In fact, I would say it takes the grace of God for anybody to have scaled through what I experienced that night. I really thank God that I am still alive. Even for almost four days I was shaking. But I thank God that I wasn't killed and I was not even injured. They only damaged my car. They were five, and all of them were armed. They were between 21 and 22 years. They came in one old Gallant car. They just stopped at the middle of the road suddenly but thank God my car was strong. I drove my Touareg jeep that night. So, being a very strong car, there was no way they could have used their car to chase me, when I outsmarted them. But above all, I give glory to God. Didn't they attempt to shoot you? Yes, they did but God saved me. They even shot at all the tyres but they couldn't succeed in getting me. How did you now escape unhurt? It's only God that can explain that. Were you alone in the car? Yes, I was the only one in the car. That's what I think gave me the courage to move and push their car off the road. May be if another person were to be with me that night, the story might have not been the same. But there was a report that your wife, Mercy Aigbe was with you in the car? No, I was alone. I was going home from my hotel. But after the incident, I couldn't go again. The following day, I had to take the police to Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, where it was parked. The car was badly damaged, I spent about N500,000 to repair it. I thought the end has come that night when I saw the guys pumping their guns at me. It was like a dream. But something just touched my heart and said, "Lanre, move." That's how I moved and pushed their car away from the road. That's how they started shooting sporadically. It was when I got to Lagos Airport Hotel that I realized that all the tyres of the jeep have been damaged, and also part of the body. Immediately, I got back to my hotel, I told the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) officials that were stationed there what happened, and we all went back to the scene of the incident. But before we got there, they had all left with their car. Has there been any arrest concerning that? There is nothing like that but investigations are still in progress. And the police have not gotten any clue yet? Nothing yet. Do you suspect any foul play from any corner? There was nothing like that. I don't need to be thinking in that direction. I only need to continue thanking God for His mercy and protection.  | ||||

The musician is no longer dating the actress Pasuma confirmed this by saying, 'That is an old interview, am not planning any marriage at the moment and not with any actress, so there is nothing like that happening.' Posted: 09 Dec 2013 10:31 AM PST  Apart from the 120 different nationals of Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroid descent, who live and work at The Synagogue Church of all Nations, thousands also throng this wonder on earth every week to behold the man in The Synagogue, Prophet T.B Joshua. It is from these nationals that the four "wise men", namely, Wiseman Harry from Greece, Wiseman Racine Bousso from Senegal, Wiseman Christopher Orji from Nigeria and Wiseman Daniel Emelandu, also from Nigeria, emerged as subordinates, but equally anointed men of God to Prophet Joshua.  This move is seen worldwide as one of the biggest achievements of the church apart from the miracles which even the Wisemen perform. And till date, the church remains a spectacle in Nigeria. On approval, the visitor pays up front for his food, accommodation. At the supermarket and the bookstore at The Synagogue, the Dollar is a legal tender. Airport bus shuttle, intra city transportation, visits to the Prayer Mountain and the church, seminars and workshops are part of the excursion. Talking about the Prayer Mountain, it is a resort completely tucked away from the church at Agodo Egbe. It is a swampy area which has now been dredged and is navigable. While clearing the place, the animals in the bush and the fish in the water were left to live normally in their natural habitat. So, the tourists who come to this place feed the monkeys in the forest, roll on the white sand at the waterfront and generally feel the touch of nature while seeking spiritual answers to their numerous questions. At any point in time, it is not uncommon to see a squatting Thai, an American, South Africans, Koreans and some other Europeans and South Americans strolling up and down the superlative edifice known as The Synagogue Church of All Nations.  | ||||

