I feel honored and at the same I am grateful to Almighty Allah for preserving me from to my very tender age till now; most importantly, I want to appreciate my parents because I believe without them, I am nobody. I am happy, glad and at the same time fulfilled for all that have been happening in life. I may look petite in size but I am old o! Did you ever believe you will be this famous in life? Everybody aspires to be famous and well known positively and for me I wouldn't say I have known that I will be this famous but rather by nature and with the kind of characters I put up while growing up, I knew my stubbornness made me popular in my area and so been famous was nothing new to me. Fans and people see you as a super star, this is contrary to the way you perceive yourself. Why is this so? I still have a long way to go. You know I am a lecturer, a simple civil servant who is trying to make it in the entertainment industry. I only practice what I teach as a lecturer in Theatre Arts at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education. I practice a little bit of it outside in order to enhance my teaching methodology. I still have a long way to go. I am still pursuing a Ph.D programme. I am not as popular as you are portraying me. But this day, everyone wants you to feature in their productions, especially adverts. So, don't you think you are qualified to be regarded as a star? As far as that is concerned, to God be the glory. It is the grace of God. It is not me but the grace of God. There are still other people better than I who have not received that grace and I pray for such people too. As you are talking to me, you are a superstar. Once you are able to do things in your own field very well, you are a superstar, it is just in Nigeria that we give some special emphasis to some people. Once you are able to do what you are doing very well and you are known for it, then you are a superstar. But for me, I am still struggling and striving. How are you coping with your rising status? I am an average Nigerian, a simple average lecturer who goes about in my small car and it doesn't take so much from me, unlike the superstar who will hide and hide. I go where I go now without policemen escorting me. Like I told you, I am still moving up. Maybe when I become the so-called superstar, I will need all those things. But to the glory of God, I am growing; things are working well for me. I am teaching well. I am super in what I teach. I thank God for that. Do you intend crossing to the university as a lecturer later? For now, I am satisfied where I am. The essence of getting more knowledge is to be able to add more value to your immediate environment. If Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, where I teach now, gives me the opportunity to go and learn more, when I come back, I think it is my responsibility to first and foremost add more value to the college that has done so much for me. I will like to come back and add more value to the community that has brought me up. How has life been like after porting to MTN Nigeria? I will not want to say much about that for now; but all I can say is that everything is fine and cool over there and I'm enjoying every bit of it. I don't want to say much about it but when the time is actually ripe for it I will definitely let the whole world know. Did you see the MTN endorsement deal coming real quick as it came? Journalist and their antics to squeeze words from you; well all I want to say is that when you are good people appreciate you the more and as such my endorsement deal with MTN I want to say is God's way of making me happy and feel appreciated by people whom you don't know having been watching you for so long. In a recent chat you talked so much about how poverty dealt with you, how is life now? Alhamdulillah, level don they change. Let me put it like that. I believe that in the nearest future, level will finally change. But for now, level don dey change. I have murdered poverty and God in his infinite mercy murdered poverty for me. What do you mean by level don dey change? It takes so long to be satisfied with what you want in life. Even the Dangotes of this world are still looking for more level to change. Unlike before, I was not married, I did not have children, I really struggled as a student but today, I am married, I have a job as a lecturer, I have about three degrees and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D programme. That means that level don dey change. I have murdered poverty and God has finally murdered it for me. I am no longer poor, but very comfortable. Talking about that stage name "Saka" how did you come about it? I could remember vividly in 2003 when my blossom friend Gbenga Windapo and I created a TV series titled House A-part which was produced by Greg and Debbie Odutayo. I played the role Saka in the TV series and ever since then the name stuck like a second skin on me. How do you handle funny characters from the real individual? It is only when one does not realize his or her role in the society that they begin to mingle their roles. For me, I know the role I am playing on TV and the role I am playing as a person. The role I play makes people laugh. As a lecturer, when I am in class, my students see me as such. It depends on how one manages his person and the role he plays. As a professional theatre person, I was trained under the tutorship of lecturers that are capable of changing people from one role to another. One of them is Chuck Mike who trained me as an actor and as a Theatre Director. I know the role I am playing at every point in time. When I go for serious business, you see a serious Hafiz, when I go for comedy roles on TV, you see a comic character, when I come home, and you see a father and a loving husband of his wife How many children do you have? I have three children. I got married late, when I was almost forty years. My children are still very young. I thank God for their lives. They are doing well, they are healthy and they are performing well in school | ||

