Nollywood isn't exactly a haven populated by married women even though most of the women are the most beautiful that can be found anywhere in the country. 
Most of the women are either single or divorced and plenty more still searching. Those that have been able to hold on to a marriage have come to accept their lots of being the second wife.

In a recent interview, Lola Alao must have spoken the minds of many of them when she cried out "where are the single guys?" after being  asked why many of her colleagues are going for other woman's man and even made bold to claim that married men make better husbands.

Many of them who have toed this line have had their lives embroiled in hot waters of controversies, and yet survived while some are not so lucky. Even there are cases of those who rushed into the arms of the other woman's man  only to rush out. Here are a few of them and their different tales of woes and triumphs.

Caroline Ekanem-Danjuma


The story of Nollywood s*xy actress, Caroline Ekanem-Dajunma is not hidden. She is a one-time glamorous screen diva who later became the second wife of billionaire Musa Danjuma. Since then, Mrs. Danjuma who gave up her career in acting for the marriage has enjoyed all that money can buy and good things of life. However, it appears something is disturbing the actress. She recently confessed on her Facebook page that being the second best and being in second place is not fun. It appears something is actually missing here.

There hasn't been any concrete evidence that this Togolese-Yoruba actress has married her baby's father who she bore a bouncing baby boy some months ago. But the fact that the actress went ahead to convert from Christianity to Islam, changing her name from Elizabeth to Aishat, in a bid to please her supposed husband, Alhaji Olaoye, is a sign that something more than just mere man-woman relationship is in the equation.

Alhaji Olaoye is said to have many other wives and Liz or Aishat is just one of many in his harem. But it appears Liz has no qualms in marriage as she is reportedly having a ball even if she has to accept her fate of seeing Alhaji every now and then

Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is surely having the fun of her life in her polygamous marriage. She was nick-named a husband snatcher by a fellow actress few months ago when she got married to Bimbo Akinsanya's husband, Lanre Gentry.

In November 2008 she got married to Philip Ehiagwina, a businessman.  Edo had a second wedding in February 2009 in America, in Houston, Texas, where her husband is based. Their relationship had been in the newspapers: not just because Edo is one of those people that newspapers like to write things about, true and untrue, but also because Ehiagwina had already been married, to Ruth Okoro, a Nigerian-American model and actress. Okoro made his leaving her for Edo ugly and public, both of them saying terrible things about each other.

Popular Yoruba Actress, Mosunmola Filani  secretly got married to Simeon Oduoye in Ibadan not too long ago.

The light-skinned Yoruba actress, as we were told by an industry source, was full of surprise getting married to Simeon, who is believed to be a woman's guy.

Information gathered revealed that Mosun secured the love of Simeon at the expense of Yemisi, Simeon's wife at the time.

Mosun, who once had hot romance with Odunlade Adekola and Muyiwa Ademola, was said to have hijacked Simeon to herself, thereby making him pay less attention to his wife, Yemisi, who has two kids for him.

Mosun has gone on to bear the man a baby girl and their marriage seems to be in ship-shape with no detectable cracks of any discord.

If you have been wondering why Nigerian actresses prefer marrying other people's husbands, wonder no more, because Nollywood Yoruba actress, Bose Arowosegbe, has come out to support the trend of actresses going after married men. Just like some of her colleagues have done in the past, Bose is a second wife and she is proud of that. Her reasons are that single men are immature, childish, poor and do not have what it takes to give the actresses the kind of life they deserve.

A MAN who is obsessed with pop brat Justin Bieber spent a staggering N16 Million (£60,000) on surgery in an effort to look like hie hero.
And Toby Sheldon, who has spent the past five years having surgery to make him look like the pop star, couldn't be more pleased with the results.

He admitted: "Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and I all I kept thinking when I saw his picture was, 'I want to look like him.'"

At 33, Toby is 14 years Justin's senior, and he spent the money in an effort to capture the youthful looks of the singer.

Toby added: "By using Justin's charming baby face as my inspiration, I've been able to restructure my entire look to maintain a much more youthful appearance through plastic surgery."

That plastic surgery includes face fillers, a chin reduction and eyelid surgery.

Toby started losing his hair when he turned 23, and it was at this point that he decided to start having treatments, spending £5,000 on hair transplants.

When Justin became a worldwide star at the tender age of 12, Toby, who has a fear of getting old, used him as an inspiration to change his own look.

Despite fawning over the troubled pop star, Toby insists he's not a fan of his music.

He added: "I didn't necessarily listen to his music or fawn over him as a celebrity, but his face was just so flawless every change I made was modeled after him."