Two brothers, born of the same parents, are currently at war. Serious war! The retired Army Generals are engaged in a bitter feud over a woman. Yes, the elder brother accused the younger one of snatching his wife, sleeping with her and painfully, asking him to go to hell, when confronted. The scandalous occurrence which is now the talk of the town – especially in the northern part of the country where they hail from and also among their friends, some of whom have already waded in without achieving any result, is indeed a scandal like no other. The woman at the centre of the messy drama has Ladi as her first name while the brothers have I and M kicking off their own names. Alphabet B begins their surname. The two brothers, at some point in this country, were very powerful and in charge of two sensitive positions. The marriage, contracted under Islamic rites in 1970, is now seriously threatened. Blessed with four children before the madness started, it's chances of surviving are now very slim. Pouring out his heart to a friend, the aggrieved elder brother stated that his younger brother capitalised on his constant absence from home, due to the nature of his job, to visit his home, seduce his wife and now both of them are sharing the woman. Besides constantly talking to her for hours on the telephone; spoiling her silly with expensive gifts and cash, the woman now spends more time with her brother in law than her husband. The most painful aspect of the whole sordid drama, YES International! gathered, is that both of them have developed thick skins to the murmurings of all the right thinking people who are amazed and flabbergasted by what they are doing. They've actually become so shameless and blatant with their romance. Describing his brother as a sex maniac, the matter has since polarised the family, with members now belonging to different camps. Confessing that he is still in love with the woman, who interestingly is one of his three wives, the elder brother has been reaching out to some respected and influential citizens of this country and begging them to plead with his younger brother to hands off his wife. Summing up his brother's immoral act as frightening and unacceptable in the context of their blood relationship, he lamented that the accused is deploying his vast connections to humiliate him, rubbish his marriage, denigrate the family's name, which he heads at the moment as the eldest male child and at the same time plunge the future of the products of the union into jeopardy. The last has certainly not been heard on the matter – especially with the younger brother and the woman not relenting; but instead are still waxing stronger and stronger. Damning everybody. Some people say the world is coming to an end...and maybe it is! For the first time in history, a country will have an openly gay man as both its Prime Minister and its Deputy Prime Minister. On Wednesday December 4th, openly gay talk show host, Xavier Bettel (pictured left) was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Luxemburg, while another openly gay man, Etienne Schneider, (pictured right) was made his deputy, making Luxemburg the first county in the world with gay men filling the top two spots in its government "People do not consider the fact of whether someone is gay or not. Sometimes it's not easy because you have some conservative persons, but there are always less and less and less. I think people vote for my character and they vote for my full party." Bettel saidAnd guess the first thing he's doing? Gay weddings. "Gay weddings will be done soon. At the moment in Luxembourg, we have to change the situation of marriage, religion and divorce laws. What kind of attraction, physical, emotional or spiritual. All of the above… She is like a gold fish which has no hiding place. I spotted her at a wedding. At what point did you know she was your wife? I can't say I knew she would be my wife the first day we met. We interacted a little. At a point, I just got to know she is reasonable, real, homely, God-fearing and above all, she is not perfect. And she knows I'm not either. I saw the prospect of her tolerating me. Later, I just decided to ask the big question, 'will you marry me?'
 How did you do it? I did it inside my car (laughs). And her answer was a big Yes! If she told you she said yes, it is understandably to please me. She didn't say an automatic yes. She didn't look at me seriously. That was when I knew I have a little personality problem. She couldn't differentiate Ime 'Bishop' Umoh from the artistic part of me. But I told her I was serious and then asked her again right inside my car. I don't spend long time in Uyo. So, whenever I saw her we had to drive round the town and our discussions were usually inside the car. It was also in my car. I asked her again, will you marry me? And she said a big yes!  How has married life been? Married life is nice o. For me, there is nothing more blissful than marriage, especially when you know you have made a good and perfect decision. There is also this inner joy that you are talking with someone you love and she loves you back for the rest of her life for who you are. What do you think is the sweetest thing about being married? Like I said, you feel more secured, you have a companion who is always there for you. Do you miss bachelorhood? I wouldn't say I don't miss bachelor life, but it is better to be married than being single when you are of age. What has being married hindered you from doing? I can't stay a day now without hearing from my wife. I don't have time for any other woman right now. And it will remain so forever, God being my helper. What is your prayer for this marriage? I pray for more of God's blessings and marital bliss. Our marriage will also be blessed with children. His wife, Idara Saviour is a third year student of Communication Arts, University of Uyo. She is in her early 20s. How did your path cross? We met at a wedding where he was the Master of Ceremonies. I was in the bridal train. After the ceremony, we had a chat and exchanged phone numbers. That was how it all started. How many kids are you guys looking at? Four, two boys and two girls. Does your husband make jokes for you at home? Yes. He makes me happy. If you are with him, you would be laughing and smiling all the time. Does Okon Lagos ever get serious at home? Of course, he acts like a normal person. You guys had to postpone your honeymoon because of your school and his work. Where would you be honeymooning, when you are ready? We are planning to go to the United Kingdom for our honeymoon.

These steps are 4 simple, practical and proven with results. We all love to gain some healthy weight and look good but nobody ever wants to feel fat - of course we all cant be Genevieve or Beyonce! So, are you driving close to the obese state and are in dire need of some control tips? 1. Some go on dieting or very strict diet regime to control obesity but that is not safe solution because after some days, boredom sets in and you just want to do away with the control regime . Maintain regular meal times and have balanced meals. Uncontrolled eating habits also contribute to weight gain. Also, include plenty of vegetables, fruits, fibre and whole grain products in daily diet foods as they digest easily. Drink lots of water. Whenever you feel hungry in between main meal prefer to have fruits especially juicy fruits or fruit juice preferably lemon, orange, carrot etc. Green salad is also healthier and filling compared to other options like junk. 2. Avoid or minimize sugar intake, avoid sweets, chocolates, pudding, cakes as all these lead to extra body calorie. In spite of sugar low calorie sweetener can be used. Honey can be used in juice or water which will help speed up metabolism. Avoid high fat milk products like cheese and butter. Always prefer to have white meat like fish, instead of red meat as they are low in fat content. Some herbs like mint, black pepper, ginger should not be exempted from your diet as they help in digestion as well as raising metabolism.Most importantly, remember to stay happy, mentally strong and continue positive efforts which will give positive result and good health. 4. Avoid Skipping Meals: If you think that skipping meals is a good way to lose weight then you are quite mistaken. In fact, skipping meals can make you more likely to gain weight. For instance, if you habitually miss breakfast then you are more likely to overeat at lunch or eat snacks throughout the day to compensate for the missed meal.   | ||||

| Manchester United FC Fan Commits Suicide After Newcastle Defeat [VIDEO] Posted: 09 Dec 2013 05:39 AM PST  A man believed to be a fan of Manchester United Football Club committed suicide Saturday night in Nairobi's Pipeline estate after the team lost 1-0 to Newcastle. Police said John Jimmy Macharia aged 23 jumped to his death from the 7th floor of a building he was after learning his team had lost in the Saturday evening match. According to Nairobi County police chief Benson Kibue, Macharia told his friends he could not stand and watch the team beaten in a row before he leapt down dying on the spot. "All witness accounts suggest he committed suicide because the team lost but officers are still talking to those who were with him as part of the investigations into the incident," he said. "It is not the first time we are losing a young man because of the football in England, which is far away from us. They need to know that is just a game," said Kibue. The body was later removed and taken to the mortuary by police who arrived there. Macharia is said to have landed on his head dying instantly. Manchester United slumped to their second home Premier League defeat in the space of four days as Yohan Cabaye's goal gave Newcastle a first league victory at Old Trafford since 1972.  | ||||
