SHOCKER!!! I wanted to use human parts for money ritual Man caught with two human hands confesses!!

Posted: 23 Sep 2013 10:48 AM PDT

THE quest for wealth has sent many into taking desperate steps as residents of Masfala area of Ibadan, Oyo State were shocked to their marrow on Tuesday, September 17, when a polythene bag containing human parts was discovered in an uncompleted building by policemen who stormed the area at noon.
They were further amazed when the culprit turned out to be an herbalist, Abideen Raheem (35), who lives in a building very close to where the human parts were found. The parts were two hands cut from the wrists down.
The suspect is currently helping homicide detectives at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Iyaganku, in their investigations into the case.
Crime Reports gathered that information about the presence of the body parts in the neighbourhood first got to Operation Burst operatives. They were joined by detectives from Ogbere police station, and when confronted with the body parts, Raheem confessed that he was the one who put them in the polythene bag but claimed that he took them from a dead body he found at Ibadan Toll Gate area.
When detectives went to the spot he claimed to have seen the dead body, no carcass was found, an indication that the suspect was economical with the truth.
Raheem however opened up at the CID during interrogation, confessing that he removed the hands and head from a corpse in a grave at Muslim cemetery at Aba Onde area on Monday September 9 and hid them beside the cemetery. He revealed that he went back a week after, precisely on September 16 to take the hands while he still kept the head there.
Police sources told Crime Reports that the head had been recovered from where it was kept, but the identity of the corpse remains unknown.
In an interview with Crime Reports, the deceased said it was his quest to become rich that pushed him to committing the act, saying that he knew he was in trouble when police came to arrest him. He also said that the act was his first attempt. The Ibadan indigene, who is married with three children, said he was an herbalist and also into poultry business. "I learnt the profession from a herbalist who is dead. My poultry business failed during last Ramadan period as I lost 100 birds.
"I went to Muslim burial ground at Aba Onde to exhume a corpse from a grave. I cut the hands and the head. I used my hands to dig the grave and cut the parts with the knife I took there. The corpse was already decomposing so it was not difficult. I wanted to use them for money ritual for myself.
"The Baba who trained me said if I got those parts, I would burn the hands along with a snail, a turtle and Sawepepe leaves and mix the ash with black soap. I would then put the soap on the head and would be using it to litter the floor of my room so that my business would get be boosted by the number of the clients that would be flocking my office for consultation," he narrated.
Though he said he regretted his action, he stated that he would not have known that God existed indeed if he had not been caught. He pleaded for mercy from the government, promising not to do such again.
Confirming the story, the police image maker, Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor said that the state police commissioner, Mohammed Indabawa, had ordered the State CID to conduct further investigations into the case, adding that the suspect would be charged appropriately after the conclusion of investigations.

SHOCKER!! One-legged Robber/Rapist arrested in Delta State..shot guns AK 47 rifles, were recovered from him!!

Posted: 23 Sep 2013 10:17 AM PDT

Okue and other gang members
A 21-year-old disabled armed robbery suspect, John Okue, has been arrested by the Delta state police command in a hair saloon in Okwashi-Uku, following a tip off.
The disabled robber, who lost one leg to a virus, led the gang of other brutal robbers whose ages ranged from about 17 to 25 years.
Together, they were said to have robbed, killed and raped their female victims with impunity.
The gang was said to be highly connected to top police officers in the state. Consequently, when any member of the gang was arrested and detained, his freedom was often obtained.
Okue and other gang members
It was reliably gathered that at a point when the police wanted to apprehend him in his home in Kwale, he escaped while he disguised as a begger. The police officers detailed to track him down saw him but never knew he was the suspect they were looking for.
This cat and mouse game between the police and the armed robbery suspect continued for several weeks as he became elusive until recently when the gang leader was apprehended in a barbing saloon at Ogwashi-Uku following a tip-off.
Police sources said confessional statement by the gang leader led to the arrest of other members at different locations.
They are being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Asaba.
Among dangerous weapons recovered from the gang were battle axe, pump action, rifles, shot guns and AK 47 rifles.

Story Of a 16yrs Old Boy Who Fell Victim Of Ritualists.!

