The Mugshot that Launched Thousands of Online Admirers For a Crime Suspect

Jeremy Meeks, pictured above, along with four other people were arrested and four guns were seized in an Operation Ceasefire sweep in Stockton's Weston Ranch area Wednesday. However, when the suspects mugshots were posted online, Jeremy became an instant sensation as people gushed over his handsome looks more than the crime he may have commited.

Comments like "he's hot", "is it illegal to be that sexy?", "Sexy as hell nd cute", etc. accompany his picture posted on the Stockton Police Department's Facebook page. At the point of writing this post, Meeks' photo has more than 25,000 "likes" and 6,900 comments on the post, most along the same line. On the FOX news page that first reported the news, the post has got almost 30,000 shares, 40,000 comments and 180,000 likes.

Let me not lie, the guy is fine, but arrested for possesion of arms, and with all those jailhouse tattoos over him? Nah, nothing to admire there. What about you?

Diss or Love? Chris Brown Calls Karrueche Tran The B-Word on Instagram

"This bitch scares me when she drive!! #goodluckeverybodyelse" This was the caption Chris Brown shared with the picture above of him in the car with girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The hashtag is a reference to an episode of family guy with an Asian lady driving recklesslessly, but even then, should he have called her "Bitch?"

This picture and caption is following an earlier one today where Chris Brown apparently expresses his love for Karrueche, calling her "A Real One".

So maybe this is another proof of how close the couple are and how they understand each other. But...hmm. For me, this is why I can't take their relationship seriously.

The World’s Youngest Mother: Lina Medina Gave Birth To Baby at 5 Years Old

Lina Medina was five years, seven months, and 21 days old at the time of her son Gerardo's birth, and she's the youngest mother on record. 

Lina's parents were worried. Lina, one of nine children in this poor family of the Peruvian Andes, had a seemingly inexplicable abdominal growth — which was growing larger by the week.

Fearing she had cancer, Lina's parents brought her to the doctor. The Peruvian girl was cancer-free; she was, however, seven months pregnant. Six weeks later, on May 14, 1939, Lina gave birth via Cesarean section to baby Gerardo, who weighed six pounds at birth.





In performing the c-section, doctors noted that Lina had gone through puberty at a very early age, called "precocious puberty." Researchers further pieced together shocking details of Lina's ascent into "adulthood": she had developed mature breasts by age four and had her first menstrual cycle at two and a half (with some reports suggesting that her first period came at the age of eight months).

She's never revealed the identity of Gerardo's father — and, in fact, may not know who it is; the doctor who delivered Gerardo noted that Lina's mastery of the details of her pregnancy was fleeting, due in part to her young age. But the pregnancy was definitely real.

Wendy Williams Show Faces "Nurse In" Protest After She Condemns Public Breast Feeding

Wendy Williams is known for stirring up controversy on the news of the day segment of her show, and now the talk show host is currently facing serious backlash for her opinions on public breastfeeding. While discussing Karlesha Thurman, the 25-year-old college graduate who posted a picture of herself breastfeeding her daughter at her graduation ceremony, thereby stirring a maelstrom of criticism, Wendy expressed her staunch opposition to breastfeeding in public, saying;

"I am all for breastfeeding, but do not like breastfeeding in public. I don't want to see it at my kitchen table, I don't want to see it at Target, I don't want to see it at Starbucks, in the airplane -- and I especially don't want to see it at graduation."

To protest Wendy Williams using the platform of her show to pull down breast-feeding, 30 lactating mothers have protested in front of the studio of "The Wendy Williams Show". All the women were defiantly nursing their babies to protest the host's dissing of Karlesha Thurman.

The protest was called a nurse-in and dubbed "Milkies in Manhattan" by organizer Patricia Villaverde, a breastfeeding advocate who rallied mommy bloggers and other women via social media. In between nursing sessions with her 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter, whom she carried in a front pack, Villaverde told Yahoo Shine;

"I found it so hypocritical that she says she's fine with breastfeeding but that she doesn't want to see it. Why is she making a nursing mother feel like her only option is to hide?" The idea behind the nurse-in, she added, was "not meant to be a breast-is-best thing" but simply an attempt to "normalize what's normal."

Mommy Blogger Lacey Spears Arrested For Poisoning Son To Death For Online Attention

Lacey Spears told her wide online followers that from the moment her son Garnett was born, he was afflicted with never-ending illnesses. When he was only 5 days old, she rushed him to the hospital for an ear infection, with blood pouring from his nose. He had fevers, infections and, failed to add weight, she said. By ninth months, she said, he was using a feeding tube.

Now the boy is dead before his fifth birthday, and according to the authorities, Ms. Spears was the real cause of her son's illnesses. Ms. Spears has been arrested and charged with the murder of her 5-year-old son on Tuesday, accused by the authorities of fatally poisoning him in January with an overdose of sodium.

