SAD NEWS!! President Goodluck Jonathan Falls ill in London!!

Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan received unplanned medical treatment in London on Thursday after he "became indisposed" and was forced to miss a scheduled meeting, his spokesman said.
"In the course of his ongoing visit to London for a meeting of Nigeria's Honorary International Investors' Council, President Goodluck Jonathan became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting today," said Reuben Abati.
"President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days."
Abati added in an emailed statement that the president's condition was "nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary".
Jonathan, who turned 56 on Wednesday, is not publicly known to be suffering from any serious medical conditions.
He assumed the presidency in 2010 following the death of his predecessor Musa Yar'Adua.
Yar'Adua's protracted illness, details of which were kept from the public, sparked a months-long political crisis in Africa's most populous country.

An American webisite is reporting that, Nigerian oil, gas and aviation tycoon Kola Aluko was among a host of billionaires at Leo DiCaprio's star-studded birthday bash. Aluko, a co-founder of the Made In Africa Foundation who was recently seen here lunching in Paris with Naomi Campbell, was among a group of wealthy businessmen at ­DiCaprio's 39th birthday party at Tao Downtown late Sunday night where he allegedly spent $1.5 million on champagne.
One of his reps has however denied that, but confirmed Aluko would be making a donation to Leo DiCaprio Foundation for charity. One of the guests at the party said this to pagesix.com;
The party was wild — wall-to-wall models. There were probably 20 girls to every guy. Leo started the night with a dinner in a private room and then joined the party around midnight.

President Obama yesterday Nov. 20th presented talk show legend and media mogul Oprah Winfrey and 15 others with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is America's highest civilian honor. The award is given to individuals who have made "meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the US, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."

President Obama called Oprah "the pinnacle of the entertainment universe," as he put the medal on her neck. Former President Bill Clinton, country star Loretta Lynn, women's rights activist Gloria Steinem, baseball legend Ernie Banks and astronaut Sally Ride also received the award yesterday.

The magazine [Life&Style] claims the 33 year old was evidently bloated in the her final trimester of her pregnancy in May but my November [just 5 months later], she shocked the entire world with a perfect Botticelli-esque Spanish guitar figure storming out in a crop top which she claims is thanks to proper dieting [Atkins diet] and devoted exercise. 
Well, Life&Style totally disagrees claiming Kim allegedly succeeded to lose weight thanks to Dr. Simon Ourian, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon at the Epione Clinic who helped her with 'fillers, stretch mark treatments and a fat reducing ultrasound procedure on her stomach that costs up to $5000 a session,' according to UK's DailyMail. The mag also claims that she tries to cover her tracks by posing for pretty pictures with photographers so they don't betray her real destinations.

Kim once disclosed on the Jay Leno Show back on October 30 that her figure was as a result of rigorous work out, "I was dedicated and I was motivated. It was the hardest challenge of my life." In addition to the fact that her fiancée is completely against plastic surgery especially after his mother died from liposuction and breast-reduction surgery.
A spokesperson for Kim told Mail Online yesterday: 'This is absolutely false. Completely fabricated. They made this up to try to sell magazines.'

UNBELIEVABLE!! Teacher Beats 4-yr-old Pupil to death for being too stubborn!!

DETECTIVES in OndoState have detained a primary school teacher, Alade Adebayo, for allegedly flogging to death a four-year-old female pupil Elizabeth Wanogha.
The deceased pupil was a student of a private primary school, Falaye Memorial Nursery and Primary School, located at Fanibi area in Akure metropolis.
The  teacher, according to report, accused the deceased of being stubborn in the class. He was said to have beaten the girl to a state of coma.
Cries from other pupils in the class reportedly attracted other teachers who rushed to the scene where they found that the girl had fainted.
She was said to have been rushed to a private hospital and was admitted but reportedly died later.
Police authorities, however, said that the pupil died two weeks after the beating by the suspect.
The father of the deceased, Mr Wanogha lodged a complaint at the Fanibi Police station, alleging that his daughter died  as a result of the injuries sustained from the severe beating by her teacher.
Following the complaint, the teacher was arrested for interrogation.
Contacted, the Police image maker, Wole Ogodo, confirmed that the teacher had been arrested.
Ogodo however said that people should not jump into conclusion that it was the beating which took place about two weeks earlier that led to the death of the pupil.
He pointed out that the autopsy will determine the cause of the pupil's death.
Ogodo said that the suspect is being quizzed at the state Criminal Investigative Department, SCID.
He explained further that the deceased  was hospitalised immediately after the beating but died  two weeks after.
Ogodo  said that investigation into the death of the pupil continues adding that the findings would be made public.
The father of the deceased pupil insisted that the teacher should be prosecuted for murder.
Mr wanogho who lived at Adebowale street Fanibi  vowed that the matter would be pursued to a logical conclusion to serve as deterrent to wicked teachers who vent their anger on innocent pupils put in their care.
He appealed to NGOs to take the matter up by ensuring that it was not swept under the carpet.
The proprietor of the school declined comment on the incident.

