Nigeria.

JUST IN! Rivers State High court bombed! [PHOTO]

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 07:19 AM PST

A High Court has been bombed in Ahoada East Local Government Area, Rivers State, according to reports from the oil rich state, located in the Niger Delta.

The bombing of the court where Justice Charles N. Wali usually holds court, reportedly occurred on Monday morning a few hours before a politically charged suit against Hon Evans Bipi, a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly and leader of a group of 6 lawmakers, who has been unlawfully parading himself as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Justice Wali had about a month ago ordered Bipi to stop parading himself as Speaker of the House as the tussle over control of the state government between loyalists of the Presidency and the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, lingers with an end in sight.

No casualties have been reported over the bombing as at the time of filing this report.

Wizkid Finally Reacts To 'Not Being Nominated At The HEADIES 2013'

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 06:23 AM PST

Wizkid got just one nomination at the just concluded HEADIES and that has sparked a lot of controversies. A lot of people felt Wizkid ruled the airways in 2013, especially with his international awards, and wonder why he got just one nomination in the HEADIES. None of his 2013 songs (Jaiye jaiye, Caro, Back to the matter, Lagos to Soweto) got any nomination, and the singer himself was only nominated under the 'Artiste of the year' category.
His fans have been complaining, some presenters on Tv have also talked about it. But Wizkid decided to break the silence yesterday when he tweeted that, his fans see and appreciate all the work and that's enough award to last him a life time. He also said, his New Year resolution is to stay happy. Lol.

WOW! World’s ‘most expensive’ bar soap Made Of pure gold dust! [PHOTOS]

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 05:45 AM PST

A bar of soap produced by a family-run business in Lebanon might make you think twice about washing too often.
The "most expensive soap in the world," made of pure gold dust, olive oil and virgin honey and embedded with diamonds, was unveiled by Khan Al-Saboun Bader Hassoun and Sons at the Qatar Pool and Spa 2013 at the Doha Exhibition Centre yesterday.
Weighing around 100gm and with a price tag of $3,800, the soap dubbed 'Qatar Royal Soap' with the word 'Qatar' in Arabic inscribed on it, is being dedicated to Qatar and its great achievements in many fields, especially in winning the bid to host the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
Khan Al-Saboun Bader Hassoun and Sons chairman Dr Bader Hassoun explained that the soap was specially made for royalty aside being beneficial for the skin due to its natural and organic contents.
"Our company, based in Lebanon, has been known for specialising in natural and organic beauty products for years and we have very committed patrons due to this specialisation," said Dr Hassoun, whose family has been in the soap making business for over eight centuries.
He said that the soap, though highly valued, has not been produced for commercial purposes, though it was earlier reported that it will be available for sale in Al-Saboun City Center – one of the company's six branches in Qatar.
"We have made only this one piece in order to showcase our capabilities for inventions in soap making and just to express our respects for royalty. So, the soap will not be for sale," he maintained.

Lebanese singer Reem al-Sherif was present at the launch.

MUST READ! A True life story of a 26 year-old Nigerian whose kidney was stolen in Malaysia!