| Posted: 25 Sep 2013 10:52 AM PDT  Mokeme who anchored the reality TV show, in its first and second seasons made a stunning comeback as the anchor man last year after taking over from erstwhile presenter, Bob Manuel Udokwu. He was announced as the host of the reality TV show, at the selection party of the Gulder Ultimate Search 10 finalists which held inside the New Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites, weekend, in Lagos. Also at the event, the last 12 finalists that will scavenge the Usaka Forest of Akwa-Ibom State were unveiled. Speaking at the event, Mokeme disclosed that he was looking forward to a thrilling time in the jungle. He also advised the contestants "to gear up for the rigorous challenges that make up the upcoming adventure, for the jungle is no place for the weak hearted." The lucky contestants are Dr. Edmond Umebuani Chibuikem, EtidoEma Ebong, Okike Dennis, Chapele Tracy and Brosu Anthony. Others are IfunanyaOnike Michelle, Sheidu Onozare Halima, Ijeh Peter Oseleka, Ezidi Bobby Nzube and SalakoOladimejiOlukunle. I'm among the first set of Nollywood practitioners who took Nollywood people to Ekiti. I was appointed as an ambassador because of my educational pedigree and about the only celebrated face in Yoruba Nollywood with a Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy." The incident happened at Tudun Adabu in Obi Local Government. The Police Command has arrested 14 suspects in connection with the murder. The deceased bankers are Alhaji Hassan Gidado, who was the managing director of the Police Microfinance Bank, and Mr. Tunde Banwo. The police, at a news conference on Monday, said after the the bodies were exhumed, they were deposited at the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia. It was gathered that the two top bankers, who lived in Abuja, were in Lafia for the wedding of a child of the police commissioner-in-charge of Cooperative. Police Commissioner Umar Shehu said the suspected killers would soon be taken to court. He assured residents that measures had been taken to curb the activities of the outlawed Ombatse group TheNationng. | ||

One of his close aides who worked for him for five years, Emmanuel Olasemeji who is a furniture maker, opened up to Encomium Weekly on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, on the late Prophet he knew… How did you become one of late Prophet Ajanaku's aides?The first day I saw him, I was not attracted to him because of his physical look. He bleached. However, when my boss who was one of his church members introduced me to him, he prayed for me. My decision to visit his church was based on curiosity. That was in 2007. Sincerely, there is no way you won't marvel at his preaching. He preached with persuasive and authoritative words. I was wowed. And that was when he was about completing his multi-million naira mansion. And most of the church members volunteered to assist the builders. He asked me to work for God in his house and do the furniture. I can't lie to you, when Prophet Ajanaku spoke you would think it was God. His church members saw him as god. He often told us that he wines and dines with God and that if he wants anybody to die tomorrow, it would happen. We all respected and feared him. You dare not say no to his request. He said he had the power to save someone from ultimate death. My decision to open up was not to malign his character but be factual. Even before his death, I confessed this feat openly to him. I can't doubt his power but not as a Christian. For instance, someone came to see him. He said some people predicted he was going to die at a certain date. Thus, he was warned not to go out. Prophet Ajanaku closed his eyes for a minute and the next moment said the man should go out that day that nothing would happen to him. And nothing happened to him indeed. I can say that though he was very powerful but his lifestyle and character were questionable. How many months did you work in his house?I stayed inside his house for nine months to complete the whole job. The reason was that most of the job was done at night. He won't allow you to work on the upper parts of the house during day time until he gave you the nod. And mostly at night. If you complained that it would disturb people staying with him, he would say as the owner, all I needed was his approval. How would you describe him?Although he wielded spiritual power but he was not a man of God. The bubble burst some years back when one of his personal aides, Mr. Adefeso traveled with him to South Africa on a missionary assignment. The aide is quite educated. He is an elderly person. That was in November 2010. And there is one thing about prophet, whenever he is angry with anybody, he would tell the church members that God is angry with such person and that anybody that relates with such a person would incur the wrath of God. Thus, once you incur his wrath, the whole church would stop greeting you. Before they travelled to South Africa, there was an issue on ground. He was renovating the church. He engaged the services of one of his church members who sold woods and planks to supply the church. I supervised the project and it was N750,000. He was to pay after the project. After the project, he refused to pay. And the member knew it wrecked his small business. It became an issue and it was his personal aide, Mr. Adefeso who waded in and said prophet would pay. That was when they travelled to South Africa. When they got back, we discovered they had an issue. The aide claimed he discovered some of his secrets while on the trip but till date refused to disclose them. However, when prophet came back, he quickly started telling us the man was evil, that we should excommunicate him. I know him well, once he knew you had discovered some of his negative acts, he would blackmail you with lies. That