The Department of State Services, DSS, Wednesday, announced the arrest of a university lecturer, Dr. Muhammad Nazeef Yunus, who allegedly acts as Recruitment Co-ordinator of the Boko Haram sect and four other members as they were plotting to launch violent attacks in Igalaland, Kogi State.

Zaria city fears Islamist cells after hostage drama
Meanwhile – Zaria city which  has not been known as an Islamist stronghold but revelations that a French engineer was kept hostage there by militants before dramatically escaping have shocked locals.
Francis Collomp managed to flee on Saturday while his captors were praying, walking four to five kilometres (2.5 to three miles) before flagging down a motorcycle taxi that took him to a nearby police station.
Police said the 63-year-old, who was abducted at gunpoint in Katsina state last December, had been held for nine months in the city of Kano then brought to Zaria, 163 km away by road to the southwest, two months ago.
"We find it quite frightening that a high-profile hostage like this could be brought into this area and kept for two months without anyone ever knowing," said Sadiq Mahmud, who lives in the quiet Danmagaji neighbourhood of Zaria.
Student Bello Lemu, 28, described the news as a "rude shock" and expressed concern that the historic city had apparently been infiltrated by an active cell of militants from the banned group Ansaru.
"I still find it hard to believe we have Islamist insurgents around us. It is worrisome," he told AFP.
Zaria, which is home to some 400,000 people and predominantly Muslim, developed as a city in the 15th century and is one of the oldest in northern Nigeria, priding itself on a reputation as a centre for Islamic and Western scholarship.
In the fortified old part of the city, traditional mud houses and mazes of alleyways can still be seen, contrasting with the more modern suburbs beyond.
Religious violence between Muslims and minority Christians in the city has occasionally flared but not to the same extent or intensity as elsewhere in the north, where emergency rule has been imposed in three states.
In June last year, bomb blasts ripped through two churches, killing several worshippers and injuring many others in attacks claimed by the banned Islamist group Boko Haram, of which Ansaru is an offshoot.
Three months later, Nigerian troops raided what they said was a Boko Haram hideout in the Gaskiya area of the city. Two militant fighters were killed in a gun battle while arms and explosives were later recovered.
Danmagaji is about six kilometres from Gaskiya and on the northern fringes of the city.
Collomp's account of his escape, as revealed by police and the former hostage's brother in France, suggests that he was held outside Zaria itself.
"No-one in this area saw the Frenchman on the day he escaped. We have been asking ourselves if anyone saw him and the answer has always been, 'No'," said Mahmud outside his furniture shop.
One reason could be that the residential neighbourhood, home to civil servants and business people, is always deserted at night and locals stay indoors, he added.
Muntari Kwarbai, who also lives in the area, added: "If he (Collomp) trekked four kilometres to get a motorcycle, it means he was kept in another area and he only trekked to this neighbourhood where motorcycles are easy to find."
Police in Kaduna state have begun an investigation to track down the location where Collomp was held in both Zaria and the city of Kano.
"We are working on the information the French hostage could supply us to locate where he was held in both Zaria and Kano to get to his kidnappers," Kaduna state police spokesman Aminu Lawan told AFP.
But he refused to go into details, saying to do so could compromise their efforts.

The gifted actor is delving into the hospitality business in Nigeria following the success recorded by the Ghanaian arm of the hotel which is located at East Airport, Accra, Ghana.
The grand opening for the hotel will come up on the 1st of December, 2013, as plans have been put in place to make it a talk of the town opening ceremony.
Apart from his hotel business, Dumelo is a philanthropist of repute and has been using his foundation, John Dumelo Foundation, to help indigent students.
Recently, the organization donated GH¢3,000 to the Students Financial Aid Office of the University of Ghana, Legon, as part of a scholarship package for two students who are brilliant but lack the financial backing to complete their courses at the university. He has also visited several deprived schools and homes across Africa to donate items to them.
Apart from the hospitality business, Dumelo has his hands into movie production and fashion business which he established in South Africa months ago.