Posted: 06 Jan 2014 05:16 AM PST

I met this young man by chance and he told me his true life story and I just had to share with you all..I had to beg him to let me share it but remove names and all....It's touching and shocking and I hope we all learn..
I'm 26 years old and last year after graduating from one of the Polytechnics in Nigeria, I couldn't get a job.I needed to travel out of the country to better my life of that of my family.I planned on going to Turkey but fell into the hands of dupes who gave me fake documents and I was thrown out of the Turkish embassy during my interview and almost got arrested.
Standing outside, I met an old acquaintance,a  young guy I met through a mutual friend. I found myself telling him about my plight and how I had been duped into paying for fake documents.I told him how my dad sold his plot of land to ensure I traveled. How was I going to tell them their money went down the drain?
He then told me the best thing was to tell them I got the visa , so when my dad sends money for my flight ticket, I use it to go to Malaysia. He said he had an agent who would help me and also give me a job once I get there. He said several guys had gone to Malaysia too.
I told my excited parents that I got the Visa and would need money for my flight.  I raised 600 thousand naira which was sent to the agent I had never met and was given a 1 month visa . I got to Malaysia expecting to see the agent but never did. It was 3 weeks, no job,and paying my hotel bill, I had exhausted all my money. The so-called agent I had been calling suddenly switched off his phone. It was one week to the expiration of my visa.
So I decided to step-out and find other Nigerians who could help me.I was unsuccessful as the two guys I knew way back in Nigeria were club bouncers and had no connections. Was shocked because they claimed to be big boys.
I was on my way back from one of my unsuccessful outings.I  was wondering what to do when a short Indian man intercepted me."Hello my friend  you looking for a job? I have a job for you.How will you like to earn 3 thousand dollars a month ? I was speechless"" He told me '"Lets go and have a drink and talk about it"
I was so happy..He took me to a spot not far from where we met.It was like a private house and I saw two other Black boys who the man introduced me to saying they were also beneficiaries of the job.I was just about to ask what the job was when a waiter brought me a drink and he told me to give him a minute to bring papers which would show me my job description.
I don't know what happened next .I found myself in an uncompleted building.I was confused at first and felt i was dreaming. But the cold was unbearable to be a mere dream and the sharp pain on the side of my belly was too intense to be real .I saw my shoes on the floor .I was confused. How did I get here? What about the job? Did I loose my chance by getting too drunk? Then I recalled I didn't drink alcohol.
I decided to put on my shoes when I noticed my legs were so swollen my shoes didn't size me anymore..
I left the place with no money in my pocket, didn't even know where I was.I tried to ask some Arabs to help but noone even listened to me. As I kept walking, I saw 2 security men and walked up to them. They were Nigerians and after telling them about my plight, they took pity on me and asked me to sleep in the factory where they worked for the night .They gave me some pain killers to relieve me.But advised me to go for a test the next day. The next day I told them I had no money to even go for a checkup and I was probably going to be deported as I had just one week for my visa to expire.
The elderly one told me there was a job opening as a life guard at some private beach. I couldn't be more grateful.
I took up the job but the reoccurring belly ache which I kept suppressing with pain killers was getting more intense.
Then after rescuing someone who almost drowned, the intense stress which accompanied that made me fall ill.And after several tests, they couldn't ascertain what was wrong with me.I had used up all the little money I earned from my job as a life guard and I had no option but to give myself up to the authorities so I could be deported since I couldn't pay for my flight ticket .
I returned to Nigeria seriously ill and my parents took me from one hospital to the other and they couldn't detect what was wrong with me.We went to several prayer houses even very popular miracle pastors who claimed it was evil people from my village chasing me.Destiny killers they said.I was ordered to fast for 21 days and four days later I collapsed .
Then my father ran into an old classmate who owned a hospital. He told him about my plight and he told my dad to bring me over.
He ordered a full scan to be run on me and while I was alone, he came to me and said" Young man, why did you have one of your kidney's removed?" I was shocked 'My Kidney? Sir I don't get". He smiled"At least if you want to have your kidney removed, do it well. You must have earned a few millions from it so what did you do with the money ? Why didn't you treat yourself properly?"""
I was confused and i insisted i knew nothing and he showed me the scan.Yes one kidney was missing. He also said the closure was perfectly done and skin was used to cover up the stitch. He said only Indians did such perfect cover-ups.After insisting there was a mistake somewhere ,the doctor said the fact was one of my kidneys was removed and he told me the dangers of selling my kidney which many Nigerian youths do these days to make quick cash
I was in tears and I told him I didn't know what he was talking about then I recalled the Indian man I met who told me he had a job for me .
It hit me that that man had me drugged and took me to an unknown place and had my kidney removed and then dumped me in that building.
Now I'm a 26 year old man who put my parents through hell and I'm now living on one kidney and very ill.
I keep hoping this one doesn't develop a problem. I want youths to be careful of where they go to and who they interact with, I just found-out its a cartel and several African jobless youths have been trapped and have their kidneys removed without their knowledge..
