Posted: 19 Nov 2013 01:39 PM PST  Late Tunji Okusanya Daughter in black leading pall bearers Just few days after burying his son who also died with him in the October 3rd plane crash, Late MIC Boss, Tunji Okusanya was yesterday buried at the Vaults and Garden in Ikoyi. The burial ceremony began with a wake keeping service on Sunday in GRA, while the funeral service held yesterday morning at St John's Anglican Church in Lagos Island before he was finally laid to rest. What a lot of people still don't understand is where the crowd that gathered at his funeral service came from. The church was full to the brim and the street still wasn't enough for sympathisers to stay. A lot of them came in black and were unable to control their tears as songs were rendered in his memory. | 13-Yr-Old Boy, Kills His Classmate Over Damaged Earphones!! Posted: 19 Nov 2013 08:28 AM PST  Kogi Police apprehended a 13-year-old boy, Yinusa Halilu, for allegedly killing his friend and classmate, Mustapha Kazeem, 12, over a damaged earpiece. The Acting Commissioner of Kogi Police Austin Evakhabokun informed about this crime while briefing the journalists in Lokoja on November 18, Monday. The ACP said that the fight ensued between the suspect and the deceased, both primary school pupils, when the suspect demanded the return of the earpiece he lent to the deceased. Halilu told late Kazeem that the earpiece was damaged and demanded monetary compensation from him. It has been learnt that the demand enraged the deceased, who reportedly called the suspect a thief. , adding that this resulted in an exchange of hot words, as Halilu insisted on collecting the money by force. Evakhabokun said that Kazeem became furious and rushed into the house, brought out a sharp cutlass and inflicted cuts on the suspect's head. He said that the suspect reportedly rushed to a nearby restaurant with his machete cuts and picked a sharp knife, with which he stabbed the deceased in the chest, leading to his death. The suspect said that he borrowed the telephone earpiece from someone, saying that he insisted on replacing it since he did not know what to tell the owner. Halilu said that the deceased hit him on his head with a machete, adding that in retaliation, he stabbed him in the chest, which led to his death. It would be noted that both of the boys were friends and studied at Primary Five.  | ||||

According to unconfirmed source,"It happened two weeks ago.Solomon was on a long drive to Abuja and was in sagamu when his car was flagged down by another car. He stopped and waited for the occupants who walked up to him..there was an elderly man smoking cigarette and two other men with guns. He hurriedly rolled up his car windows and overheard the older man instructing the younger ones to make it quick, They shot at solomon shattering his car windows and came to check if he was dead but the slightly wounded solomon played the role of a dead man. According to source, It was further confirmed that the actor was wounded and left sitting in his car in sagamu from 11am when it happened for about 5 hours all alone on that October 22nd day.The actor could not make calls because the men went away with his phones after checking to make sure he was dead. Solomon was rescued by a woman who alerted the Police and he was taken to a hospital where he was treated for his minor neck injuries. Tiwa and Tunji will on Saturday, November 23, 2013 be holding their traditional marriage ceremony at The Ark Vicinity located on Okunade Bluewater Zone, off Remi Olowude Street, Lekki. The nuptials will kick off at 9AM and last four hours followed by a reception at the same venue. | Posted: 19 Nov 2013 05:16 AM PST   Yesterday I brought you guys the video of Peter Okoye and Kaffy's personally dance at the wedding HERE. Well, Peter Okoye didn't initially plan to dance, the MC Gbenga Adeyinka coerced him into doing so by paying him N10,000. According to NET, when asked how much he was paid for his first show, Peter answered Gbenga Adeyinka that he was paid N7, 500. The comedian offered to pay Peter N10,000 for his to dance, an offer Peter gladly obliged. After doing a few moves, the rest of the crew (without Paul) joined Peter on stage and danced to their hit song 'Personally'.     Moving on to the guests, Aliko Dangote and Folorunsho Alakija, the richest man and woman in Africa also showed up at the wedding. While Alakija had arrived at the beginning of the occasion and left about an hour later for another event on the mainland, Dangote arrived just a few minutes past 9PM when many of the top dignitaries had left. Abike Dabiri-Erewa was also there to honour the couple.You see, despite the presence of security personals both from private security firms and men of the police force and armed forces 'area boys' made their presence known as they rushed to the car of well-known celebrities and hailed them. Funke Akindele and Don Jazzy attracted the most attention. On his part, Don jazzy threw some crispy naira notes at the area boys which almost led to a stampede as they scrambled for the cash. I told you that guests and journalists without their invitation cards were bounced and one of those affected was Soni Irabor. Well, ace broadcaster Sonny Irabor was almost refused entry into the venue. Irabor was dropped off at the entrance of the venue by his driver who then drove off to park. As he made to enter, the stern looking security guards who obviously did not recognize him refused him entry because he was without his invitation card. It took about 20 minutes for Irabor's driver to return with the invitation card. Besides the scary hefty-bodied security personnel from K-Square, the officers of the Nigerian Army were also on ground to maintain order.  And then twin brother Paul decided to sing a special wedding song dedicated to his brother and his new wife Lola. Paul invited a few members of their band who obviously were familiar with the tune, for the special acapella rendition of the song. After the song, Paul hugged Peter and said, 'I'm very proud of you my brother, congratulations.'
In conclusion, the performances were nothing short of exciting. Although there were many music celebrities who attended the event, only a few got to mount the stage to serenade the couple. Some of them were Flavour, KCEE, Iyanya, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, J Martins, Phyno, M.I, Lynxxx, Ice Prince and Naeto C.  | ||||