was the same thing he did for Tope Alabi. What are the things you discovered about him?First, he is a chronic liar. Do you know that the money he owed he never paid back? The matter was taken to the police at Panti and he denied owing the man. He said he has paid him. I was shocked. They called me as a witness. Though I was scared but I stood for the truth. He spent over N500,000 to settle the case. And at the end we even became the victim. He specialized in turning the tide against people who speak the truth. He would fabricate lies against such person. And the medium he used most was a soft-sell magazine. Second, I can tell you authoritatively that he sleeps with his female aides who stay in his house. He has agents who recruit ladies in the church who are not employed. They used their situation to entice them to work and live with the prophet. And some only live with him for like three months before he would fabricate lies against them and send them parking. But none of them could disclose their ordeal because he was a god. But what about his wife?His wife, Joy, was staying in the upper room. She only comes down during church services. That's why most people don't really know anything about her. She dares not come down unless he gave approval. We only discovered the truth when one of the ladies who was also the wife's aide known as Becky confessed to a pastor at Abuja that he was sleeping with her. She was dating a friend of mine who was also staying in his house. The house is so big and many of us lived with him. My friend and Becky travelled to Abuja and he introduced her to a pastor in Abuja. That one now said Becky has a secret and unless she revealed it, it would affect their relationship. It took her four days to open up that she has been sleeping with late Ajanaku. She was scared she would die after the confession but with prayer in Abuja, nothing happened to her. Although we were suspicious but she gave us instances which we were aware of and revealed how other girls too were his sex slaves. Also, most of his members go to the church with their wealth but left poor. He was very rich. He swindled them of their wealth and virtues. Though we have never seen him with charm before but he often told us he knows about all incantations because he had been into all sorts of occultism before he started his ministry. He said they are all powerless compared to God's power. He is a pretender. Once he was about to discard his enemies, he would say negative things about them and since we were not privileged to see or hear from God, we believed him. That's what he used on those girls too. He bleached and encouraged the girls too to use the cream. I had to leave in 2011. I spent five years with him. Is it true that he once had a wife?Yes. It's no secret that he had a wife and two kids who died before he started the ministry. Aside that, he had a baby out of wedlock, but he rejected the mother. What's the woman's name?I don't know because he was even the one who revealed it to us when the mother came to collect the boy's allowance of N20,000. Only few aides knew. I was so close to him because I worked for him. He had four rooms in that house which are exclusively his own. He had a particular room that if he was there for three months you won't know. On Friday, September 20, 2013, we contacted the ministry's spokesperson, Tosin, over some of these allegations but he declined to make any comment. "Please, I have nothing to say." He was arrested for stealing three cartons of the noodles and two crates of eggs, the man who had been trailed for terrorizing shop owners in Dutse for quite some time. The suspect was arrested on Monday. As humans would always blame the devil, the man said he was under the influence of alcohol,thank God not devil work this time around. | ||

Posted: 25 Sep 2013 06:50 AM PDT  The Police Command in the FCT have begun investigation into the alleged theft of N6.8 million from the ATM of a bank at Jabi District, Abuja, on Saturday. DSP Altine Daniel, the command's spokesperson, who disclosed this on Tuesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, said that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the theft. He said that the 27-year-old suspect (name withheld), allegedly broke into the ATM belonging to one of the old generation banks and stole the money. Daniel, however, said that the amount that was stolen was recovered "intact" from the suspect after he was arrested in the premises of the bank. "On Sept. 21, at about 10 a.m., some staff of the bank came to report at our office at Utako that their ATM had problem. "When our men moved to the scene and started looking for clues and anything that will assist them in their investigation, they noticed that the CCTV monitor room had been tampered with. "After a thorough search, they also noticed that the door of the toilet in the room was locked from within and when they opened it, they found somebody seated. "The suspect was picked up and taken to the station where he confessed to the crime," she said. Daniel said the suspect claimed to have learned the act of opening safe from the "youtube" (Internet) and thereafter, bought some tools, including screw driver and pliers, to carry out the act. She alleged that the suspect removed N6. 87 million from the ATM and packed them in bags before his arrest. "Investigations into the case has started and we are trying to find out if he acted alone or he has some accomplices," she said. PmNews | ||

He likely won't find fault with our latest rankings, either: Diddy tops this year's list of hip-hop's top earners, pulling in $50 million over the past 12 months. He's one of rap's most diversified moguls, thanks to his Bad Boy record label, Sean John clothing line and Blue Flame agency. But it's his agreement with Diageo's Ciroc vodka that brings in the bulk of his bucks. Next up: cable channel Revolt, which will debut this fall via Time Warner and Comcast.
