General Overseer's Wife Catches Him With A Member's Wife

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 01:16 PM PDT

"I was surprised that my husband locked his prayer partner, wife of another man, in his bedroom overnight... The act not only led to the collapse of our marriage but it also led to the break up in the woman's home because after I had left him, people were still seeing my husband and the woman together.
"Her husband eventually sent her packing from her matrimonial home..."

Those where the words of an estranged pastor's wife, Mrs. Rebecca Bamidele, while narrating to an Ojo Customary Court in Lagos, how her husband, Pastor Israel Bamidele, locked himself with a female prayer partner in his bedroom overnight on several occasions.

Giving evidence in a divorce petition which her husband filed against her in the court, Rebecca said although her husband falsely accused her of infidelity, he was the one that is neck deep in the shameful act.
Apart from the issue of hosting his prayer partner in his bedroom, Rebecca also disclosed that she caught her husband, Pastor Bamidele, sleeping with his school secretary on several occasion, but she couldn't complain because he would beat her silly.
When asked the position of her husband's family on the crisis, Rebecca said:
She once traveled to Osun State to meet her mother-in-law but to her surprise her husband's mum said she should allow his son marry another wife because her father-in-law, who is a prophet, had three wives.
redecca added, "When I returned to Lagos, my husband quarreled with me, saying why should I go to his homestead in Osun State to inform his mother about issues in our marriage in Lagos?"

She said, "anytime I complain, my husband will say I was becoming too stubborn for him. He would say in Yoruba, 'ila ti n ga ju onire lo', meaning, the okro plant was becoming taller than it's owner."

When the court asked her about the role played by other pastors to resolve the crisis, Rebecca said Bamidele is the founder and general overseer of his church and as such other leaders were subordinated to him since he appointed them.

The court president, Hakeem Tunde Oyekan, adjourned the matter till 27 August, 2013, for judgement.

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 01:14 PM PDT

This is very strange. This woman Amanda Ross who is 41 has given birth to her first baby just 15 hours after discovering she was pregnant. She has never been pregnant before and thought she just had stomach upset when labour set in.
While shopping with her partner,Paul Dean she had been feeling bloated and blamed it on constipation and went to her local health centre where they gave her a scan - and told her she was probably seven or eight months pregnant.
She said:
'My first reaction when they told me I was pregnant was one of sheer terror.
'I thought "Oh my God", I could have done this ten years ago - but I'm in my 40s.
'It was a massive shock and I still can't believe it. It's going to get some getting used to.''I had no idea I was expecting - there'd been no flutters, no cravings, no kicking, no morning sickness, no kicking, nothing.
'We were totally unprepared for a new baby - we hadn't even got a cotton bud.'Thankfully our families have been really good, running around to get everything we need.'
Stunned Paul, 53, has been with Amanda for 14 years and neither of them work. He is already dad to Andrew, 34, and daughter Jessica, 32.
He said:
'I thought 'where the hell did that come from? She's had no pains or cravings or stomach aches, nothing'I'm still in shock and the reality has yet to sink in. It's going to take some getting used to.

“God Will Place A Curse On You” – Toyin Aimakhu

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 01:12 PM PDT

Toyin Aimakhu has had enough of all the negativities coming from her critics. The actress who recently got married to fellow actor, Niyi Johnson took to her twitter handle @aimakhutoyin to condemn what she terms negative criticism faced by people in the entertainment industry.
Since she walked down the aisle with her handsome hubby, the pretty actress has come under criticisms. While some alleged that she's about three years older than her husband, others lambasted her for staging a low-key wedding ceremony as a celeb.
Not happy with all these, the Edo State-born actress has allegedly placed a curse on her critics and begged God to make it come to pass.
She tweeted, 'I don't understand anymore,  people will insult us to get married after getting married you will be cursing us that is just a year, if the marriage breaks again you people will be shouting that we arr irresponsible. Anyways anyone who places a curse or say negative words about my home GOD of Abraham,GOD of GOD, ALLAH will place a curse on them and all their lives will bring negative meanings to people".
She added, "Blood runs through our veins and not petrol or diesel, being an actor or actress doesn't mean we don't make mistakes, pleases keep praying for us. I will try my best to keep my head up and be the best wife, role model, actress, friend and mother. No more curses or abuse, we are human and not Holy Spirit".
The actress then rounded up her series of tweets, saying, "I rest my case till another day, for the future. I was never married, this is my first and only and last marriage till I die. I need your prayers to kip me going not curse."