Investigators believe Ms. Spears has a rare mental illness called Munchausen syndrome by proxy, that often involves a mother's causing or inventing health symptoms so that her child gets medical care.


She is charged with murder in the second degree for acting with a depraved indifference that led to her son's death, but not of intentionally killing him.

Ms. Spears pleaded not guilty. Her lawyer did not respond to calls on Wednesday seeking comment.

The indictment does not mention the Munchausen syndrome, but details a pattern of behavior by Ms. Spears over Garnett's life that is consistent with the illness.

A Westchester County assistant district attorney, Doreen Lloyd, said investigators found evidence on Ms. Spears's computer indicating she had researched the effects that a high level of salt could have on a child.

"This mother was intentionally feeding her son salt in toxic levels," Ms. Lloyd said in court on Tuesday.

The charges, brought by Westchester prosecutors because the boy died in the county, relate only to the events at two hospitals that led to his death.

On Jan. 17, Ms. Spears, then living in the Rockland County village of Chestnut Ridge, rushed Garnett to the nearby Nyack Hospital, reporting that he had been experiencing seizures, according to court records. His mother spent the entire time by his side.

On Jan. 19, Garnett's sodium levels spiked and he was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, according to court documents. Two days later, he was barely breathing, his pupils were blown and his skin was a pale gray color. He died there on Jan. 23.

Throughout the ordeal, as she had for years, Ms. Spears provided Internet updates to the world. And when the medical examiner declared Garnett's death a homicide in April, there was an immediate reaction online. Her followers felt betrayed.

Jennifer Hudson joined Weight Watchers in March 2010 as a star ambassador and managed to lose 80-lb. in two years, reaching her goal weight in November 2012, more than two years after she joined the program. She stopped losing weight at that time, and began to work to maintain the weight loss, eating healthily and continuing to exercise regularly since then. She parted ways from WW back in March 2014 but seems to have continued to keep the weight off. Kudos to her, she really earned her new body.

INSTRUCTION AND ADVICE FOR THE YOUNG BRIDE on the Conduct and Procedure of the Intimate and Personal Relationships of the Marriage State for the Greater Spiritual Sanctity of this Blessed Sacrament and the Glory of God.

To the sensitive young woman who has had the benefits of proper upbringing, the wedding day is, ironically, both the happiest and most terrifying day of her life.  On the positive side, there is the wedding itself, in which the bride is the central attraction in a beautiful and inspiring ceremony, symbolizing her triumph in securing a male to provide for all her needs for the rest of her life.  On the negative side, there is the wedding night, during which the bride must pay the piper, so to speak, by facing for the first time the terrible experience of sex.

At this point, dear reader, let me concede one shocking truth. Some young women actually anticipate the wedding night ordeal with curiosity and pleasure!  Beware such an attitude!  A selfish and sensual husband can easily take advantage of such a bride.

One cardinal rule of marriage should never be forgotten:  GIVE LITTLE, GIVE SELDOM, AND ABOVE ALL, GIVE GRUDGINGLY.  Otherwise what could have been a proper marriage could become an orgy of sexual lust.

On the other hand, the bride's terror need not be extreme. While sex it at best revolting and at worse rather painful, it has to be endured, and has been by women since the beginning of time, and is compensated for by the monogamous home and by the children produced through it. It is useless, in most cases, for the bride to prevail upon the groom to forego the sexual initiation.  While the ideal husband would be one who would approach his bride only at her request and only for the purpose of begetting offspring, such nobility and unselfishness cannot be expected from the average man.

Most men, if not denied, would demand sex almost every day. The wise bride will permit a maximum of two brief sexual experiences weekly during the first months of marriage. As time goes by she should make every effort to reduce this frequency.

Feigned illness, sleepiness, and headaches are among the wife's best friends in this matter. Arguments, nagging, scolding, and bickering also prove very effective, if used in the late evening about an hour before the husband would normally commence his seduction.

Clever wives are ever on the alert for new and better methods of denying and discouraging the amorous overtures of the husband. A good wife should expect to have reduced sexual contacts to once a week by the end of the first year of marriage and to once a month by the end of the fifth year of marriage.

By their tenth anniversary many wives have managed to complete their child bearing and have achieved the ultimate goal of terminating all sexual contacts with the husband.  By this time she can depend upon his love for the children and social pressures to hold the husband in the home. Just as she should be ever alert to keep the quantity of sex as low as possible, the wise bride will pay equal attention to limiting the kind and degree of sexual contacts.  Most men are by nature rather perverted, and if given half a chance, would engage in quite a variety of the most revolting practices.  These practices include among others performing the normal act in abnormal positions; mouthing the female body; and offering their own vile bodies to be mouthed in turn.