The surgery fanatic has even had SMILE SURGERY in an attempt to emulate the boyish Justin look.

Toby admitted: "The more I started studying Justin and young people in general it's really their smile that gives them their youthful glow.

"If you look closely, you'll notice that when younger people just barely have their mouths open they naturally show their top teeth, giving them a sort of natural and effortless smile."

Despite the whopping amount he's already spent, the addict said there is still more work to be done, including a nose job and jaw reduction.

Delighted with his new look, Toby said: "Between our similar hairstyles, baby faced smile and overall youthful appearance I finally look like Justin Bieber and I couldn't be happier about it."

Let's just hope he doesn't want to copy Justin's recent double arrest!

When the singer released the song, he tasked his fans to record the 'Skelewu' dance with any device of their choices and upload such on the internet. This was exactly what D'Banj did when he released his smash hit single, 'Oliver Twist'.

As expected, many people responded to it and in a short time, the 'Omo Baba Olowo' announced that he was shooting the music video of the song.

However, before its official release, the music video, shot by Sesan, reportedly leaked on the internet, but the video received knocks from fans, who felt disappointed at the work. As a way of damage control, Davido took to twitter to dissociate himself from the video and slammed Sesan for the job.

He thereafter announced that he was contracting UK-based music video director, Moe Musa for another shoot of the song. Though the second job fell below expectation, Davido later gave up on the job after he was slammed by his fans as he was allegedly planning to shoot a third video for the song.

Speaking recently on why he publicly took on Sesan, Davido declared that he felt bad about what Sesan did because he had expected much from him.

Corroborating him, his cousin, Shina Rambo, lamented that Sesan didn't do what was expected from him. He said they were angry with him (Sesan) because they paid hugely for the job and thought he would do what would be appreciated by all.

The Baptist High School, Iwo, Osun State was in a state of chaos and confusion yesterday Tuesday Feb 4th as some students of the school came into the school premises wearing their religious apparels such as Hijab, choir robes, white garments, fetish veils and Orunmila attires, ditching the approved uniform by the state government. And later during their assembly time, the students all sang songs that were associated with their religious beliefs.
According to reports, the students were registering their displeasure at the state government for the introduction of Unified School Uniforms for all schools irrespective of religious beliefs. 
The Christians who are owners of the school were protesting the new policy on education set by the state government that allows Muslim students to wear Hijab to Christian's mission public schools.

The new policy of school reclassification by the state government, which was introduced last year has been causing a lot of problems in the state, because it introduced the merger of most of schools, and because some of the schools are faith-based, there's chaos. The Christian schools do not want Muslim students wearing Hijab to school but the state govt has made it legal, thus the continued protest!

2face Idibia has premiered the video of his duet with T-Pain – the remix of 'Rainbow' and what we can tell you is that it's not your average video.

The visuals tell a sad love story of the Pop star and a lover who can't be with each other anymore. The director of the video US based Bla G cleverly leads viewers astray only to hit us right in the face towards the end of the video.

In the early part of the 4-minute plus video, 2face and his lover are seen in a scene not looking and talking to each other. When 2face tries to reach out to her, she ignores him. One would think it's a love-gone-sour scenario fleshed with flashbacks of good times they shared in the past

It's not until the 2:41 mark we get what's going on: 2face hurriedly drags his 'wife' into a room and tells her to stay put. He then leaves and all we hear are 3 gunshots (three, so that rules out suicide yea?). 2face is believed to have died. The director however leaves it open for the viewers to make up their own story…
 

So going back to the early part of the video, it all makes sense: 2face is a ghost in the house who lingers around as he still misses his lover.

The director also plays on our emotions – the 'lover' in the video strikes a resemblance with Annie Idibia, 2face's wife.

Doctor holds out small stones

A 12-year-old Yemen girl, Saadiya Saleh has left residents of her home community in fear due to her strange ailment. Saadiya is said to produce small stones under her eyelids instead of liquid tears when she cries, which has left even doctors confused as the girl has not been diagnosed with any specific ailment.

Uncomfortable: The young girl, who lives in Yemen, produces the tiny, hard stones beneath her eyelids
A YouTube film aired by Yemen's Azal satellite TV channel showed doctors gathered a small box full of stones that dropped out of the girl's eyes in just a few hours. A local presenter has also said, the girl's case will be the second strange phenomenon in the region. "The case has triggered panic in the area where this girl lives… Some say the girl could be gripped by a magic spell while others say it might be the devil… Others fear it could be the start of a dangerous epidemic," the presenter reported.