Tonto Dikeh in trouble as movie producers, directors stop giving her roles

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 10:09 AM PDT

Tonto Charity Dikeh has become a force to reckon with in the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood. The actress and singer from Rivers State is of the Ikwerre tribe. Born June 9, 1985, Dikeh competed against other contestants on a reality TV show called The Next Movie Star where she was the first runner-up.Hitz writes about the many controversies of the sultry actress and why she should take it easy for a blossomed career.

Nollywood, is second only to the Indian film industry in number of movies produced each year and it has produced world class stars like Omotola Jalade Ekehinde, Genevieve Nnaji, Olu Jacobs, Pete Edochie, the late Sam Loco Efe, Nkem Owoh and many others.
Dikeh says that after her second movie 'Holy Cross', more movie directors and producers were willing to cast her, and she has appeared in scores of movies ever since.
The actress has received criticism on many a movie she starred in making her a hot cake for producers who want her to be part of their movies due to her logic in script interpretation.
The enchanting young actress still have a lot in store for her and she could achieve whatever she want to achieve in the industry.
Nollywood is just a step in the right direction to become a world renowned. She has the charisma, physics, face and other attributes anyone could think of to become a star. But the crazy incidents of late is not telling good of her image. It could be a strategy to be hyped by the media, but controversies easily kills a celebrity image.
Hitz can exclusively report that there is a current gang up to frustrate the career of actress, Tonto Dikeh, who is also a darling to controversies.
Tonto who hugs, chews and pampers controversy in a very helplessly controversial manner is said to have bitten more than she can chew in recent times following her rude and troublesome behaviour while on set. A certain top movie Director who wouldn't want his name mentioned, was directing a movie on a set at Asaba with Tonto Dikeh playing lead in the movie and ever since he came back to Lagos after the shoot, he has not stopped complaining about how rude and abusive Tonto played out herself all through at the location.
According to him, "Tonto Dikeh is such a rot and lacks every bit of home training, apologies to her parents. 'I tried to control myself in order not to disrupt the set, but I got upset over the kind of insult Tonto, heaped on the makeup artiste on the set. A woman who is old enough to be her mother" 'Are you stupid, don't you know what you are supposed to do? Must I remind you before you'll know you are supposed to make me up'? Those were said to be Tonto's words to the already fuming makeover artiste who was at the verge of throwing back some punch lines at her.
At this point, the director was said to have lashed at Tonto seriously and washed her in, out, left, right and center until the situation was later calmed down by the producer of the movie. This was sequaled by a certain report made available to this medium that due to her controversial lifestyle and appetite for trouble, Tonto's colleagues now isolate themselves from her, as well as some of her very close friends.
Meanwhile a check by this medium has revealed that top movie producers and directors have teamed up to frustrate Tonto Dikeh due to mannerless attitude while on set. According to them, "that little brat, apart from her addictions to marijuana and cigarette, doesn't give a damn about whose ox is gored, she abuses, throw tantrums and fight on set at every slightest provocation and we must make sure she's humiliated. She seem to have gathered to much weight and has hurriedly forgotten those days when she used to go on bended knees for a 'waka pass' role in movies. We'll teach her a lesson'. They vowed.
On the other hand, records have it that the 'Mother Controversy' as Tonto is now widely addresses by colleagues doesn't enjoy the best of relationship with most of her colleagues. Among whom are: Mercy Johnson, her arch rival, Mamma Gee, even though she was credited of introducing her to the industry big time, Genevieve, although the genesis of their disagreement was not stated, Nonso Diobi for rebuking her over abusive comments on Mercy Johnson. Other names given are, Nuella Njubigbo and Monalisa Chinda, all of whom are producers' top demands in movies.
Meanwhile producers and directors, who have worked with her, have described Mercy Johnson as a down to earth person, cheerful and cool-headed to work with. Sources who spoke exclusively to www.myemag.net claim it's the reason MJ as Mercy is famously addressed is of a very high demand in movies in the past few years, especially now that Nollywood is shifting base to Asaba in Delta State, Nigeria.
Mercy Johnson, married to Odianose Okojie, blessed with a beautiful baby, Purity has countless of movies to her credit and has won to herself, too numerous fans within a short period of time.