Tiwa has decided to take it all traditional. King Sunny Ade has confirmed he will be taking the band stand on Saturday to her. Tiwa wants something different for her special day, she wants it to be done like it's supposed to, a source said. Her wedding is also been planned by The Wedding Company, the same company that organized the weddings of Bella Adenuga and Basket Mouth.  | ||||

| Posted: 19 Nov 2013 03:35 AM PST  On Sunday, November 17, 2013, Lagos stood still for Psquare's Peter Okoye and fiancée Lola Omotayo as the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony, surprisingly elder brother Jude Okoye was missing. Social network has been buzzing. The twins' publicist Bayo Adetu tells NET Jude was missing at the wedding because he was stuck in Ghana. Psquare had performed in Accra, Ghana at the 'Glo and Bounce Slide' tour the night before. Adetu says Jude missed his flight and couldn't get back to Lagos in time for the nuptials. But a source who was part of another artiste's entourage to Ghana for the concert says Jude Okoye did NOT travel to Ghana. 'We didn't see him, the twins were here with their band but we didn't see Jude', our source who'd rather stay anonymous tells NET. There are few instances pointing to the fact that Jude did not travel with his Pop star twin brothers to Ghana for the concert: Jude, a regular user of photo sharing Instagram never fails to post photos of their trip outside Nigeria – there were no photos of him aboard the airplane heading to GH, photos of the twins performing at the concert. One source asks: 'If he was truly stuck in Ghana, wouldn't he have even lamented on Twitter like D'banj?'. Inside sources in the Okoye family tell NET that Jude Okoye and a few other family members did not support their brother's marriage to his baby mama Lola Omotayo. Some sources also also claim their late mother never supported the relationship too. 'Jude and some others don't like her. They never gave their blessing for the marriage. Paul too, but he is his twin. Other family members who were there were reluctant to attend. Jude didn't go because he never supported the idea from day one', a family source tells us. Some of the Okoye family members have even gone as far as insinuating that Lola Omotayo has allegedly constantly cheated on Peter Okoye. NET gathered there have been demands for a DNA test to really ascertain whether his children Cameron and Aliona are truly his. 'It's that serious, they claim Lola sleeps around with her so called 'uncles', they want a DNA test done, they just want to protect their brother'. WE could not independently confirm these allegations, and Adetu insists there are no issues, that Jude was only MIA because he was stuck in Ghana. One of the couple's friends also told us all these are 'wicked rumours'. 'Wicked, false rumours. Nothing can be more false and distasteful. They should leave them alone and let them have peace…' Lola currently lives in a mansion in Park View estate, Ikoyi. The Okoyes are currently building their new home somewhere not to far from there. It is uncertain where the couple will make their home.