Nudity, talking about sex, reading stories about sex, viewing photographs and drawings depicting or suggesting sex are the obnoxious habits the male is likely to acquire if permitted.

A wise bride will make it the goal never to allow her husband to see her unclothed body, and never allow him to display his unclothed body to her.  Sex, when it cannot be prevented, should be practiced only in total darkness.  Many women have found it useful to have thick cotton nightgowns for themselves and pajamas for their husbands.  These should be donned in separate rooms.  They need not be removed durning the sex act.  Thus, a minimum of flesh is exposed.

Once the bride has donned her gown and turned off all the lights, she should lie quietly upon the bed and await her groom.  When he comes groping into the room she should make no sound to guide him in her direction, lest he take this as a sign of encouragement.  She should let him grope in the dark.  There is always the hope that he will stumble and incur some slight injury which she can use as an excuse to deny him sexual access.

When he finds her, the wife should lie as still as possible. Bodily motion on her part could be interpreted as sexual excitement by the optimistic husband.

If he attempts to kiss her on the lips she should turn her head slightly so that the kiss falls harmlessly on her cheek instead.  If he attempts to kiss her hand, she should make a fist. If he lifts her gown and attempts to kiss her anyplace else she should quickly pull the gown back in place, spring from the bed, and announce that nature calls her to the toilet.  This will generally dampen his desire to kiss in the forbidden territory.

If the husband attempts to seduce her with lascivious talk, the wise wife will suddenly remember some trivial non-sexual question to ask him.  Once he answers she should keep the conversation going, no matter how frivolous it may seem at the time.

Eventually, the husband will learn that if he insists on having sexual contact, he must get on with it without amorous embellishment. The wise wife will allow him to pull the gown up no farther than the waist, and only permit him to open the front of his pajamas to thus make connection.

She will be absolutely silent or babble about her housework while his huffing and puffing away. Above all, she will lie perfectly still and never under any circumstances grunt or groan while the act is in progress. As soon as the husband has completed the act, the wise wife will start nagging him about various minor tasks she wishes him to perform on the morrow. Many men obtain a major portion of their sexual satisfaction from the peaceful exhaustion immediately after the act is over.  Thus the wife must insure that there is no peace in this period for him to enjoy. Otherwise, he might be encouraged to soon try for more.

One heartening factor for which the wife can be grateful is the fact that the husband's home, school, church, and social environment have been working together all through his life to instill in him a deep sense of guilt in regards to his sexual feelings, so that he comes to the marriage couch apologetically and filled with shame, already half cowed and subdued.  The wise wife seizes upon this advantage and relentlessly pursues her goal first to limit, later to annihilate completely her husband's desire for sexual expression.

Niyola - Toh Bad [Music Video Romance]

The video for Toh Bad by Niyola is one I'm just seeing, and only because it was directed by Kemi Adetiba. I've become interested in her work recently. She did a great job here, Toh Bad is a lovely song, and the video quality is good.

I wish I understood more of what the song is saying but from the story line, it seems to be about when ladies date celebrities in real life. I don't really like the conclusion, but you decide.

Sister Narrates How Kidnapped Girls Returned Untouched and Unhurt 10 Days After

Ejura and Unekwu Opaluwa were abducted by five gunmen on the 8 June from their house in Karmo, Abuja. The gunmen had carried out a robbery attack on the family and were said to be dissatisfied with the amount of money found and thus abducted the girls. Their abductors had first asked for a N200 million ransom but they later called the family and reduced it to N150 million.

The news of the return of the girls, 23-year-old Ejura Opaluwa and 19-year-old Unekwu Opaluwa, was announced by the family on Tuesday. The girls were said to have been abandoned by their captors at a location from where they found their way home on Tuesday.

An uncle of the abducted sisters, Amadi Opaluwa, who made the news did not disclose whether the family paid ransom in the amount of N150m or not, he thanked God for safe return of the girls, and said the family intended to hold a press conference the following day.

Now the elder sister to Ejura and Unekwu, pictured with the girls above, has narrated on Facebook how the girls got home, thanking everyone for the prayers. Read her account below...

After a horrible 10 days, as we sat down for devotion this morning we heard bangings on the gate. Who is that? my aunty's shouted. Ejura and Unekwu!, they shouted. We screamed! threw our bibles in the air, ran downstairs and then we saw them: Wearing what they wore last week sunday when they were abducted. hair uncombed, but totally healthy. My sisters are back. Unhurt, untouched, and our family is together again.

It was an emotional morning, with tears, joy, laughter, screaming, and any form of expression possible. I wish to thank every one who prayed, visited, cooked, and offered any kind of support during our trying times. I have prayed that God will not wait until your trying time, He will start blessing you now!!!! Thank you so much. My gratitude goes to God for He has answered my prayers. He is faithful and has spared us pain.- Chenemi