My Ordeal in the den of ritualists-Man tells his story

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 10:07 AM PDT

Eze Obasi is a motor mechanic  from Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State. He resides at Oraifite Street, but has his workshop on Aku Street, all at  the Ogui New Layout  of  the Coal City.

That fateful Sunday in April, Eze had dressed up and was set to go for a child dedication with one of his friends but never had any inkling that he was heading for an encounter with the devil.
By the time he got to Aku Street, he could not find his friend. He then decided to cross over to Edinburgh Roundabout to recharge his phone and call him. He never made that call.  Rather, he found himself on a journey into a thick bush at  Akokwa, Ideato Local Government Area of Imo State, where he was to be offered to the gods as  sacrifice.

Two months after the traumatic experience from  which God saved him, Eze is still in shock and has found it difficult to believe that he could have died three months ago. The following is Eze Obasi's story as told by him.
"It was a Sunday and  I came out at the popular Edinburgh Roundabout, (the home of newspapers and vendors) in central Enugu and I saw one man who told me he was looking for a mechanic that would help fix his car. I told him I am a mechanic and requested to know where the vehicle was. He said it was parked at the WTC junction nearby, so I went and brought some tools and followed him.
"By the time we got there, I discovered that there were four young men. I opened the bonnet of the car, a Mercedes Benz V-Boot, which was bearing a government number plate. I stood in front of the bonnet and  by then all the four men were by my side. I asked them what was wrong with the car and they said it wasn't starting, so I bent over to check the engine.
"In the split of a second, I discovered that a substance had been blown into my face and had entered my eyes. I screamed 'my eyes oh'! And just as I struggled to regain balance and clear my face, the men guided me into the car, which sped off. Before we got  to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, UNEC, gate, I was already feeling sleepy and soon slept off.
"When I regained  consciousness, I discovered that I was in a bush and it was later that  I found out that I had been taken to somewhere in Akokwa, in the Ideato area of Imo State. I was very weak but was able to notice a group of young men inside a room nearby. It was then I said some prayers telling God that I only tried to help people in need and that in my town such gesture does not attract curse or condemnation.
"About an hour later, it was very dark and  noise started coming from the room and a red curtain on the door began to shake. Suddenly someone came from behind the curtains holding something like a bottle that had a blinking light. He ran the light through my body from head to toe and went back.  When he got close to the curtain, he asked who brought me to that place. He turned round and used the bottle to hit me and immediately I regained full consciousness. But as I tried to get up, I realized that I was tied to a bench.  Three of them came forward and untied me and led me through the bush to a point where the men touched me and immediately disappeared and I started struggling on my own to find a way out of the bush.
"It was very late by the time I got to the main road. I didn't know where I was but I continued moving until I saw a woman. I asked her where that place was and she said it's Akokwa in Imo State and asked who brought me to that place. I told her my story and she directed me to go straight on till I got to a junction. She said  one of the roads leads to Aba-Port Harcourt road and that the other leads to Arondizuogu, while the third leads to Nnewi. She advised me to take the route towards Nnewi that I would see a vehicle that would take me to Anambra.
"I told her that I didn't have any money on me and she brought out N500 and gave to me. I asked her how I would see her again to return her money and the woman asked me to go first; that I didn't realize what God had done for me.
"I boarded a vehicle and in the bus I narrated my story. The driver who took me to Anambra did not take a dime from me. I only paid a fare from Anambra to Enugu. And from New Market where the bus dropped me at about 12 midnight, I found my way back to my house at  Oraifite Street."

