President of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) Ayo Oritsejafor Asks Goodluck Jonathan to give half of his salaries as president For One Year To Unemployed Youths!

Oritsejafor, who made the call at the National Christian Centre in Abuja yesterday during the 53rd Independence Anniversary Interdenominational Church Service, said this would build confidence in the country.

His Words;
"The unemployment situation is bad. The situation is critical. People are jobless. I want to make a suggestion; and in making the suggestion, I want to look up to the heaven, that probably if all political office holders, both elected and appointed, will give half of their salaries for one year and put it in a dedicated account for the poor and let men and women of integrity run that account, it will build confidence in the society,"

He also identified what he called terrible demonic sacrifices allegedly made by some people for wealth, political and spiritual powers as one of the nation's problems.

Court adjourns the judgement of 17 Boko Haram suspects to October 9 and 10!

SUSPECTED-BOKO-HARAM-MEMBER
A Federal High Court Lagos, Wednesday, fixed October  9 and 10, for the arraignment and trial of 17 suspected Boko Haram members, charged with acts of terrorism.
The accused are Ali Mohammed, Adamu Karumi, Ibrahim Usman, Bala Haruna, Idris Ali, Mohammed Murtala, Kadiri Mohammed, Mustapha Daura, Abba Duguri, Sanni Adamu, Danjuma Yahaya, and Musa Audu.
Others are Mati Daura, Farouk Haruna, Abdullahi Azeez, Ibrahim Bukar and Zula Diani.

The case which was slated for arraignment of the accused, was stalled due to the absence of the trial judge, Justice Musa Kurya.
The case was , however, adjourned to October 9 and 10, for their arraignment and commencement of trial.The accused are charged by the Federal Government, on eight-counts bordering on conspiracy and acts of terrorism.
At the last adjourned date, the accused were docked, but their pleas were not taken, due to the absence of an interpreter to read the charge in the language understood by them.
Justice Kurya had then adjourned the case to October 2, following an application for adjournment made by the prosecutor, Mr, Lawal Pedro (SAN).
In the charge, the accused were alleged to have committed the offence on March 21, at Plot 5, Road 69, Lekki Phase 1 Housing Estate, and No. 24 Oyegbeni St; Ijora Oloye, Apapa, Lagos

I'm fed up with all the noise about my Actor colleague who gained Independence from 'demonic influence ' or 'Deliverance' at Synagogue. I respect him for seeking spiritual help when others are shying away from the reality of their situation.
Even those who are 'Demons' themselves are throwing insults at Jim. Our level of hypocrisy in Nigeria is nauseating. Established 'Sinners' find it convenient to throw stones at those whose stories become public, making it more difficult for people to seek help.

An Edo born Nollywood actor, Flavian Okojie has been reportedly shot dead in Benin city by unknown gunmen, three weeks after his wedding.
Flavian and former EBS but now NTA(Benin)presenter Omo-kivie Adeola got married barely three weeks ago.
He was also a staff of Edo State Board of Internal Revenue.
His wife shared the information via her Facebook page.
Flavian on set of a movie with his colleagues.

BREAKING NEWS!! A Plane just crashed at the Lagos Airport 17 People were killed!

A plane, belonging to Associated Airlines, Thursday morning, crashed at the Lagos Airport.

we gathered the crash occurred at the local wing of the airport, near the cargo shed.

Twenty people were said to be on board the Akure-bound flight.
A plane with 20 people on board suffered engine failure Thursday shortly after takeoff in Lagos, crash-landing near an airport fuel depot and killing at least eight people, officials told AFP

The Associated Airlines charter flight took off at roughly 9:30 am (0830 GMT) from the domestic terminal at Lagos' Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

"It was going to Akure (in the southwest). The engine failed on takeoff and it crash-landed and burst into flames," said spokesman for the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency.

Ibrahim Farinloye of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) told AFP that "eight bodies" had been recovered so far, with another person being treated for serious injuries.

"The rescue operation is still on," he said, with NEMA staff searching the wreckage of the charter flight for potential survivors.

Another NEMA spokesman, Manzo Ezekiel, told AFP that the plane crashed in an area within the airport complex where fuel is stored.

The area lies between the international and domestic terminal, he added, but it was yet unclear if the fuel caught fire.
