Posted: 11 Jan 2014 06:56 AM PST ![]() Thing Dey Happen For Naija o Last Friday, over 1,000 Muslims gathered at the Ilogbo Central Mosque, Lagos, to see the alleged mysterious face of a Moslem cleric, Alfa Sheikh Ibrahim Niass, who died 39 years ago. According to Vanguard, an eye witness who simply gave his name as Mustapha said the mysterious appearing of Niass was a blessing to Muslims and Nigeria. Mustapha said: "I went to the Ilogbo Central Mosque and saw a huge crowd, both Muslims and Christians. I saw people using "Pure Water" to wash some parts of the Mosque, and allowing the water to fall into their container. Those without container used handkerchief in cleaning the wall before using it on their body, saying it will heal their sickness. "The face of late Alfa Niass was just appearing on different parts of the wall at Ilogbo Central Mosque, and shortly it will disappear. As at 1pm (on Friday) that I got here, the crowd was too much. Even when the police saw the crowd that came, they had to go back. Some of us who had wanted to pray in the mosque could no longer pray because of the crowd.A reporter with Vanguard who went to the scene saw the face of the cleric on the wall of the said Mosque on Friday afternoon, but was informed that the face started appearing since Thursday night.

SEE Popular Pastor makes members eat grass, marches on them all (PHOTOS, VIDEO) Photos that follow show dozens of people getting sick in the toilets - an image of the bathrooms show women clutching their stomach, while the men are vomiting in the sink. A news paper reports that during a service of at least 1,000 people in a marquee Daniel screamed 'sleep' and six people went to sleep. He ordered other congregants to slap and trample on them, tut the sleepers remain rigid and unresponsive until he ordered them to wake up. 'You can leave them like this for six months. I love this, I don't want to be bored. You can even make police go to sleep when they come to arrest you,' he said.Although Daniel has not responded to the backlash that followed the report of his members eating grass and falling sick as a result, yesterday he posted on Facebook: 'God is at work and His people are testifying right now at the farm. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.' |
Photos:: Pregnant man gives birth to a baby girl (MUST SEE) Posted: 11 Jan 2014 05:37 AM PST ![]() The first baby to be born to transgender parents in Argentina was delivered via C-section in the province of Entre Ríos. The proud parents are 26-year-old Alexis Taborda and 28-year-old Karen Bruselario. Alexis was born a woman, but lives as a man and Karen was born a man, but lives as a woman. Because of Argentina's Gender Identity Law passed in May of 2012, the couple have both been able to legally change their genders without gender reassignment surgery, which meant that when they got pregnant via natural means, it was the man, Alexis, who carried the baby. So what about the baby? t. Alexis started having contractions the weekend before the scheduled birth, and the baby was born "early" weighing 9.37 pounds (that's a big baby) at Hospital Fermín Salaberry in Victoriain. The couple named their baby girl Génesis Evangelina. I wish this family much strength, love, and perseverance. They have a tough road ahead of them. Both Alexis and Karen are unemployed at the moment. Even during the pregnancy, they faced economic trials. At five months of pregnancy, Alexis had to go out and sell roscas on the street while Karen sold food for money. They are grateful for all the help and gifts they have received from not only friends, but strangers as well. Alexis and Karen do not only hold the distinction of being the first transgender couple to give birth in Argentina they are also the first transgender couple to have gotten married while the groom was pregnant. They officially tied the knot in November.
SEE The 9-year-old intelligent girl who passed her WAEC exams Posted: 11 Jan 2014 05:26 AM PST 9-year-old intelligent girl Anjola Victoria who passed her WAEC exams the November/December 2013 West African Examination Council (WAEC) Her Interview with the Sun Newspapers, Batoku shared her success story. I am aware you wrote last GCE exams. What was your experience during the period? I studied a lot during the period of the exam. I even had to study books that were for SS3 students. I also studied the oldest past questions of the GCE examination that I could lay my hands on because the older the questions, the harder they are. How did you register for GCE considering your tender age? I burst into tears when the computer rejected me as being too young to register for GCE. I had to increase my age by five years before I could register for the exam. What was the impression of other candidates at the exam centre? No one believed that I was a candidate let alone give me the opportunity to write the exam; not even the examiners allowed me into the exam hall until I passed the biometric test. Some candidates were mocking me, others called me names "over-ambitious girl, wait for your time".What was your Exam registration number? My Exam number was 5250802098How old were you when you registered for the exam? I was eight years old when I was preparing for the exam. I was eight when I wrote the French Oral exam then I clocked 9 before I wrote the English exam.GCE is a tough examination for a child of your age. Was it very easy or very hard? It was actually easy but the difficult part of the English exam was the summary aspect. What were your grades in the exams? I registered for seven papers but only wrote two, English and French because I readily had teachers in those two subjects, dad and mum. I made C5 in French Language and C6 in English Language.Did your school participate in grooming you for the examination? My school was not aware I was writing the exam. But what I learnt from school also played a part, so in a way, my school participated. Even my parents got to know about my registration for the exam after my brothers helped me complete the process. My