| Veteran Actor Mr Latin Relocates To Osun Due To downgrading In Ogun State! Posted: 13 Feb 2014 09:39 AM PST  Popular Actor cum Movie Producer, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, has perfected plans to relocate to his home state, Osun after living in Abeokuta, Ogun State for four decades. ENCOMIUM Weekly was informed by an industry source that the comic role interpreter's decision to move out of the state he has also contributed to its development, entertainment wise, was not unconnected with the alleged marginalization by his colleagues who are indigenes of the state. According to the source, what actually triggered Mr. Latin's action was the recent visit to Governor Ibikunle Amosun by the Ogun born entertainers, including Olu Jacobs, Dele Odule, Taiwo Hassan, Shefiu Alao, Ebun Oloyede, Tunji Bamishigbin, Dimeji, Soji Taiwo and others, which tactically excluded the famous thespian and Odunlade Adekola, on account of the fact that they are non-indigenes. The source said further that the said discrimination arose because of the group's anticipation of the governor's largesse, which indeed came to pass as they reportedly smiled home with about N10 million. However, the source revealed that the group had earlier met in Mr. Latin's office before proceeding to Government House where the governor hosted them lavishly. But Mr. Latin, whose office was used for the said meeting, the source disclosed, was not invited. Since the incident, the Gbongan, Osun born comedian, who according to the source, said he could interpret the handwriting on the wall; hence the decision to go back home and identify with his own people. "Very soon, Mr. Latin will move his family to Osun, his state of origin. I learnt he has perfected plans to ensure that is achieved any moment from now. "What I learnt informed his decision was that other entertainers who are indigenes of Ogun State have started excluding him from some important decisions on entertainment in the state. Even, in December 2013, I learnt they all visited Governor Amosun and they were given about N10 million. But when they were to share the money, they left out Mr. Latin and Odunlade Adekola. I learnt the decision didn't go down well with Mr. Latin, and he has since made up his mind to go back to his state. "Mr. Latin had even paid Governor Aregebsola a courtesy visit in the bid to facilitate his relocation. And I learnt he has been negotiating with the governor on how he could move his foundation office to Osogbo, capital of the state," the source added. Confirming the development on Saturday, February 8, 2014, the versatile entertainer said, "Out of every rumour, there is always an element of truth. But left to me, there is nothing wrong in flashing back at one's home. Osun is my state of origin, and there is no place like home. Whatever step I take, I have reason for it. But all I know is that I have lived in Abeokuta, Ogun State for 40 years. I came to Abeokuta in 1974. Since, I have been contributing my quota to the development of the state, especially in the aspect of entertainment. The headquarters of my foundation, my personal office, house and everything I have achieved are in Abeokuta. To cap it all, I also married from there. That's where I have been paying my tax without failing. But if I am being shown the way out of the state by my colleagues, that means I have been reminded of where I came from, and there is nothing wrong in that. Even Odunlade Adekola that was born in Abeokuta is also being discriminated against. So, what are we saying?" |

Posted: 13 Feb 2014 09:07 AM PST  READ AND LEARN FROM THIS: I am a womaniser or should I say, I love women a lot and I could do anything to sleep with any beautiful girl. I was always after all the girls in my class when I was in school; and you know, I always attracted them by the way I moved stylishly and lavishly spent money on them. Girls were all around me and I could choose whoever I wanted at anytime. On a fateful day, one of my friends came to invite me to a birthday party, I dressed gorgeously and followed him knowing that I was going to make a 'new catch, if not catches' so to say. When we got to the party, I made myself so conspicuous that it didn't take time before girls started milling around me. I forgot to tell you that I am quite lanky and attractive. After partying for some time, I retired with one of my new girls to a nearby hotel which we hired for the night. As usual, we slept together but that was all I could remember. What do you expect of someone like me? I was so drunk and tired and the way I even managed to sleep with her that night was a mystery. I guess when you are used to something; you can even do it in the grave. The following day when I woke up, the lady of the night before was nowhere to be found. I dismissed the thought of her as I used to do about other girls and went ahead to get myself prepared to go home not knowing something had gone wrong. It was when I was about leaving the hotel that I discovered I was not feeling well; I could barely walk and my limbs were shaking. I called my friends and they immediately came to my rescue and rushed me to the hospital for treatment. I could not explain what happened to me; but all I knew was that I felt empty within me and I knew I was dying gradually. What could be the cause of my illness as it was not the first time I would go to a hotel with a lady? The doctors could not find anything wrong with me; all they said was that I needed some rest when right within me, I knew I was dying. I tried to explain to one of the doctors and he later sent me for a blood test which revealed virtually nothing and it was after that I became scared because of the way I was feeling, I didn't know how a doctor could say I was okay. After two weeks in the hospital, without any improvement, the doctors invited my parents and advised them to take me home to find solution to my illness as it was beyond orthodox medicine. Hence, my father asked me series of questions which I didn't answer candidly. I knew I was dying, but at least, there are some things you dare not tell your parents. My parents spent so much money on this illness, after I was discharged from the hospital; they took me to a traditional medical practitioner. The man told my parents to leave while he asked me certain questions which I decided to answer, when it was obvious that I was dying. He asked if I knew the girl I slept with at the hotel that night and I said I didn't. That was when he told me I had slept with a ritualist who had probably taken something out of my system to use for her ritual purposes. I was shocked and I couldn't speak but when I did, I asked the herbalist if there was any remedy for my problem. He said he would try his best, he also asked if I didn't mind if he consulted his oracle on my behalf because my parents are Christians who would not allow such things. Since they were not there, I asked him to do anything to make me get better. Well, to cut a long story short, he tried his best with herbs, but he would not tell me what my illness was. I am alive today to tell the story and I have mended my ways. Since I got well, I never went after any lady. This story is not a fiction; it happened to me in reality and it was God that saved me. |