It wasn't the end of his ordeal.

Weeks after the ugly experience, Eze continued to hear strange voices and noise similar to the ones he heard coming from the mysterious house in the bush he was taken to at night.

"After narrating my story to people, I continued to hear those strange noises and languages which I didn't understand. It always happened when I was alone. There was a language they were speaking there which I didn't understand. So, it kept reverberating until my colleagues took me to a prayer house for prayers and thanksgiving, since then I stopped hearing the strange voices and noises ."

It was difficult for Eze to recall what those voices were saying. The only thing he remembered was  the voice that said 'young man, go! go! go!'

He recalled that after some  incantations that the man who appeared to be their leader chanted, he said they brought the wrong person and that he should  therefore, be taken away immediately.

Describing the scenario inside the bush, Eze noted that a house was built there probably for ritual purposes. He said it has a red curtain and  the ritualists  wore  blue uniforms. He described the room as a large one with members whom, he said, tied  pieces of clothing round their heads with a cross on their foreheads.  They were about 18 in number.

Unbelievable: Pastor, 3 Others Arrested For Armed Robbery

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 05:31 AM PDT

It was a day of shame for the members of a popular Pentecostal Church in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State as their pastor and spiritual leader was arrested with three others for armed robbery operation.
From what Pakurumo.com gathered, the deadly gang had successfully robbed a house in the town but luck ran on them when one of the gang members was arrested during a police man-hunt...
It was this arrest that led to the apprehension of the pastor and others.
The pastor who was arrested during the weekend along with other members of the gang have been detained at the Ibara Police station in Abeokuta.

As news of the arrest of the popular pastor filtered into town, few of his die-heard church members besieged the Police station in protest, claiming there must have been a mix up as they couldn't imagine their spiritual leader involving himself in armed robbery.

Nigerians Among 31 Migrants Drowned While Crossing To Italy

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 04:40 AM PDT

AFP – Italian media reported today that Nigerian migrants were among several dozen people who drowned weekend off the coast of Libya, while attempting to cross into Italy.
Thirty one migrants, including nine women, drowned off the coast of Libya during an attempted crossing to Italy according to survivors who managed to complete the journey, Italian media reported Sunday.

A dinghy carrying 53 migrants capsized on Friday evening, and witnesses said 31 of those who had been thrown off it drowned in the accident.

The twenty two survivors, who come from Nigeria, Gambia, Benin and Senegal, said the dinghy had capsized after three days at sea. They were rescued by a passing merchant ship and taken to Lampedusa island, the reports said.

As the number of boat immigrants attempting the crossing soars in the good weather, rescuers saved another 450 people trying to reach Italy on Friday and Saturday, increasing tensions at the already crowded refugee centre on the island.

Another 92 migrants including 16 women were rescued Sunday morning in the Strait of Sicily after their boat got into difficulty.

Since 1999, more than 200,000 people have arrived on Lampedusa which is closer to North Africa than Italy making it, along with the Greece-Turkey border, one of the biggest gateways for undocumented migrants and refugees into the European Union.

In nearby Malta, 112 migrants were saved from their drifting dinghy overnight Saturday in a 13 hour operation during which eight of those rescued were airlifted to hospital by helicopter for urgent medical attention.

That group which included 20 women and four children was suffering from exhaustion, dehydration and sun stroke, a Maltese army spokesman told AFP.

The latest arrivals bring the number of migrants to land on Malta in July to 880 an all time record for a month while 1,200 people in total have landed on the island so far this year.

