Celine Dion Had IVF Seven Times For Her Children, and May Do it Again

45 years old Celine Dion, through the help of IVF, is mother to three boys, Rene-Charles, 12, and three-year-old twins, Nelson and Eddy. Celine Dion is married her manager René Angélil, 71, and has not ruled out ­trying for a baby again through the same means. Her first ­treatment, aged 33, was a ­success but she struggled to conceive a second time, According to the Mirror, she says of her experience;



"For the twins I did IVF six times one after the other.

"I'd done five years at Caesars Palace and went half a year around the world on tour and it was finally time to get pregnant again.

"I thought as long as my health permitted me and unless my doctor thought physically I couldn't do it, then I would go on with the IVF until someone told me to stop.

"With any pregnancy, whether it's through IVF or not, you feel a danger. You have to remain positive and try to relax as much as possible.

"I always say my children's first country is inside of me, so I try to make it a good one and be healthy."

"There's nothing that can top being a mother. I'd like more but I don't know.

"It's selfish to keep ­wanting more – although I would love a girl."

I personally find this inspiring, two unsuccessful IVF procedures took their toll on me, physically and emotionally, and I'm just beginning to think that I'll try again. To all the women out there trying for babies, and/or struggling with inferility, please consult as many doctors as you can, and do not discount medically proven avenues like IVF to help you become a mother. Twins Double Wedding - Set of Male Twins Married to Set of Female Twins on the Same Day

This is a higher level of grace of a double wedding, twins marrying twins. Here, the Okunnuyi female twins are getting married to the Okonweze male twins, and it looks like they are identical too. One set of male twins getting married to a set of female twins on the same day doesn't happen often as you can imagine, and since I love the idea of twins, I find it amazing.




I'll definitely love to read their love story, who met first, and how the relationships progressed. Congrats to them!

James is my first love, I am not his but I felt like it, he was evidently in love with me and all over me at the same time. We dated for approximately four years before he vanished. I just didn't hear from him, his mobile number never went through again, he had moved and i didn't smell him for good two years. Before the count of two years, I moved on, I met people, I made new friends and an exceptional man; Gregory.


I started dating Gregory shortly after James disappeared from my life. Gregory is the best man any woman could ask for, my family likes him, we have the same religious belief (unlike James, who after all still accepted me that way), he is extremely caring and generous to me. Of recent he established a business of over two million naira for me and he proposed , due to the love and  gratitude I have for him, I accepted and we are both looking forward to being together forever. He has started his own wedding plans already!

Less than 48 hours ago, I got a call from an unknown number and it was James. He told me he has been out of the country and he's back to settle down with me. He sounded just like the adorable man that was very much in love with me. I asked him why he didn't reach out to me for that long and he said my friend never gave him my right mobile no. 

I still love him, despite the hurt I felt when he vanished, I don't know what to do. James has been my better-half since I began to know what they call love, I never for once thought we would do without each other, yes we didn't see or hear from each other for over 20 months but I feel miserable right now. I don't know what to do! If  I let go of James again, I doubt if I will ever be happy and I won't forgive myself if I leave Gregory after all he has done for me and my family!

Please I am loosing my mind! I need help! I need opinions! I might just go crazy!

Ann Njemanze On Taking a Chance at Second Marriage With a Younger Man

Actress Ann Njemanze, was previously married to Segun Arinze, and in those days, they were one of the power couples of Nollywood. But they've been divorced for several years now, with Segun remarried and with a couple of children with his second wife. Recently, Ann Njemanze also got married and in this interview with Leadership Newspaper, she talks about how she met her husband, Silver Ojieson, how he proposed and the speculations that she is the older of the two.


How did you meet your husband?
My husband, Silver Ijieson is a lecturer. I met him at a lecture organized by the University of Lagos some 3 years back. Dr. Barclays Oyakeruma was supposed to give a lecture that day titled, 'Nollywood and its effect on globalization'. My colleagues who were at the lecture encouraged me to come back and further my studies, I gave the excuse of no time. But Dr Oyakeruma urged me to enroll so as to broaden my knowledge. So a senior colleague of mine, Martins Odaji introduced me to my husband and we exchanged pleasantries and he said that if I needed help with my studies, I should not fail to call on him. A year later we met at the point of registering for my program.



When did he propose?
He proposed to me early this year; he just said he was going to marry me. I took it for granted, like he was just joking about it. I never saw the possibility because then he did not know much about me. I thought he just saw a woman he could exchange a lot of ideas with. He proposed to me properly seven months later, he gave me a ring. He was shaking all over like a leaf. He is light complexioned, so as he was proposing, he was all read. I love him so much because he is very courageous.

Has he ever been married before?
No, he's never been married, no way. This is his last marriage in Jesus name. He is the only son of his parents too from Edo State.

Is he younger than you?

"Yes he is (younger), with a few years. My husband and I do not share up to 5 years difference and he is not bothered about it."

Do you regret your first marriage?
Regret it? My daughter is taller and finer than I am. She is the headgirl of her school. In less than 2 weeks, she is going for a photo shoot. At 16, she has started earning money. She is writing for a magazine and you ask if I regret it? I thank him (Segun Arinze)!! Without him I would not have met my Silver.

Are you not afraid that your marriage might crash again?
No! I reject it. We have our differences, just like other couples do, but it is not enough to say, we no do again. Before we got married, we told ourselves that divorce and separation are no option.