Posted: 13 Feb 2014 09:08 AM PST  I have been with my Girlfriend for 3 months now..she is really Beautiful and Loaded but i have 1 major problem with her, she has bad mouth odour..Sometimes when we cuddle and she talks to me, i have to be holding my breath at intervals and seriously, i can't do it anymore. i feel i would hurt her if i tell her that her mouth stinks. Please is there any other way i can tell her without necessarily telling her straight.trust me i have tried the method of giving her gifts of mouthwash and mint sweets… Your Advice plz No Insults Plz! |

[PHOTOS] Posted: 13 Feb 2014 05:38 AM PST It's only natural to fear being upstaged on your wedding day, so imagine competing with 2,499 other brides. But that did not deter these couples - some of whom met just days ago - when they married today in the romantic surroundings of a 25,000-seat sports stadium. Dressed in gleaming white with the men in sharp black suits, they were part of only the second 'cosmic blessing' by South Korea's famous Unitarian Church since the death of its leader, divisive self-proclaimed messiah Sun Myung Moon, in September 2012.  But the tradition then steers wildly away from Christian marriage - as the newlyweds must then go for at least 40 days without having sex. The period of abstinence is supposed to be an echo of Jesus's 40 days and nights wandering the desert, where the Bible says he remained in the wilderness as the devil appeared to him and offered him a string of temptations, all of which he ignored. A highly controversial figure accused of leading a cult, Reverend Moon founded his church in 1954 and began holding the mass 'blessings' soon afterwards, which grew to global prominence as he gained followers around the world.  The first ceremony in 1961 attracted just 33 couples, but they soon expanded. In one such mass blessing in 1997, 30,000 couples tied the knot in Washington D.C. Just two years later 21,000 filled the Olympic Stadium in Seoul. Rev Moon died in September 2012 at the age of 92 of complications from pneumonia, and today's ceremony - as with another with 3,500 couples this time last year - was overseen by his 71-year-old widow Hak Ja Hang.  It was held at the CheongShim Peace World Center, a vast sports and cultural stadium with a full roof buried in the countryside on the outskirts of the South Korean capital Seoul. As the second-largest arena of its kind in Asia, it is the same venue where the religious leader's opulent funeral was held in 2012. Confetti was hurled into the air today as the identically-dressed couples exchanged their vows, with women dressed in traditional white dresses and veils while the men wore sharp black suits with white shawls. Some of the couples were already married and were reaffirming their vows, while others had been engaged for some time. For some, however, cold feet would be a real danger - as they would have met their partners just days before. Some 140 people from 10 countries who were born into the church - 43 men and 97 women - gathered at a camp near the venue last week for a 'matching ceremony' to meet their new partners for the first time.   The church's American website said: 'After the matches were confirmed, it was a joy to watch the new couples converse happily with one another, many of them with the help of a translator.' One of the American participants who got married today added: 'It's weird to think that any one of these women who I am sitting next to during lectures, or eating lunch at the same table with, could be my future spouse.' Rev Moon was famous for personally pairing up couples who could not even speak the same language because he preferred marriages to be across cultures and nations. His teachings included that more earthy romantic love ruined society by leading to sexual promiscuity and badly-matched couples.  After the 40-day period of separation, couples join together for the 'three day ceremony', the last step in the unusual process. According to the church's American website: 'Over a three-day period, the wife gives rebirth to her husband from the position of mother and then receives him in the position of wife. 'Then in the position of father, the husband gives rebirth to his wife and receives her in the position of husband. Through this process, God breathes into the couple a new conjugal life.' Despite gaining a huge following around the world, the insistence that Rev Moon was the second coming of Christ led him to be regarded with wide suspicion as a cult leader.  In 1982, he was jailed for 13 months in the U.S. for filing false federal income tax returns. His church insisted he had been pursued by the authorities because of his religious activities. Despite clinching bronze at the African Nations Championship, CHAN, held in South Africa last month, the Eagles still went six places down the ranking from their 41 position released in January to 47 this month. The Eagles also dropped one place from their seventh position in Africa to eight. Ivory Coast maintained their first position on the continent followed by Algeria, Cape Verde, Ghana, Egypt, Tunisia and Cameroon. Forty-two international 'A' matches were taken into account for the February edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, 40 of which were friendlies. Spain, Germany and Argentina retained first, second and third places respectively, while Switzerland (6th, up 2) leapfrogged Uruguay (7th, down 1) and Italy (8th, down 1).  Meanwhile Portugal (4th, up 1) swapped spots with Colombia (5th, down 1) and Brazil (9th, up 1) did the same with the Netherlands (10th, down 1). Of the 40 friendlies, 28 took place as part of the 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa. It was the third edition of this tournament, in which only players who play in the national championships in their respective countries are eligible to participate. The following teams have climbed more than five berths in the last month: Cape Verde Islands (27th, up 8), Armenia (30th, up 8), Slovakia (54th, up 6), Israel (56th, up 7), Uzbekistan (57th, up 8), Poland (70th, up 7), Liechtenstein (150th, up 6) and Pakistan (165th, up 7). Only three teams have climbed ten or more places in the last few weeks: St Vincent and the Grenadines (141st, up 14), El Salvador (78th, up 10) and Belize (142nd, up 10). Very little has changed in the composition of the top 50: Paraguay (49th, up 2) are new members of the group at the expense of Mali, bringing the number of South American teams in the top 50 up to nine and the number of African teams down to eight.