WOW! Bible Remains Intact After Car Burnt To Ashes In Abuja

Posted: 29 Jul 2013 04:21 AM PDT

Indeed miracles are real! They are experiential occurrences which raise the conviction of believers and their devotion to spirituality across all faiths. A very strange miracle occurred in Abuja on Saturday, when a Bible remained untouched by fire from a car that burnt into ashes.
The car, driven by one Jeremiah Giwa, who arrived the country from United Kingdom about five months ago after completing his tertiary education, swerved off the road, tumbled and eventually landed in a ditch, exploding in flames.
Jeremiah who was driving the care narrates the event and the Bible miracle:
"My younger brother, Joshua and I were going to pick our parents and elder brother from the airport, so we had an accident on the way at the road before Galadimawa. We were coming from our home in the Games Village. The car was very fine and it hadn't developed any fault before.
"That morning, it was raining and the car began to swerve off the road. I tried to bring the car back on the road but the break was not holding anymore. I tried ceaselessly and I later lost control of the car. The car eventually tumbled twice after moving zigzag on the road and landed in a ditch.
"I have been driving close to five years and I was very okay when I drove the car.
"When it happened, we immediately unhooked our seat-belts; I talked to my brother for a few seconds to ensure he was okay. We unhooked the belts; thank God it wasn't jammed.

"We tried to open the driver's door but the door was jammed. We tried to break the glass too, it refused to break. We managed to spot one of the windows at the back; we broke it and climbed out through it, under one of the chairs. We went far away from the car to ensure our safety because the car was already in flames.
The two of us were the only occupants of the car and my brother was sitting beside me in front. We were so shocked that we both came out unscathed.

"We watched the car go up in flames while other drivers initially drove past us. It was about a few minutes before 6am; so it was still a bit dark.

"By the time people began to stop, everything had burnt beyond recognition. To our surprise, the early morning rain which we thought could help save the car also stopped immediately the car was completely gutted by the fire. Sympathizers didn't even know we owned the car. They all ran past us to see the burning car. They were wondering if people were still there and all that.
"By the time my parents and elder brother were aware of the incident, they all cried, but I think it was for joy. Initially, when my dad was aware of it, he wasn't happy that we were coming to pick them.

"We had intended to give them a surprise lift from the airport. But, when we took our dad to the scene of the accident, he couldn't talk anymore.

"He was in tears. The car wasn't the reason he cried. I guess he was just surprised and was grateful to God as to how we manage to come out unscathed and how the bible was not touched by fire.

"I am sure God really loves us. We had just finished a youth vigil a night before the incident and prayed against destiny wasters. Shortly after we left the scene, we went to Garki General Hospital for necessary tests including x-rays. Nothing happened to us. We were given paracetamol and pain relievers, which to my knowledge none of us has been taking because nothing happened to us."

Jeremiah noted that the Bible was later recovered from the ashes of the burnt car and it was not torched by the inferno, disclosing that many people had been coming to Christ Victory Life Church in Abuja to see the Bible and use it to pray over their problems.

Bishop Napoleon Obayojie is the Presiding Bishop of the Church. He said:
"My reaction to the accident that happened is that God is God and that He takes care of his own and He shows forth His glory. The enemy had meant the accident for destruction, like the day of Shedrack, Mechack and Abednego.

"The Lord God came in and delivered the children. The Bible that was in the vehicle which the fire burnt to ashes did not burn; the Bible is still at my altar right now.

"That was a sign God showed to the world that He was the one that intervened and that caused everything that happened. If you had been to a scene of an accident, you will definitely know it is only God that can do that; no one else.

"In these last days, I think there are many people whose faiths are wavering, whose beliefs are shaking, and who do not have the stamina to continue. Maybe one thing had happened to them or the other. They might attribute such to God's failure or that God did not answer their prayers.

"But with this kind of thing that happened, they should understand and be convinced that God is still God and that He is in control of human affairs. He is in control of the entire world."