Posted: 23 Sep 2013 03:46 PM PDT

JAMIU

Master Jamiu Memudu, a 16-year-old boy from Offa in Kwara State but who resides with his mother at Ajegunle, Lagos State, would have been history.
On September 9, the boy fell into the hands of suspected ritualists who took him from Badagry area to an unknown place in Ibadan. He was already being taken to Golgotha, probably to be sold to those who needed his body parts, before he escaped from his abductors on Septeber 13, four days after he had been a captive.
The story of Jamiu's family will evoke sympathy. His mother, Madam Serifatu Memudu, is a widow of over 11 years. Since her husband's death, her three children, all males, have been her source of consolation. At her residence at 25, Ifelodun Street, Ajeromi-Ajegunle, Lagos State, neighbours know her with the three boys namely Jamiu, Lekan and Babaloko.
She was struggling to make ends meet at Berger motor park, along Oshodi-Apapa expressway where she sells hot Koko (custard). Though of humble background, her extended family is a closely-knitted one, so it was normal for her children to go to her younger brother, Mr Muritala Jimoh, who resides at Badagry town in same state.
On Saturday, September 7, 16-year-old Jamiu Memudu expressed his desire to visit his uncle for the weekend. Without hesitation, the woman approved of the journey and in no time, Jamiu got to his uncle safely.
Two days after, at about 3.10p.m., the boy decided to return home and his uncle saw him off to the road side to board a bus to Mile 2. Having waved his nephew bye, Mr Jimoh returned home, expecting a call later that he had arrived home.
The tide turned from the moment the bus moved from the bus stop, and the boy almost had his fate sealed if not for providence. Jamiu fell victim of suspected ritualists before he miraculously escaped from their net four days after he was captured.
The JSS 1 Awojora Secondary School, Ajegunle student narrated his experience thus: "I entered a white commercial bus at Badagry. We were many in the bus and we did not know when we all slept off, only to find ourselves in a hall when we woke up. It was already night.
"All of us started crying but they shouted us down, threatening to cut off our heads if we did not keep quiet. They were all speaking Yoruba and had cutlasses and knives. They were beating those who could not control themselves. They told us to inform them if we were hungry. We were not allowed outside the hall except in the night and they usually blindfolded us.
"I started praying that God should make a way of escape for me. After some days, five of our abductors blindfolded us and put four of us in a Sport Utility Vehicle and drove us away from the hall. We sat on the floor of the vehicle and they put their legs on us. They stopped at a point and one of them got down to make a call. Others moved to the front of the vehicle and leaned on it.
"Shortly after, I heard the sound of an approaching train. I removed the blindfold and opened the door when I noticed that it was not locked. I ran after the train and I saw that they quickly enter the vehicle and drove off with others. When I got to a place along the rail line, I noticed soldiers and walked towards a mosque I saw there."
Narrating how she felt, Madam Sherifat (40) said: "That would not be my son's first time of going to his uncle's place. On the Monday he was to return, I called my brother at about 5p.m. to know whether my son was on his way back home and he informed me that he had already left Badagry, saying that he must have been held in a traffic jam.
"At about 10p.m., I called again to tell my brother that my son was yet to arrive home. We kept calling each other throughout the night. At 4a.m. on Tuesday, I set out in search of him while my brother also left his abode. We went to different police stations along the way. We even visited a hospital when we were told that a young boy was hit by an okada rider but I discovered it was not my son because he was a Calabar boy.
"The period was a trying one for me as I became so troubled, not knowing the fate that befell Jamiu. Churches, mosques and individuals started praying for his return. On Saturday, September 14, I was at home when I saw military men who informed me that my son was found in Ibadan. Though shocked that my son had gone that far, my joy knew no bounds at the receipt of the news."
Handing the boy over to his mother at Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, headquarters of 2 Division on Tuesday, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, Lietenant Colonel Mustapha Anka informed Crime Reports that after interrogating the teenager when he was found roaming about the grounds of Leutmack Cantonment, Mokola, Ibadan, and later the central mosque, a team of investigators led by a military police officer was dispatched to Lagos State to verify his claims.
Anka, who acted on behalf of 2 Division, urged members of the public to always use motor parks set aside and recognised by the government, adding that they should report any criminal activity to security agencies so that they would be stopped from carrying out heinous crimes.

"Lagosians spend N36Billion on parties every Year" - Gov. Fashola

Posted: 23 Sep 2013 08:28 AM PDT

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola(SAN) at the weekend revealed that over N36 billion is spent during parties and events in the state on a yearly basis.
Speaking at the 4th edition of the Lagos Ignite Enterprise and Employability project, a joint youth empowerment programme between the government and the Afterschool Graduate Development Centre (AGDC), the governor explained that the discovery was a result of a careful study of the cultural side of Lagos party life, urging youths to tap into the opportunities for investment in providing goods and services for such occasions.
According to him, the study of nightlife carried out by the government in five local governments including Agege, Mushin, Ifako-Ijaiye and Ikeja showed that about N3billion was spent on 1555 parties held within the period.
He said, "We did a study between October and November last year, we took just five local governments in Lagos; Agege, Mushin, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikeja and another one,. We studied from Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, three days every week for four weeks which was 12 nights".
"In 12 nights, 1555 parties were held in those local governments, in terms of drinks, food and all other engagements during such parties, about N1.2billion was spent and when we dis-aggregated them we saw how much went to DJ, MC, food and drinks, the total picture in the state now and I don't want to give you a worng number but its something in the region of about N3billion monthly on that side of our life and people are playing and impacting on that side of our economy".
The Governor added that clothing materials worn during such parties popularly called aso-ebi gulps at least N1.2billion monthly, saying the market is huge with much yet to be tapped from the market.
Urging the youths to look beyond white collar jobs, Governor Fashola also cited the revolution and huge money spinning opportunities in refuse collection and provision of rest room during events started by individuals.
"Some people have become very smart. They saw the money in refuse, they are PSP operators today who employ people, who own trucks, who have relationship with banks, borrow money to buy trucks and employ people and from just carting away refuse, but some of us say refuse is dirty but they would tell you another story. Now that was a cultural problem; the way we chose to manage our refuse, to do it differently, that is what the Europeans have done differently that market is still very big, bigger than my hands can measure, if you can envision it, you can do it"
The possibilities in the Nigerian market have not yet been fully exploited. It is for you to decide whether you want to get your hands dirty like late Otunba Gadaffi of DMT toilets, or you want to sit in your house and tell yourself that well, you have just finished school, and you don't want to rumple your tie and you're looking for a job. So the reason we am here is that the solution to unemployment in Nigeria is in three simple words; Made in Nigeria," he said.