parents who are both Lawyers felt it was a daring joke considering my age but decided to groom me for the exam. The had degrees in English and French respectively before reading Law.Why did you write only English and French? I wrote only English and French because by the time I made up my mind to register for the exams, time was not on my side. I had teachers in those two subjects only: mum and dad.Do you speak so much French? How did you make C5 in French? I don't speak much French but my dad does. He had first and second degrees in French before reading Law. I am the former Miss French of my school. Every year, my school organises a French day and "Miss French" and "Master French" pageant is the main event for the day. I am always involved in any French related activity in my school. I am the current Head Girl of the school. Was French easier than English? Why did you perform better in French than English? French was not easier than English, but interestingly, I had more confidence than ability in French and the reverse was the case in English. I love French. I am an active member of French Club in my school. Daddy always told me Paris is a beautiful city. I heard of the famous French proverb "See Paris and die" and I wish to see it one day.Did you receive special lessons in preparation for the exam? Yes I did, in a way my dad who is a bilingual lawyer and a former French teacher was my French teacher and my mum who is a Chief Magistrate was my English teacher. How did you feel when you passed the examination? I felt very happy when I passed the exam but I was a bit disappointed by the result because I expected B2 or B3 in English Language.Do you have a social life? Yes I have a social life. I love dancing. I win best dancer's competition at most birthday parties and social functions. How do you relax? I play games on my dad's ipad. I relax by watching television or swimming. I also enjoy reading storybooks and science encyclopeadia. What do you want to become in future? My dream is to be a medical doctor in the future, if possible be the youngest medical doctor in the history of Nigeria. What message do you have for children of your age? I advise children of my age to cultivate the reading culture and be ready to learn and show seriousness in their studies because having the right attitude is better than hard work and knowledge. When there is a will, there is a way.

Amazin! Dead Man Suddenly WAKES UP in Mortuary Leaving Staff in Shock (Photo+Video) Posted: 11 Jan 2014 04:57 AM PST Hospital staff have been left in shock after a dead Kenyan man woke up in the mortuary. Suicide victim Paul Mutora, 24, had been confirmed dead for between 15 to 20 hours before Naivasha District Hospital workers made the chilling discovery. KTN Kenya said that several mortuary attendants 'took to their heels' when Mr Mutora woke up inside one of the mortuary chambers where he was due to be embalmed and started calling for help. Mr Mutora, from Limuru, had been rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead after drinking insecticide following an argument with his father. Hospital superintendent Dr Joseph Mburu said that the anti-poison drugs given to Mr Mutora upon arriving in the hospital may have been responsible for giving the false impression of death. He said: "The effect of atropanes can sometimes cause slowing of heart rate and dilution of the pupils. "These two observations are used to make the conclusion that someone has lost their life." Mr Mutora is now recovering from his ordeal in a ward after being transported back by staff. According to All Africa, Mr Mutora said: "This was a mistake from the start. "I apologise to my father as I prepare to go and take care of my wife and child." Although doctors say that Mr Mutora is now out of danger family members blame the hospital for being careless. An investigation as to how a patient was pronounced dead when he was still alive has since been launched by the hospital. mirror
Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo Finally RESIGNS From PDP, Sends Letter to Tukur & Jonathan (Photo) Posted: 11 Jan 2014 03:18 AM PST Another bombshell has been released. And it comes from Obasanjo. Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo is tired of the PDP, this time to Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, the National chairman of the ruling People's Democratic Party, resigning his membership of the party. In the one-page letter dated 7 january, Read below: Dear Chairman, "While I believe that a good and truly national political party must be a microcosm of the nation in its membership, made up of all sorts of characters from near-saints to near-satan, I also believe that on no account should a known habitual criminal that is wanted abroad to face criminal charges levelled against him be extolled as a political leader in a respectable and wholesome nation-building political party. " Buruji Kashamu has been so extolled in PDP in South-West geo-political zone which I personally find unsavoury. Politics played by any national political party must have morality, decency, discipline, principles and leadership examples as cardinal practices of the party. I have attached here recent documents that clearly indicate that your extolled PDP Zonal Leader in the South-West zone of Nigeria and an indigene of Ogun State is, to say the least, not a credit to the party as a member, let alone being a zonal leader. "Since I stick in my practice of party politics to the hallowed and cherished principles enunciated above, I take this opportunity to let you know that while I continue to remain a card-carrying member of PDP, I cannot and I will not subscribe to a wanted habitual criminal being installed as my zonal leader in the party; a criminal for whom extradition has been requested by the US government. In the meantime, I will consider withdrawing my activity with PDP at local, state, zonal and national levels until the anomalous and shameful situation is corrected." Thank you. Yours Sincerely, Olusegun Obasanjo ![]()
